The book is written by Mati Unt. The action takes place in 1972. The main characters are Mati, his wife Helina and Helina's lover Eduard, who is a violinist. The main character is in the situation where he has to spend a weekend with his wife Helina and her lover Eduard. The trio goes to Eduard's summer house, surrounded by the majestic scenery of big forests and an empty beach. The weekend is full of accusations, desperations, self-pity and loneliness. Mati has decided to win back his wife but if he wins his wife back or not becomes clear at the end of the book. This book is actually compulsurary for the 12th grade in our school. Asi t is an interesting book, I would rather recommend it to girls from the age 17 than to boys, because it is quite romantic. What is more, there is also a movie, that was shot after the book in 2006, also called ,,Tühirand" (,,Empty beach").
ARE FACEBOOK USERS MORE OR LESS LONELY? Nowadays, teenagers have become addicted to numerous social networks and cannot live a day without getting online. This, of course, influences the formation of their individuality. Every one of Facebook users develops certain feelings while using the website. The two most related qualities are self-esteem and loneliness. I think Facebook is not a real problem for problem , its just for fun or to make new friends or to keep in touch with your friends/relatives who live far away from you. I agree that in some cases people get addicted to facebook , I was once too. I used to stay all day in facebook . but now I don’t , I hardly ever use it . when I didn’t have with who to talk , I felt lonely . I only stayed in my room waiting for someone to text me .Now I just to enjoy life with my friends near me ,
character that wore baggy pants, tight frock coat, large shoes on the wrong feet and a black derby hat. By his thirteenth film, Caught in the Rain (1914), Chaplin began to direct his own films. Chaplin now slowed the pace of his films, reduced the number of visual jokes but increased the time spent on each one. Chaplin placed the emphasis on the character rather than slapstick events. The themes of his films became more serious and reflected his childhood experiences of poverty, hunger and loneliness. Chaplin's work revolutionized film comedy and turned it into an art form. Chaplin's films were highly successful and became a household name throughout the world. Charles Chaplin died in Switzerland on 25th December, 1977.
able to act as he wants to do it. In spite of having many advantages, being free may also be harmful for certain people. The most important disadvantage is that too much freedom in children`s upbringings could cause a big variety of problems of person`s character in the future life. For instance, that young ones, who acquit themselves ill in childhood and are not punished by parents, can connect their life with crime in after years. Another negative effect of being free is loneliness since nowadays youth wants to stay free of marriage as long as possible. Not all of them understand that such attitude towards others results being not only free, but also lonely. To sum up, I would like to say that every person is a small part of our society, therefore we should be useful for it. In my opinion, being free means participating in social life, where your opinion is valuable.
central place where I can talk to my friends, store pictures, watch videos which are very popular and rated. On the other hand, this might not come as a chock but children who spend too much time on Facebook have big problems about concentrating on studings and it also can affect a student`s grade . Furthermore, Teenagers and children who spend too much time on facebook have little time to go out with their friends and they feel loneliness. Facebook also causes the risk of problems as cancer, depression, violation, strokes, heart disease and so on. Finally, I really hope that next time when You will go on Facebook you first ask yourself whether you want to talk to your friends or just do nothing for hours and letting your brain die a slow and painful death. Please bear in mind that You can not hug a facebook friend, better meet her and talk to her face-to face.
Research INTERNET ADDICTION This study set out with the aim of assessing the negative effects of computer addiction in life. The results of this study show that the Internet may become a problem when it absorbs too much of your time, causing you to neglect your relations, your work, school, or other important things in your life. Surprisingly, computer addiction covers a variety of impulse-control problems including cybersex addiction, cyber-relationship addiction, net compulsions, information overload and Internet addiction. These findings supports the importance of the Internet addiction. Many people turn to the Internet in order to manage unpleasant feelings such as stress, loneliness, depression, and anxiety. This suggests that it's important to remember that there are healthier (and more effective) ways to keep difficult feelings in check. These may include exercising, meditating, using sensory relaxation strategies, and practi...
Ella was sitting on the couch and listening to her favourite song, trying not to hear the howling wind and the baying of distant dogs outside. The volume was set almost unbearably loud because she knew that all scary movies started with the main character hearing footsteps or creaking from the attic. She pretended to read a magazine and hum along with the music but she couldn't even deceive herself enough to get her mind off from her loneliness and helplessness. Suddenly, and it all seemed to happen at the same time, the music stopped and the clock struck twelve. As Ella had been dreading the room became silent for a minute. She couldn't force herself to move. All her worst nightmares were becoming real. She started hearing all kinds of voices from the attic. All at once the barking dogs went mad; she heard a crazed laughter coming from the attic and a thump.

