.........7 2.3. Turkish denial.......................................................................................7 Summary....................................................................................................8 The list of used materials.................................................................................9 Introduction I chose this theme cause I think it is interesting and definitely it brodens my mind. I have heard about Armenian Genocide before and it always seemed interesting, but I have never read anything related to this subject, so I thought this is a good chance to acquaint myself with it. The purpouse of my report is to give an overview of Armenian Genocid, its causes and consequences. In my report I also provide a brief overview of the Armenian Massacre, the Young Turks, the Young Turk Revolution and ordeals that Armenians had to go through. 1. The Amenian Genocide and its causes 1.1. Armenian Genocide

I do not judge people on how they look, because the first impression may be wrong decision. In my opinion I think the fashion and art is influenced people's perception of beauty and ability, because people have been accompanied by the current fashion and it will become more beautiful by following it. Someone is attractive, if he/she is able to properly express yourself and and he/she becomes appealing if it is not fake it will gives him/her a lot more beauty. Yes, I've bought a few things that seemed to me a very good but after I have been disappointed in that because it was not as good as it seemed. Now it is very rarely a visual image of the most important thing for me.

First snow

I didn´t feel any strenght left in my muscles but nevertheless I walked across my bedroom to turn the radiator down. That was strange. The heat wasn´t on. When I opened the window to let in some cooling autumn air I saw something slowly falling from the sky. It was too early for the first snow and also the weather was also unusually warm. I opened the window even more to get rid of that suffocating air stuck inside the room but that made it even worse, all the breathable air seemed to fly out. Next, I quickly closed the window and rushed to the bathroom where I was about to take a refreshing cold shower. As I put my head under the cooling water, I realized that something was wrong. The water looked dark gray and seemed to have clogged up the pipes. "What now," I yelled at the sink floated with some gray goo. I didn´t bother to put on more clothes than some old baggy pants and a raincoat when I went outside in the hope of getting some clarification

American Literature Character Sketch-The Color Purple-Shug Avery

Character Sketch-Shug Avery The Color Purple by Alice Walker Shug Avery was a very passionate African-American blues singer, and I believe quite a lot throughout the novel. Her evolvement was interesting to observe. First impression of her wasn’t positive because she appeared rather inelegant and also quite selfish. In essence, she seemed to be unlikable as well as superficial. Shug (originally Lilly) didn’t really embrace herself and adopted a nickname – “Shug”. However she developed a sexual relationship with Celie and with that broke the boundaries of traditional gender roles. She was outspoken, exteremely honest and not easy to affect. All her three children were born out of wedlock. She is a good example of sexuality and gender not being as univocal and simplistic topics as they may seem since she was a bisexual

While he himself was practicing with the Ravens, Alice sat amongst the public. Suddenly, someone shook her hand. The girl turned and saw one extravagant-looking woman. "You are Alice Owen, right? The legendary Billy Owen' s youngest daughter?" Alice smiled and nodded. "Yet I don't believe my father is a legend." "Well, for me he's an idol! I've always dreamed about his live-concert! And, now, finally, I can hear his singing!" "He's just opening the competition..." But the woman seemed very happy, so Alice decided not to ruin her mood and agreed to everything she talked about. Matrix finished all the preparations and went to Daemon, whom was drinking soda behind the stage and watching the crowd. "Lots of people, Daemon?" The questioned one smiled and said," Your sister has gotten quite grow-up, Mat." "Alice? Yea, even thought her character hasn't changed at all!" "Well, I first saw her nine years ago..." The New Beginning II

The New Beginning II Morning came yet there was no happiness on the surface. The young man had no idea what to do next after all, he was one of the Royal Soldiers, not a babysitter. The child on his arms seemed so helpless...so innocent... And then he decided something that a few hours ago he`d never do: he will keep the child and raise it to be a worthy worrior who`d once destroy all of the ishues and free this country from the Demons. And so, the baby still asleep, he left the ruins of what was called a city once and moved towards east, where the Royal Palace was situated. By midday he finally reached the White Wall, where was a secret entrance to the Palace`s main hall.

Seemned hakkavad idanema 4-5 juures, tõusmed taluvad 5-6 öökülma, kasvuks optimaalne temperatuur on 17-20 . Läätse veevajadus on üldiselt väike. Külvisügavus on 3-6 cm. Oluline on külvijärgne rullimine. Keemilist umbrohutõrjet võib läätsepõllul teha enne või kohe pärast külvi. She hated that but since she was only seventeen her opinion was often unheard. Nobody cared that she hadn't even wanted to move there. A big house with three storeys and an attic is usually the place where all scary movies take place and she knew that. Ella was feeling terrified. She was on the ground floor, in the living room. It wasn't exactly the best place to be in, since the walls of the room were covered with old paintings of men with harrowing looks in their eyes, eyes that seemed to be moving. But she couldn't move. The thought of being anywhere, closer to the attic made her faint. Ella was sitting on the couch and listening to her favourite song, trying not to hear the howling wind and the baying of distant dogs outside. The volume was set almost unbearably loud because she knew that all scary movies started with the main character hearing footsteps or creaking from the attic. She pretended to read a magazine and hum along with the music

