Climate Overall, Ireland has a mild, but changeable, Oceanic climate with few extremes. The warmest recorded air temperature was 33.3 °C at Kilkenny Castle, County Kilkenny on 26 June 1887, where as the lowest recorded temperature was 19.1 °C at Markree Castle, County Sligo on 16 January 1881. Inland areas are warmer in summer, and colder in winter there are usually around 40 days of below freezing temperatures (0 °C) at inland weather stations, but only 10 days at coastal stations. Ireland is sometimes affected by heat waves, most recently 1995, 2003, 2006. Nature Ireland has fewer animal and plant species than either Britain or mainland Europe because it became an island shortly after the end of the last Ice Age, about 8,000 years ago. Suurim loominguline saavutus on rahvuseepos ''Kalevipoeg'', mille väljatrükkimise aeg venis pikemaks tsensuuritakistuse tõttu. ''Kalevipoja'' algmaterjal saadi kokku aastal 1853, viimistleti ja alles aastal 1862 trükiti. Kreutzwald on maetud Vana-Jaani kalmistule. Tema majamuuseum asub Võrus. Film review

The main character is a young American man who travels to Thailand in search of the perfect vacation. During a stay in Bangkok, he meets a mysterious man who tells him about a secret beach. Richard then heads for southern Thailand in search of the island. Along the way, he meets a young French couple, Françoise and Étienne and he shares the secret of the island with them. The three then start to find the island and finally they get there. Heading further inland, they find a hidden beach where a small clan of travellers has settled. After their arrival many scary things start to happen. The film was very interesting and it is definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. I have seen it for about 4 times and I still watch it with great interest. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventures.

About Estonia

The number of islands and islets is estimated at some 1,500. Two are large enough to constitute their own counties: Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. Estonia lies in the northern part of the temperate climate zone and in the transition zone between maritime and continental climate. Because Estonia is continuously warmed by the Gulf Stream it has a milder climate despite its northern latitude. The Baltic Sea causes differences between the climate of coastal and inland areas. The average annual temperature in Estonia is 5 °C. The average temperature in February, the coldest month of the year, is -5.2 °C. The average temperature in July, which is considered the warmest month of the year, is 18 °C. The climate is also influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, the North- Atlantic Stream and the Icelandic Minimum, which is an area known for the formation of cyclones and where the average air pressure is lower than in neighbouring areas

These account for over half the total of inland waters fisheries production. Marine capture fisheries resources are usually considered close to full exploitation worldwide with about half of them fully exploited, one quarter over exploited, depleted or recovering from depletion and one quarter only with some capacity to produce more than they presently do. after 50 years and then it would be too late to save anything. 95 percent of all fresh water on Earth is ground water and it's getting more and more polluted every day. 53 percent of the population relies on ground water. There are aereas that suffer under the lackess of fresh water. It's very usual in Africa. If we would live in an area under water crisis, we would pay more respect to fresh water. We can't even imagine what's happening in the world every day. Oceans, ground water and inland water bodies are being polluted all the time by different pollutants. There are many causes, but the main ones are fertilizers, factories and different kind of water accidents. Oilslicks can be harmful to the ocean plants, birds and other underwater creatures. Pollutants from factories and fertilizers are harmful to our health. They can cause typhoid and dysentery if we drink the contaminated water. To conclude the topic, I want to say that we have to pay more attention to the environment

Tennessee

General facts Tennessee is a state located in the Southern United States. In 1796, it became the sixteenth state to join the Union. The capital city is Nashville, and the largest city is Memphis. Tennessee has 95 counties. The earliest variant of the name that became Tennessee was recorded by Captain Juan Pardo, the Spanish explorer, in 1567 while traveling inland from South Carolina. History The area now known as Tennessee was first settled by Paleo-Indians nearly 11,000 years ago. When Spanish explorers first visited the area (led by Hernando de Soto) in 15391543, it was inhabited by several tribes (Muscogee, Yuchi people). As European colonists spread into the area, the native populations were displaced to the south and west. Many battles were fought in the state, for example in 1862 and 1863. Symbols