This book is also known as The Modern Prometheus. Frankenstein is one of the most popular works of gothic horror and science fiction literature and it is considered to be one of the best known novels of English Romanticism. of the 19th century but in keeping the decadent atmosphere of Virginia · His stories and poems usually deal with love, beauty and death. He was concerned with the literary effect he could produce. In every genre, he explores the psyche. His heroes are tortured solitaries, often addicted to drink or drugs. He accurately described the underside of the American dream of the self-made man and showed the price of materialism and excessive competition loneliness and alienation. Themes of death-in-life, especially being buried alive or returning from the grave, appear in many of his works ("The Fall of the House of Usher"). His most famous stories are his ,,ratiocinative" stories, known as detective tales ("The Murders in the Rue Morgue"). · His verse was very musical and strictly metrical. The poems essence should be beauty and that sadness was the mood most in keeping with the poetic beauty. Poe's poetry did not tell on American tradition
hitchhiker or people who he hitches a ride with. From almost every place he visits he gets a new acquaintance who inspires him in one way or another. For example, Sal is intrigued by Rickey, the mañana guy, who feels no guilt at never working and puts off almost everything. Sal likes Rickey's lifestyle and tries it himself, but after two days realises that he can't live like that. In conclusion, Sal is a people's person, but feels loneliness nevertheless. He is greatly influenced by Dean Moriarty who gets them into dangerous and stupid situations. Dean inspires Sal and Sal wants to be more like him: brave, spontaneous and to have the ability to pick up girls easily. Sal is not good with women and usually leaves them when the relationship becomes serious or complicated. In my opinion, Sal has no backbone. He doesn't know what he wants from life thus he does everything Dean wants
How does virtual communication influence our behaviour and relationships? Virtual world is growing closer to ours every day. It has its pros, as well as cons and the industry involved in it has grown most rapidly in the last 15 year. Therefore, does virtual communication influence us positively or negatively? Becoming virtual in the means of communication has changed our lives forever. Recent studies tell that about 75% of the people in North-America use the internet and from that 95% use email and other virtual communication software. This percentage has grown over 130% from the year 2000. I bring my examples on North-America because there is the highest percentage of Internet users in population. Talking of it, what is internet? Statistics say that it is porn, but I believe that people mostly use it for communication. But can it be bad? Along with the use of the Internet, obesity also has grown dramatically...

Constance fled the country with their children and changed the family name, always hoping that Oscar would return to his family and give up Bosie, now also living in exile. When Oscar was released from prison in 1897, he tried to comply with Constance's wishes, sending Bosie a deeply moving epic letter, "De Profundis", explaining why he could never see him again. Love, passion, obsession and loneliness combined however to defeat prudence and discretion. Despite the certain knowledge that their relationship was doomed, Oscar was unable to resist temptation and he and Bosie were reunited, with disastrous consequences. So Oscar Wilde was an Irish writer of the 19th century, whose best-known play was The Importance of Being Earnest and Oscar Wilde had very interesting life. Without language you do not have the opportunity to watch the news, read newspapers, communicate and be understood by the public. You are excluded from the cultural context of the country. It is useful to familiarize yourself with all those things which "hang" teen-music, movies, their interests and hobbies, it will give a chance to understand the mentality of the country. And it is very important not to be afraid of people, and try to be sociable. After all, loneliness is one of the main problems when people begins to yearn by homeland. Certainly, who is going to live here, sooner or later, will decided "the housing problem." And for this course you need to have a steady income. But do not buy housing at once, you need to live at least a year to go through all the seasons, fall, winter, spring. It is necessary to find out all the details with the purchase of real estate, if you are a foreigner in Estonia.

Therefore, denial, which can be either an assertion of innocence or an apparent symptom of the syndrome, is deeply problematic in providing insight to others about the mother's motivation or intent. And I am truly sorry for not writing this letter sooner, but, to be honest, I had suffered loneliness for so long, that, eventually, I had forgotten my name. If you don't mind, I'd gladly come over someday soon and accept my lucky duty as your priestess, and, perhaps, even as a friend. Best wishes, Misery She enveloped the letter and called a servant. Both midnight and December, symbolize an end of something, and also the anticipation of something new, a change, to happen. The midnight in December, might very well be New Year's eve, a date most of us connect with change. English literature is one of the oldest literatures in Europe; dates back to the 6th century AD. Oral literature, i.e. not written down, spread from person to person. In 449 AD Anglo-‐Saxon tribes invaded England – beginning of the Anglo-‐Saxon period in English literature. The first form of literature was folklore, carried by scops and gleemen, who sang in alliterative verse (a kind of simple poetry). Prose developed much later. The first form of recorded English literature was the epic Beowulf, which was produced sometime near the end of the 7th and beginning of the 8th century. It has no ...

The main theme appears tumultuously. The second monothematic movement is a quiet, wistful unison-monologue for bassoon and violoncellos. The composer’s free meditation, sounds like a compound of different interwoven, increasingly strenuous, motifs. The former loneliness and sadness has been replaced by inner tranquillity: Example 21. The Finale is based on a theme, an ancient melancholic Estonian tune, with variations: Example 22. The composer is attempting to rid himself of bleak thoughts. The sixth variation (the last) is transferred into the major key; so the joyous folk tune Once when I was still young entry is sustained in a dance-like form. A brilliant final chord has been reached.