She once was a slave, but now, to her family, she was a very loyal servant. She was very helpful, concerned and loyal towards the people she cared about. She appeared to share her nature with the Caribbean Islands, she seemed to somehow be a part of them. At the same time she feared greatly for her knowledge of the dark magic. I’d say that Christophine had quite an influential role in the book. She took over Antoinette’s mother’s role and gave her a stable life as she started to take care of her. Essay on Iron Man

His heart had been replaced by a transplant powered by palladium core which was slowly killing him during Iron Man 2. Iron Man didn't seem to have any physical weaknesses at least when he was in his suit. Tony Stark repeatedly said that his technology was the most advanced in the world. Iron Man's weakness was his personality. Despite all the strengths and weaknesses, there is always something a person values in life. For Tony Stark it was definitely the people close to him. It often seemed like he was all about money and fame, and was never good at relationships, but he was true to his friends and acquaintances, in a way. In Iron Man Tony confessed to his personal assistant Pepper Potts that she was all he had. At the conclusion of the movie Iron Man 2, the stage was set for the beginning of Tony and Pepper's relationship. Stark was also frequently helped by his friend James Rhodes who seemed to be really close to him. Even though it was hard to see, Tony

For two days he wanders in New York and meets different people. Everything is described through Holden's perspective. Holden had quite complex character. He sometimes acts like a 13-year-old but in the same time he can be quite reasonable. Holden´s mood swings and trastic changes of feelings could even could mean that he had somekind of bipolar disorder. He could literally hate a person in one second and love in the next. He criticises others alot for being phony. Only persone he really seemed to be fond of was his little sister Phoebe. The book has a slightly depressing undertone because Holdens thougts about the situation he was in and his surroundings were often very gloomy. The lousy hotel where he stayed was probably the gloomiest part of the book. The author uses slang and repeats often same words which is essentially quite similar to something that a teenager would do. This does not make, however, the text duller but makes it more lifelike.

Class and social status in Pride and Prejudice

The main characters are influenced by that on numerous occasions. Mr. Darcy, of noble descent, finds it hard at first to cope with the relatives and social status of the woman he falls in love with, Elizabeth. He goes as far as mentioning his superiority to her in his first marriage proposal, as was described in the novel. "His sense of her inferiority -of its being a degradation- of the family obstacles which judgment had always opposed to inclination, were dwelt on with warmth which seemed due to the consequence he was wounding, but was very unlikely to recommend his suit." This may show that Mr. Darcy had zero comprehension of politeness, but it can also serve as a proof of the deep-rooted understandings of equal fortune and class between the ones who tie the knot in the 19th century. Obviously marriage was not the only point that was affected by the class divisions. A conversation carried out by the representative of a great titled family and the members of

She liked to do things that other girls on her age never would do. That pretty much says the basic things about her. Oliver parents were weirder than Oliver. They rarely talked to each other. Easter traditions in Estonia

Easter traditions in Estonia Easter traditions are rather young in Estonia. Our grandmothers took the eastern habits from BalticGermans without taking over the meanings painted eggs just seemed so beautiful. So for us, their grandchildren, painting eggs has no connection with religion traditions. It is more like a way of expressing one's creativity. We use different colors and techniques: painting with herbs, watercolors, markers, special colors etc. There aren't any certain patterns to use, everyone can do it any way they like. We also give colored eggs as presents to friends and children are cracking the eggs.

Secondly, the figure was cracked and it did not look like the one on the advertisement. The engraved message I chose was also wrong and misspelled. The plaque surface where the message was engraved was scratched and silver but it should have been golden, like it was written in the advertisement. Thirdly, it was mentioned that each figure comes on a wooden stand but mine was on a plastic stand and I noticed some trace of glue, this seemed quite careless. Furthermore, it was wrapped up very carelessly and there were many little pieces in the box. They were very dangerous for children. The beautiful China Figure turned out to be an awful cracked figure. As you can imagine, I am very disappointed. I didn't expect to be betrayed by your company and now I feel I am entitled to a refund in addition to an apology for the inconvenience caused. I look forward to receiving a prompt reply. Yours faithfully, Kätlin P.