Description The eastern border of Livonia was mainly formed already in the first half of the 13th century and the first belt of fortresses here was probably ready by the end of the 13th century. The first fortresses were not built on the border but further inland. The first decades of the 14th century brought no changes in the situation. Early in 1340 the relationship with Russians deteriorated again. Provincial master Burchard von Dreileben planned a campaign against Pskov and demanded the help of Tartu bishopric. The provincial master began to build another belt of border fortresses. On the Annunciation Day, March 25, 1342, the building of fortresses in Marienburg and Vastseliina began. The latter was called the fortress of the Virgin Mary, but it

The first free settlers arrived also that year. Relatively few new people were sent to Australia during the long wars with France from 1793 to 1815. The second governor was John Hunter in 17951800 and he was followed by Philip King. Under King the first colonists settled in Tasmania in 1803, Tasmania was then called Van Diemens Land. In 1813 a path was discovered through the Blue Mountains, that enabled them to spread inland. By 1825 the White population of Australia was about 25,000 with Tasmania having 4,500. The transportation location was again changed to Western Australia and it continued till 1868. The system of granting land ended in 1831. From then on land was sold. The rebellions in Australia started in the beginning of the 19th century in March 1804. Some Irish convicts led by Philip Cunningham took part in a rebellion at Castle Hill.

Tallinn

Tallinn Tallinn is situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, in north-western Estonia. A limestone cliff runs through the city. It is exposed, for instance, at Toompea and Lasnamäe. However, Toompea is not a part of the cliff, but a separate hill. Coastline is 46 kilometres long. The highest point of Tallinn, at 64 meters above the sea level, is situated in the district of Nõmme, in the south-west of the city. The first human steps, that archeologists found, are about 5000 years old. Tallinn`s first fortress was built in Toompea, in 1050. As an important port for trade between Russia and Scandinavia, it became a target for the expansion of the Teutonic Knights and the Kingdom of Denmark during the period of Northern Crusades in the beginning of the 13th century when Christianity was forcibly imposed on the local population. Danish rule of Tallinn and Northern Estonia started in 1219. In 1285...

Since the threat posed by rising sea levels has become more prominent, property owners and local government have taken measures to prepare for the worst. Additionally, many coastal states add sand to their beaches to offset shore erosion, and many property owners have elevated their structures in low-lying areas. As a result of the erosion and ruin of properties by large storms on coastal lands, governments have looked into buying land and having residents relocate further inland. How to help prevent global warming GREEN JOBS AND CLEAN ENERGY Choose renewable energy. Different types of forests and their forms of usage.

o Ecosystem services - Rainforests play an important role in maintaining biological diversity, modulating precipitation infiltration and flooding, increasing scientific knowledge and in the spiritual well-being of humans. Boreal forests Boreal forests are also known by name Taiga. The largest areas of boreal forest are located in Russia and Canada, but also in the extreme northern continental United States, in Eurasia (most of Sweden, Finland, inland Norway), northern Kazakhstan, northern Mongolia and northern Japan. These forests are occupying about 17% of the land and make up 27% of the world's forest cover. Temperature in these forests is usually low, as the canopy allows very low sunlight to penetrate. Low penetration of light along with low temperature is responsible for limited under story. Soil of these forests is poor- nutrient and thin.

Land iguanas are lighter in color, tan to dark brown, and have shorter scales on the backbone. Land iguanas are inland, lesser in number, and feed on cactus . There are 11 remaining races of the Galapagos Giant Tortoises. They eat grasse, cacti, and other vegetation. They can go for more than a year without drinking or eating. The most famous tortoise from Galapagos is the Lonesome George who was found in 1971 on the island of Pinta. He is the sole survivor of his race. They established a colony, what they called Vinland on Newfoundland. It died out during the 14th and 15th centuries. 500 years later Europeans started looking for a waterway to Asia, because travelling with spices over land wasn't very safe anymore. The first explorer was Christopher Kolumbus who reached America's shore in 1492, although he thought it was Asia. The next explorer was John Cabot in 1497. He sailed to Newfoundland. The first European who explored further inland was Jacques Cartier in 1534. The King of France wanted to settle nowadays eastern Canada and call it New France. To avoid the high costs building the settlements, King of France made an agreement with a fur trading company if the company brought settlers to New France, they'd have monopoly to trade for furs and they would receive all the profits. First attempts of colonization failed. In 1604, French nobleman and a mapmaker named
