I talking about that, why horse would be better than car. With horse you can run on everywhere, without damaging the ground. A horse dont need any fuel like cars, only food, water, and some vitamins. Horse does not emit toxic lead or carbon monoxide which can cause diseases on people and animals. But with horse you cant drive so fast and long distances like with car. Horse causes no traffic jam, he does not need to be managed traffic light since it travels with much slower speed and can stop faster than car. But of horse you must take more care than car. Car may stay in garage a long time, nothing happening with that, but horse often needs food and takeing more care.

Philosophy Today The Great Divide Most contemporary philosophers follow one of two approaches "Continental" philosophy "Analytic" philosophy Continental philosophy is more influential on the European continent Analytic philosophy is predominant in the major research universities in the English-speaking world Analytic Philosophy Analytic philosophy developed from attempts in the early 20th century to make our concepts precise. The model of this procedure was science. Emphasis in contemporary analytic philosophy is on language and meaning, and meaning is understood as a relation between language and objective reality. Thus, understanding the structure of language is what reveals the structure of reality. Continental Philosophy At the same time that analytic philosophy was emerging, E. The Future of Education The future of education is not very promising for younger generations. The face of education is changing rapidly because of direct injection of computer technology into schools. Online courses soon will prevail over the traditional high school and college education. Online Universities will create classes sponsored by companies. These companies will direct the universities on the materials of the course. The company will then offer those who pass the course a job. This will create a worker who will not be able to do his job without a computer. Teachers will take a backseat in these courses. There is also a chance that Teachers will have an easier job in the future, they will instruct the students only if needed. Also on the horizon are smart objects. These objects are geared more to small children then those that are in high school or college. Objects with animations such as building blocks that can talk and l...
The highest result of education is tolerance Ladies and gentleman! Today I will discuss a topic what is opened by a quote by beautiful Helen Keller: The highest result of education is tolerance. Today is the day you will understand that her quote is accurate. So I should probably start with a question. Why should we be tolerant to weird kids at school? Does anybody in this room know why?........Okay, let's just drop that question for now, we'll come back to it later. If I would ask you Where do we get our education from you all would probably say: From schools duuuh! But what is a school? Tallinn English College? Yeah, it is a school with all those fancy numbers with what you can become successful........but the greatest education comes from the life school where we learn about other people's views and thoughts. And when those views happen to have even a slight difference from our own then we start a discussion ...
There should be compulsory school subjects. Students should be allowed to choose the subjects they want to study. Do you agree? Essay There are many different subjects in school. Most of them are compulsory. Students have to learn them, even if they are not interested. Perhaps they should be allowed to choose subjects that they want to study. On one hand I think that subjects shoudn't be compulsory in high school because peolple should concentrate on the subjects that will be useful for them in the future. For example: for a person who wants to study Polish philology, maths and physics may not be important. Students should be given the opportunity to take their future into their own hands. So choosing a subject for student who hae had first hand decisions on what to do in high schools will be determinated for them and their career. ...

together, the early discussions tended to be dominated by the facile English-speakers: the British, the Dutch and the Irish. Now the company require that a certain level of skills in English is a prerequisite for joining an EMAT, and team members are being trained to learn how to adapt different cultures. Kuigi 3Mis on ainult 150 ameeriklast väljaspool Ameerika Ühendriike (isegi Suurbritannias on ainult kuus ameeriklasest töötajat), on siiski EMATi keeleks inglise keel. Kuna need olid esimesed ametlikud vahendid erinevatest rahvustest noorematel töötajatel kokku saamiseks, siis esmaseid arutlusi domineerisid vabalt inglise keelt kõnelejad: britid, hollandlased ja iirlased. Nüüdseks firma nõuab kindlalt tasemel inglise keele oskust eeldusel EMATiga ühinemisel, ja meeskonnaliikmeid õpetatakse kohalduma erinevate kultuuridega. The future depends on how well the company has learnt to adapt to change. One of the greatest
At the time when Columbus discovered America, there were about 10 million Native Americans. During the next 200 years, people from several European countries sailed across the Atlantic to settle the New World. Native Americans suffered from the hands of the new settlers. A many educated people from Ireland, like teachers or doctors, left their country and came to America. They wrote letters to their families, where they said that America was full of new opportunities for everybody. In the middle of the 19th century many British people started they journey to America from Liverpool. A great number of settlers were the Irish who left their country after the Irish Potato Famine on 1845-1849, when families lost their main food, the potato crop. Every person should train each day Many people are training every day and the other people just watch and ask ,,Isn't that bad?". Yes, there are negative things about that, but mostly it is because you work out too hard and then the good things fade away. The biggest positive thing about training is that your body looks good. You feel more comfortable in it when you know you've worked very hard to get it. Another good thing about training every day is that you feel more energized. Usually you wake up in the morning and feel very tired, but when you go on a daily run, it wakes you up and you feel a lot better during the day. Some people think that it is bad for your health to train daily, but I disagree. Studies have shown that people who train are more healthy and they don't get ill as often as other people. There might be few negative things when you train each day, but it's usually because peopl...

