Charles Church By Annabel Peterson Charles Chruch is a Lutheran church in the centre of Tallinn, on Tõnismägi hill. It is architecturally the most magnificent out of all Estonian sacred buildings in the 19th century, also Charles congregation is currently the largest in Estonia by the number of members. It was originally built in the 17th century, during the time of Swedish rule, when king Charles XI commissioned the construction of a church for the Estonian and Finnish population in 1670. Ma küll olen teda ka enne laval näinud, kuid selles tükis suutis ta oma käriseva hääle eriti hästi mängima panna. Kui mees lavale astus, siis esimesena jäi mulle silma tema eriti stiilne välimus. Uskumatu kui palju võib sellise pealtnäha ebaolulise nõksuga, nagu riietus, täppi panemine juurde anda. Mustad teksapüksid, must t-särk ning selle peal kärtspunane pintsak ja kõige tipuks veel ka punane king. Justnimelt king, sest ühes jalas kandis Oja musta plastmassist toestust. Minu esimene küsimus oli kohe, et huvitav, kas tal ka teine king kaasas oli? Ma ei usu… Näitleja silmapaistva välimuse tõi veel rohkem esile praktiliselt tühi lava, millel olid vaid tool ja laud ning sellel omakorda veepudel.
