He first wrote the short story "Ender's Game" while working at the BYU press. Ender's Game and its sequel Speaker for the Dead were both awarded the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award, making Card the only author (as of 2008) to win both of science fiction's top prizes in consecutive years. Card continued the series with seven books, which divide into "Shadow" and "Speaker" series. He has also announced his plan to write two more novels: Shadows in Flight, a book that connects the "Shadow" series and "Speaker" series together, and Ender in Exile, a book that takes place after Ender's game and before Speaker for the Dead. "Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody." J.D. Salinger Book is read. I'm very pleased to report that I joined the group of people who have already read "The catcher in the rye". Many people have mentioned this story in some conversations and lots of quotes in Internet contain "J.D.Salinder" in the end of it, therefore I was really excited when we decided to read this book as a part of our English lesson course. It was very good way for English skills practice and also self- liberalizing. I think many teenagers would be able to relate the book to the actual themes - it's a modern classic of today. Every teeneager has had once felt himself sort of depressed and upset. It is absolutely normal state for identity formation. We mature, we become adults, we revise our values and are feeling really unusual sometimes.
Geography of the novel extends from east coast to west coast. It is also international because part of it takes place in france. Organization of LEIVA??, industrial interest, war and ??, art, expluatation, standardisation, dehumanistaion, degradation of ethical and cultural values. He is fascinated with outcasts, the alienated, the outsiders, people who have been beated with life, the descenters-those who don't agree with the majority are the descenters, they are interested in those people. The book follows the lives of nine characters. All aspects of the lives are represented to us, the rich are corrupt, the poor may be not so corrupt, decent, but they can accomplish nothing because they are poor. The unjust triumph and the whole trilogy ends with a memorable sketch of a young harmless hitchhiker who wants to catch a car on a highway that leads nowhere. The final scene is the big indictment-critisism of america, road to nowhere. It is one of the experimental novels

The story resolves around Meena Syal, the daughter of the only Punjabi family in the Midlands' mining village of Tollington. The novel provides a vision of British childhood in the 1960s, a childhood caught between two cultures, each on the brink of enormous change. Meena is desperate to fit in with the other children in her neighbourhood while forever feeling like an outsider because she is "different". Eventhough the Punjabi family is well respected by the locals, there are still sutations
