Others said that they shopped at least two times a week and it takes about 30 minutes for men and a hour for women to buy groceries and at least an hour if it's a shopping spree. How much do you spend on your hobbies? All men (4 out of 9 people surveyed) said that the most enjoyable products to shop for are electronics while all the women agreed that clothing and acessories are the most fun things to buy. To: John Howell From: Anna Abi Subject: Suggestions Date: 2nd March 2009 Purpose The purpose of this report is to suggest ways of making the shop more profitable. Rewards cards Firstly, I think it would be a good idea to start giving out rewards cards to loyal customers to show them that we value them as clients and it would also show to our future clients that we are a company that supports their customers. Lower prices Secondly, I would suggest slightly lowering our prices and letting the public know of it. We should grow a reputation as a company that is not trying to rob their clients of their money. This would be a great advertisement for the shop and would boost our clientele, making up for the little lost from the lower prices. Advertising campaigns Finally, we should start an advertising campaign. We should invest a good sum of money into it as without people hearing about our shop, we cannot grow. A good idea would be to th...

To: Ms Maire Liidlein From: Kerli Neljas Date: 16th December Subject: Recommendation report about Haapsalu Introduction Haapsalu is a small, friendly and romantic town is a real summer paradise and in summer a lot of holidaymakers visit this. They come for the warm seawater, curative mud, peacefulness. A lot of people visit the resort every summer, there are many different ways to spent time there, both for tourists and locals. Old Town of Haapsalu and museums People who are interested in culture and history can visit the Old Town and museums. For example the Estonian Railway Museum, the Episcopal Castle Museum, the Läänemaa Museum and others. I think that the city itself is one of the greatest historical places. Nobody can talk about the history of Haapsalu better than the city itself. And visiting museums is a good for acquiring new knowledge, but those people who do not love history, may get bored. And all museums are located relativ...

Report on the artists' financial support Aim of the report According to a recent survey, many artists could soon be having some serious money problems as The National Art Association is planning to stop paying a financial support to professional painters and it seems that they can not sell their paintings either. The survey which interviewed over 1000 The National Art Gallery guests was conducted by British Government. It found that guests are not flattered to buy art. Expensive Two out of five thought that it is nonsense to buy a painting. They thought that they can see some art in National Gallery if they want. Report The aim of this report is to compare Estonian and British students opinion on educational system. We wrote down our opinion on the 6th of september 2012 in our english class. We had 12 students who gave an opinion about the Estonian educational system. Corporal punishment is illegal in British and Estonian schools. 62% of British childrens think that it would be needful but only 31% Estonian childrens have the same opinion. Actually it could be not banned, because if they used controlled corporal punishment it is not likely to be harmful. I would argue that there were actually fewer discipline problems back in the old days when corporal punishment was more common. Most school in England require children to wear school uniform. Estonian children no longer wear uniforms but few decades ago they wore uniforms. 74% British students and 39% Estonian students believes that school uniforms ...

Level of education The aim of the report is to analyze the level of education of men and women in Estonia at the turn of the century. A secondary education is by far the most popular level of education. This shows that it is a centric way to cover ground in life. A significant number of men have basic education. This implies that most men prefer not to pursue education. In case of women, they want to get a better education. This is demonstrated by the fact that only 18 % of women have basic education. A large proportion of women have chosen secondary vocational. This indicates that is chosen an occupation, which suggest a fixed income. A higher level of education is not certainly necessary. This is illustrated by the fact that about 6 % of people have elementary education. A small number of men and women have no schooling. This suggests that some people do not have opportunity to get an education. A substantial number of people have a ...

"THE CATCHER IN THE RYE" Review 2018 "Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody." J.D. Salinger Book is read. I'm very pleased to report that I joined the group of people who have already read "The catcher in the rye". Many people have mentioned this story in some conversations and lots of quotes in Internet contain "J.D.Salinder" in the end of it, therefore I was really excited when we decided to read this book as a part of our English lesson course. It was very good way for English skills practice and also self- liberalizing. I think many teenagers would be able to relate the book to the actual themes - it's a modern classic of today. Every teeneager has had once felt himself sort of depressed and upset. It is absolutely normal state for identity formation. We mature, we become adults, we revise our ...

Pet therapy. A kind of treatment designed to stimulate people who are withdrawn or uncommunicative has recently been given a new name: pet therapy. It has given difficult children, lonely old people and even anti-social prisoners a completely new outlook on life Even though pet therapy is only now being widely used, it is not a new idea. In the eighteenth century an English doctor, William Tuke, filled the grounds of a hospital for mentally disturbed people with chickens, rabbits and goats. At a time when people were usually punished for strange behavior rather than helped, this was a radical new approach to treating the mentally disturbed. Tuke's idea was that patients could learn self-control by caring for creatures weaker than themselves. This is an idea which has persisted. In New York, horses, cows, cats and dogs were recruited to heal soldiers w...
