Sports Centre

I am rather optimistic and think it is such a privilege that we have sports centre in jyri. Thanks to the sports centre there is many hobbies you can choose from. You can learn different martial arts, different dances, basketball, football and table tennis. you can take swimming lessons and much more. When you just want to take a time out you can take a steam bath, a regular sauna or just relax in a bubble bath. To me jyri sports centre has only one disadvantage. That you have to pay for these things which the sports centre includes. I find this as a disadvantage because in these hard times I do not have the luxury to go swimming or visit the gym, but again what is the price for your health? My suggestion to end these high prices is to build another sports centre to jyri. So the current sports centre will have some competition and they have to lower the prices to keep

Life away from home may be alluring but hard

Most young people think about living away from home as the best part of their lives beacause they will have more freedom and that can be really exciting for them. However, they do not realize that living at home has more benefits compared to living away from home. The best thing about living away from home is that you have more freedom. You can set your own rules, stay up late, invite friends to your place and have parties whenever you want, but you need to be mature enough to handle it. Disadvantage is that you may feel homesick. Another disadvantage is that you will have to pay rent, bilss, and buy your own food which will definitely affect you in the financial aspect. Finally, another aspect is convenience. You will not have many things that you used to have at home. You will have less free time for other activities because you will spend more time doing housework, balancing the budget and organizing things by yourself.

For and against capital punishment

after escaping or being released from it. Another advantage of capital punishment is that country can have minor costs in prison. In other words, the country may very well better spend our (limited) resources on the old, the young and the sick etc., rather than on the long term imprisonment of murderers, rapists, etc. However, there are a number of incontrovertible arguments against the death penalty. The most important disadvantage of capital punishment is the virtual certainty that genuinely innocent people will be executed and that there is no possible way of compensating them for this miscarriage of justice. Another disadvantage of capital punishment is the hell the innocent family and friends of criminals must also go through in the time leading up to and during the execution and which will often cause them serious trauma for years afterwards.

,,Emigrating" (essay)

However, emigration has both advantages and disadvantages. One the plus side, moving away from your home country can be a really interesting and unforgettable experience and it also broadens your mind. Secondly, you might get a better job. Young people often move away from their homeland, because they think that they might get a better education, if they study in a well-known university. Finally, you can find a lot of new friends. However, for every plus there is a minus. The main disadvantage is that you might start feeling homesick, because you have left all your relatives and friends behind. Culture shock can also be a problem. It might not be so easy to get used to local traditionds and customs. Moreover, the language barrier might be a huge problem. In conclusion, I think that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Although it depends very much on the person, who emigrates, it seems to me that in general emigration is a good thing.

Advantages and disadvantages of fast food

What is so special about it? In this essay I am going to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of fast food. Firstly, the main advantage- it saves time and people don't have to spend their time cooking something for themselves. There are many people who live in a rush, so it is a good solution for them. Time is money! Secondly, fast food restaurants are cheaper than the others and fast food tastes really good too! The main disadvantage of fast food is the harmful effect it has on our health. It is a fact that it contains higher amounts of salt, fats, and additives than home-made food. People eat it too much and it can make them fat, so it is not a good idea to eat it every day. In my opinion fast food is more harmful than healthy. If we don't eat it too often, it doesn't damage our health. Better safe than sorry.

Essay about museums

For example, when you go to visit the exhibition, you learn more about the painter and the story behind the picture. Another advantage of museums is that it represents the country. As a result tourists become more aware of our country. On the other hand, there are people who are against of visiting museums. The main drawback of this is that museums cost a lot of money. As a result, many people can not afford to go to the museum. Another disadvantage of visiting museums is that they might be boring. Therefore it is a waste of money and time. All things considered, it seems to me that museums are not a waste of money, because they are very educative and representive. It is important to maintain the history of a country and educate ourselves at least once in a year.

If people have their goals straighten out, then they will not come to a point where they do not know what to do or what will happen next. It is much easier to move from one point to another if there is a direction. Secondly, if one goal is attained then people feel already sense of achievement, which motivates them to go onward. Therefore pushing their limits toward success. The disadvantage is if people set goals for a too short time period. As people might feel then a sense of failure, therefore thinking that their aim is unrealistic. Since everything needs time, then there is no point in rushing. The main idea is to let things take their own pace. In conclusion, if people are realistic, consistent and patient, then everything is possible and sky is the limit. Every country has its own culture and it is claimed that spending some time abroad makes a person able to see cultural differences from another perspective. It also broadens the horizons. Unfortunately there are some disadvantages, such as at first you may not know the language, so that you will not be able to communicate with people in their local language. Visiting the country for the first time can be difficult because everything is new and unfamiliar. Moreover, getting homesick is the main disadvantage, because everybody starts out as strangers and family is far away. When deciding on going abroad as an exchange student, one should consider the fact that a year of high school will be lost, resulting in a delayed graduation by a year. All in all, I believe that being an exchange student can be extremely difficult, however the time spent abroad could turn out as the most memorable time of your life.