Should I take revenge on him? But what was he guilty of? He seemed so weak and defenceless. And I wanted to protect him." artifacts remain, but few written records were left behind. The recorded history of Scotland begins with the arrival of the Roman Empire in Britain, when the Romans occupied what is now broadly England, Wales and the Scottish Lowlands, administering it as a Roman province called Britannia. To the north was territory not governed by the Romans -- Caledonia, by name. Its people were the Picts. From a classical historical viewpoint Scotland seemed a peripheral country, slow to gain advances filtering out from the Mediterranean fount of civilisation, but as knowledge of the past increases it has become apparent that some developments were earlier and more advanced than previously thought, and that the seaways were very important to Scottish history. Because of the geographical orientation of Scotland and its strong reliance on trade routes by sea, the kingdom held close links in the south and east with the Baltic countries, and

This holiday was exciting to me, I hope you like it too! This summer I went to paris. We choose this place because this seemed lika a intresting place. The climate is quite similar to Estonian climate. Paris was a lot different, there isn't a lot nature, because it's a big city, you can see a lot of big buildings and beutiful old town. When we were there we went to Eiffel tower and the view was spetacular. Also we went to Disneyland amusement park, it was a lot of fun. I really recomend you to go to Paris too, because there you can have a lot of new experiences. Now you know what my trip was like,

The Damned Thing Summary

He visited Hugh to shoot and fish. After greeting each other they began to hunt for deers and reached a field of wild oats where they hid behind a rock because Hugh saw something moving in the oats. Suddenly William heard a shot and everything was covered in smoke. Hugh had pulled the trigger, but there was nothing in the field. After that William heard two extremely different voices: a scream like that of a wild animal and Morgan crying out as if in mortal agony. He gazed at Hugh and it seemed like his body was split into pieces. When he approached the body, his companion was dead. The jury can't believe that an invisible force could do something like that, so one juror asks: „From what asylum did you escape?“ The witness feels insulted by that comment and starts to leave. Just before going out of the door he sees coroner reading the victim's diary and asks for a permission to reveal Morgan's writings, but the coroner denies his request. At the end of the meeting jury decides

like how different plants grow together for their mutual benefit -- and applies them to other systems like, well, group housing. Ms. Berger and Ms. Hazard had had collective living experiences before, in upstate New York and Oregon, and they connected over what they had learned there, as well as over the creeping dread both were feeling about returning home to New York City. "If we could envision it," Ms. Berger said, "we thought we could build it." Energetic, cheerful and outgoing, they seemed very nicely matched, in this reporter's opinion anyway, and a pretty terrific catch for just about anyone. But early last week, they still had no firm prospects and, more important, no house. The two were barely sleeping, they said; the reporter fretted over them. Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, a similar scenario was being enacted. There, three roommates already had their house, a funky Victorian in the Cedar Park neighborhood, but needed five more.

Review: Educating Rita

Thanks to the efforts and sacrifices Rita is able to achieve what she was wanting. The film ends as Frank is sent to Australia and Rita realises that the life with education has the same problems. I think that this film is for everybody. It speaks about finding yourself and about desire to find and develope yourself, which can come anytime, at age 15 or at age 55. For kids under 15 it could be a bit difficult to understand because it is with deep thought. At first the film seemed dull, but when the story developed, then it was interesting and enthralling. I never found it funny, but it was catching. Sometimes it was even a little romantic. The film ended differently than I hoped. I thought that Susan and Frank will stay together and fly to Australia, make family. I hoped to see happy ending and how Susan would run after Frank and shout: ,,Wait for me! I will come with you, I love you, Frank!" but it did not happen, so I was a bit disapointed

not fall asleep until 3 in the morning, and so i do not have the time to go outside in the early mornings. Life has a habit of presenting us with obstacles which are not easy to surpass. Also, we end up in situations where we feel rage, anger, sadness and other feelings. Yet we remember the moments that are filled with gladfulness, warmth, tenderness and other nice feelings. This year, i met with a person, who still comes to mind time and again. There was this girl, very short and cute. It seemed like she didn't care about anything, but yet she was still a person, a person with her own interests. I can remember a moment, when i felt happy. We sat in her room and had a conversation about all kinds of things. Suddenly, i noticed, that my i had put my hand around her, not very hard, but gently and quietly. At that moment, we sat there quietly, and didn't say anything to eachother. Just when i had thought, that now i am happy, someone opened the door, it was her

best dance career for him but this means it has to be considered with Billys parents. Due to the reason Billy has no mother and his father is really oldfashioned, this is the point where it gets difficult. Billys life is about to fall apart again. All the actors of this movie are extraordinarily talented and I got really carried away by this story. Billy was a tough kid and managed to convince his father to trust him and Ms Wilkinson about ballet. They softened even his fathers heart that seemed pretty unconvinceable at the first place. Even though I knew it was just a movie I found myself hoping it's all going to be fine and Billy will find a place to belong. Billys grandmother (Jean Heywood), who he was supposed to taka care of, and his dad Jackie (Gary Lewis) played their parts really touchingly and caused all kinds of different emotions. These images of ballet performed by Billy are some still stuck in my mind.