Lying is a natural and inevitable part of any good relationship Most relationship experts note honesty as number one requirement to have a happy and successful relationship. Somehow many people seem to disagree. After all, if it was all that simple, why would anyone lie? Don't they want to be happy? Perhaps reality is not that straightforward. Sometimes telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is the worst thing to be done. From time to time truth can be hurtful. Noone wants to hear that they look exceptionally bad today, especially when they really do. A little fiction can save the day for everyone. Furthermore truth can be so complicated that noone really knows , what is real and what is not. Particularly when it concernes human emotions. There is no certainity, everything changes in time, and what is said genuinely today may become a lie tomorrow. People can be upset, sad or angry and say somethi...

Reasons why people work In today's society it is known that people work because they need money to live. As Leonardo da Vinci said " God sells us all things at the price of labour " and unfortunately it tends to be true. However, there are still some of the other reason why people work. As Mothet Teresa said " Work without love is slavery" and fortunately there are many people in world who work because they love what they do. For example artists, musicians and actors do not earn a lot of money, however they can give the world something we need- entertainment. In addition to musicians, actors, and artists there are many other sincere, thoughtful and open-minded people who find time in addition to their daily work to help those who need help giving food to homeless people, helping children who are left without parents and taking care for the animals in the shelter. These people are doing this without ...

Are mistakes necessary for discovery and progress? It is often questioned whether making mistakes help people to progress and make discoveries. I personally think that there is no need to make mistakes in order to develop themselves, but it is often an efficient way of finding out something new which can help people to make progress on whatever that is worked on. It is often the mistake that tell us what is wrong or what needs to be corrected. Through correcting any mistakes that are made and learning from those errors, deffinitely help to make progress. Homework that teachers give to students are a good example, like submitting something to your teacher and getting it back later with corrections. By carefully analyzing the mistakes made in the work, many important discoveries which might be ignored before would be noticed that can later help to progress in something. What can also be brought up as a good example is analyzing...

Chartier vs White Roger Chartier analüüsib Hayden White'i raamatut "Metahistory. The Historical Imagination in Nineteenth-Century Europe" ning esitab White'le oma tekstiga mõned küsimused.

It is a contact sport which requires padding such as shoulder pads, gloves, helmets, elbow pads, and sometimes even rib guards History Lacrosse, a relatively popular team sport in the Americas, may have developed as early as AD 1100. By the seventeenth century it was well- established and had been documented by Jesuit priests, although the game has undergone many modifications since that time. In the traditional aboriginal Canadian version, each team consisted of about 100 to 1,000 men on a field that stretched from about 500 meters to 3 kilometers long. These lacrosse games lasted from sunup to sundown for two to three days straight. These games were played as part...
Friends have more influence than family A lot of peole think, that teenagers care more about their friends than family. Some in the other hand, don't. But why do people even think, that teenagers have more influence than family? For sure, children love their parents and parents love them. Family always wants the best for the child and every child should appreciate that. Parents can always help the child, for example when the child is making wrong decisions in life. Parents know you the best, and in my mind, it's necessary to have you family influence the most. In the other hand, friends, who are at the same age and who are giving you the help with making decisions in life, can't guaratnee that their information is the best. When you are at young age, definitely family has more influence than friends. You haven't found out the real and fake friends. The more you grow, the more you get to know people and their skill of being a good friend...
