Paranormal activity Paranormal activity is a horror movie directed by Oren Peli. After Katie (Katie Featherston) and Micah (Micah Sloat) move into a new house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Micah points the camera at their bed every night, recording the horrific activities around their sleeping forms. The bedroom door swings ominously open and closed and footsteps can be heard on the stairway.