To introduce points: Firstly/To begin with/In the first place; One point in favour of/against is/One advantage of ... is/One disadvantage of ... is, etc. To add more points: Secondly/Thirdly/What is more/Furthermore/both ... and/not only ... but also/In addition/Besides/A further advantage of ... is/not to mention the fact that, etc. To make contrasting points or to present the other side of the argument: However/On the other hand/Although/In spite of/Contrary to what most people believe/As opposed to the above ideas/Some people argue that..., etc. To conclude: In conclusion/To sum up/All things considered/On balance, etc.

Short and long term effects of alcohol

Death can also occur. Different concentrations of alcohol in the human body have different effects on the subject. Depending on the BAC (blood alcohol concentration) there are different states the consumer may end up: euphoria, lethargy , confusion, stupor, coma. Therefore it is important to have control over alcohol intake in order to avoid coma while the goal is euphoria. Allthough when taking a next beer, following mornings hangover seems to be the main disadvantage, in addition there are also long term effects such as an increased risk of developing alcoholism, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, and cancer. Damage to the central and peripheral nervous system is a result of sustained alcohol consumption. On the other hand research has found a correlation between light consumption in other words- one or two alcoholic beverages per day- and reduced risk of heart disease as well as reduction in all-cause mortality.

the fields of science, we would be there. Learning, educating and absorbing information daily takes up lots of time. With a life of eternity, we could learn endlessly. We could learn as many languages as we wanted and we could read every book that has ever been on our "to-do" lists. On the other side, one would have to factor in the mental part of immortality when one chooses physical immortality. The impact on human society would be another disadvantage. If most humans choose to be immortals, the Earth would obviously be not able to sustain them and their needs. We would be still threatened to non-natural deaths, like different illnesses, fire or flood. It would still take time to do things. If Iwere the only one living forever, I would have to watch people die around me, particularly myloved ones. I think this is the biggest disadvantages there is to living forever . All in all living longer is another story

what consequences they might have. I will also talk about some of the examples and point out actions everyone can take to minimize the chance of becoming a victim of an identity theft. What is Identity theft Identity theft is defined as the deliberate use of someone else's identity, usually as a method to gain a financial advantage or obtain credit and other benefits in the other person's name, and perhaps to the other person's disadvantage or loss. The person whose identity has been assumed may suffer adverse consequences if they are held responsible for the perpetrator's actions. Identity theft occurs when someone uses another's personally identifying information, like their name, identifying number, or credit card number, without their permission, to commit fraud or other crimes.[1] Criminals can even use seemingly harmless pieces of information, such as your date of birth, to commit identity theft. these groups and to develop a climate that is conducive to integrating diverse employees into a more productive organization. Because of that, in late 1994, the Office of Naval Research (ONR) asked the National Research Council (NRC) to provide advice on how to ensure diversity in its future science and engineering work force in order to meet the needs of anticipated naval science and engineering specialties. In building a diverse organization, ONR is far from being at a disadvantage. On the contrary, ONR is uniquely positioned to access highly qualified individuals throughout the entire U.S. research and development establishment. Through its broad responsibility of maintaining a window on R&D wherever it occurs, ONR has a potential knowledge base of candidate personnel that far exceeds most organizations both in the public and private sectors. work most efficiently at normal operating temperatures. Superchargers are common additions to the internal combustion engines of airplanes. This makes sense when you consider that airplanes spend most of their time at high altitudes, where significantly less oxygen is available for combustion. With the introduction of superchargers, airplanes were able to fly higher without losing engine performance. Supercharger Disadvantages The biggest disadvantage of superchargers is also their defining characteristic: Because the crankshaft drives them, they must steal some of the engine's horsepower. A supercharger can consume as much as 20 percent of an engine's total power output. But because a supercharger can generate as much as 46 percent additional horsepower, most think the trade-off is worth it. Supercharging puts an added strain on the engine, which needs to be strong to handle the extra boost and bigger explosions

Accents Do Southerners or "New Yorkers" have an advantage or disadvantage? Rush's rule for answering that question is as follows: " . . . I don't mess with it unless the accent will hurt another person's credibility or render him unintelligible. For example, when someone with a downhome accent tries to sell stocks in a metropolitan area, the accent might not help."
