If you have created something, then try to be open minded

If you have created something, then try to be open minded Teacher: O'Mahony V.PG 11A 09.03.2009 This written essay here is talking about my thoughts and facts of life, what is around us. First I thought that why is always easier to create something but to destroy is much harder. Exactly there have been so many wars in history. Everybody wanted to own a lot of countries and others had to fight for their created country. Also they started to teach young people to kill and protect their country with killing enemies. Also government tried to keep a low profile, if there were some wars in state. These are my thoughts of creating and keeping something. In the old times were many wars. Some states predominated over other weaker countries or states. Weaker countries had created their own and loved country and they wanted to live like that for a long time

Legal positivism states that law is created by the people in power, therefore government who is a legally constituted authority. Law is still law and must be obeyed and therefore human nature or morality is not of concern. The validity is in law itself and is sufficient evidence that it must be followed. Natural law on the other hand is legal rights or ‘’law’’ in the moral itself. It mean that the right thing is not what the law says, but the morals that the society creates are right and valid

What does ability to think give us and how does it affect out world? Human is a social being and cannot live without expressing himself. In order to communicate clearly we have developed a vast system of symbols languages. There are over 6000 different languages in the world and each language comes with a different culture. Because of our ability to remember, humans are able to transmit information from generation to generation. Humans know their history, because we remember what we have created. Our world-view is more than what is seen to the eye. Homo sapiens is a developing species. Our body has changed and so has our mind. We understand concepts like time (past, present, future), religion, philosophy and moral behaviour. A human is curious, asks questions and finds answers. Unlike animals, we are conscious of our inner thoughts, desires and sensations and have the ability not to follow our instincts. The knowledge we have is used to make our world more controllable

Coca-Cola esitlus

But 800 miles away, in Atlanta, Georgia, another great American symbol was about to be come into being. When Coca-Cola was invented by pharmacist John Pemberton, it was originally intended as a patent medicine. But Pemberton wasn't doing a great job in marketing, so Coca- Cola was bought out by businessman Asa Griggs Candler, whose marketing tactics led Coke to its dominance of the world. The Coca-Cola logo was created by John Pemberton's bookkeeper, Frank Mason Robinson in 1885. The typeface used was the dominant form of formal handwriting in the United States during that period. Unfortunately for Pemberton, he died two years later without realising the success of the beverage he had created. After his death, Asa Griggs Candler worked to secure rights to the business. Two years later, he managed to buy those rights for a total of $2300 and became the Company's first president

Changes in fire management Savannas are subject to regular fires and the ecosystem appears to be the result of human use of fire. For example Native Americans created subtropical savannas by periodic burning in some areas of the US southeastern coast where fire-resistant Longleaf Pine was the dominant species. Aboriginal burning appears to have been responsible for the widespread occurrence of

I'm going to write about soft reflector (cat's eye). The woman who invented it was Estonian girl Karoli Hindriks. She invented soft reflector when she was 16 year old and studied in school. She got the idea to make soft reflector when she noticed little hairy toy hanging in her school bag. She thought that it would be great when these toy could sparkle. She also thougt that regular plastic reflectors were very boring. In 1999 created Karoli Hindriks student company to produce soft reflectors. I think that it is very good to have soft and beautiful reflectors because then people like to wear reflectors more and car drivers can see them better.

the coniferous forests of the taiga. The ecotone (ecological boundary region) between the tundra and the forest is known as the tree line or timberline. Tundra comes from the Finnish word tunturi, meaning treeless plain. It is noted for its frost-moulded landscapes, extremely low temperatures, little precipitation, poor nutrients, and short growing seasons. Dead organic material functions as a nutrient pool. The two major nutrients are nitrogen and phosphorus. Nitrogen is created by biological fixation, and phosphorus is created by precipitation. The most distinctive characteristic of tundra soil is its permafrost, a permanently frozen layer of ground. The average winter temperature is -28°C, but the average summer temperature is 3-16°C. During the brief summers, the top section of the soil may thaw out allowing plants and microorganisms to grow and reproduce. However, these plants and microorganisms become dormant during the cold winter months. Soil
