Today the crater floor is occupied by an ephemeral freshwater lake, recent sedimentary deposits, and minor lava flows and domes from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Layered tephra deposits are visible along the northwestern crater rim. Active fumaroles, or steam vents, still exist in the caldera. Archaeology: Pompeii of the East 7.In 2004, scientists discovered the remains of a village, and two adults buried under approximately 3 meters (nearly 10 feet) of ash in a gully on Tambora's flank--remnants of the former Kingdom of Tambora preserved by the 1815 eruption that destroyed it. The similarity of the Tambora remains to those associated with the AD 79 eruption of Mount Vesuvius has led to the Tambora site's description as "the Pompeii of the East." 8. Open sandwiches When you order a sandwich, don’t be surprised if it involves just a single slice of bread. The concept of open sandwiches dates back to the 15th century when thick slabs of bread were used as plates. In Sweden, the shrimp sandwich (räksmörgås) remains the option fit for a king. Piled high with a mix of boiled egg slices, lettuce, tomato and cucumber, this seafood snack is often topped with creamy blended with dill sprigs and roe. Christophine introduces Antoinette to the black culture of the Caribbean and instills in her a sensitivity to nature and belief in the practices of obeah. She is an outsider because she dresses and speaks differently from the Jamaican blacks. She is a servant, but, unlike the other black servants who live at Coulibri, she remains loyal to the Cosway women. She provides a contrast to Annette because she exercises complete independence from men and distrusts their motives. Although she has three children by three different fathers, Christophine remains unmarried, saying “I thank my God. I keep my money. I don´t give it to no worthless man“. Times and rules change and in consequence, women change too. This novel is the evidence

1644. Following Victorian trends, the grounds and adjoining Loch Fyvie were landscaped in the 19th century. The American industrialist Alexander Leith bought the castle in 1885. It was sold to the National Trust for Scotland in 1984 by his descendants. The castle (like many Scottish castles) is said to be haunted. A story is told that in 1920 during renovation work the skeleton of a woman was discovered behind a bedroom wall. On the day the remains were laid to rest in Fyvie cemetery, the castle residents started to be plagued by strange noises and unexplained happenings. Fearing he had offended the dead woman, the Laird of the castle had the skeleton exhumed and replaced behind the bedroom wall, at which the haunting ceased.Today, the castle is open to tourists during the summer months. indefinitely, how will that change the dynamics of society and culture? A typical person living to 80 years of age goes through several dramatic changes in his lifetime: his opinions and attitudes change, his interests, his friends, his career, sometimes even how he remembers the past. Imagine how much change would take place in a thousand years of life! We wouldn’t be a shadow of the persons we once were. The idea of living forever remains locked to science-fiction. I believe there are many different aspects to take into consideration . Secondly let’s have a look at the advantages. I think that one key benefit to being around forever would be the experience gained during this eternity. Anything and everything on our list of "to-do" could be completed - whether that would be traveling to far-off destinations and around the world, experiencing exotic tastefull foods or sleeping 20 hours a day.

For the diode to conduct the current must be above zero. Therefore . If the dunction generator voltage drops below assigned reference voltage the diode stops conducting and the output remains 6 volts. In reverse biased, , where is the reference voltage and UVD is the voltage drop on diode. Is Honesty Always the Best Policy?

Dispite their acceptance of white lies, lying is not a good policy. I agree that honesty is the the best policy in a relationship. Children are teached early at school and home that lies are bad and they should not do it. Despite this, I believe that without very small lies, we can not cope with life. I am quite sure that there are no such people who never lies. I do not agree with large lies, which can harm someone. I agree that honesty is good, but often it remains unpaid. For example, few weeks ago I found phone on the stairs at school. I decided to bring it to teacher. The result was that I was not thanked by the teacher and was I late in physics lesson . After that, I was not particularly happy that I did a favor to somebody. In conclusion, i belive that honesty is good and necessary but without small lies, like you look good, even if he does not, we cant make it. I think that honesty is best policy but not always.

Books have been around for a couple hunder years for now, but there aren't any remains left of the first ever books because of the rarity when the first book was realased. First books ever were written by hand and that's the reason why there were so few of them. Thanks to the invention of the printing press books became more common and accesable for everyday people. After that came the printer but the next big step up was the invention of the e-books and portable screens that could almost outweigh regular books in every aspect possible. But

Film review

Life there consists of routine, and again from the routine, and everyone is their own. But thanks to Andy their life becomes meaningful again. Andy Dufresne - an intelligent, educated, kind, patient and intelligent young man. At first, it seems to us that it is nothing special in itself is not that fast breaks, but this is only a first impression. The film was nominated for seven awards "Oscar", but, unfortunately, but have not got anyone, but despite this, it still remains the best for me. I especially liked the one phrase in the movie "Hope - the best of things. It never dies" and its slogan "Fear - is shackles. Hope - is freedom". I would definitely recommend watching this awesome film.

the River Wye, is the oldest surviving post-Roman stone fortification in Britain. Its construction was begun under the instruction of the Norman Lord William fitzOsbern, soon made Earl of Hereford, from 1067, and it was the southernmost of a chain of castles built along the English-Welsh border in the Welsh Marches. The castle ruins are Grade I listed as at 6 December 1950 Chester castle In the City of Chester near the Racecourse and River, on the border with Wales. The remains of Chester castle stand on a low hill within a bend of the River Dee, just a stones-throw from the border with Wales. Although this once-mighty fortress has been obscured by newer buildings there is still enough of the ancient fabric left to entertain the interested visitor.

Raphael Sanzio

Raphael Sanzio Raphael (April 6 or March 28, 1483 April 6, 1520) was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance. Raphael was enormously productive, running an unusually large workshop. Most of his work remains especially in the Vatican. He received his first training from his father, Giovanni Santi, who was a poet and a painter. After that he became a student and assistant of the painter Perugino. Raphael imitated his master closely and sometimes it is difficult to distinguish which works are painted by Raphael. His work at that period is Marriage of the Virgin (1.) Metallica

Metallica esimene avalik esinemine toimus 1982 Anaheimis Radio Citys. Kaks aastat tegutses bänd Los Angelese galm metali areenil, millest aga sai villand. Metallica mehed kolisid San Franciscosse, Kus ansambli bassimeheks sai Burton. Sealt edasi mindi New Yorki, et lindistada debüütalbumi materjali. 1983 ilmuski esikplaat "Kill ´Em All". See oli kiire, energiline ja lihtsameelne; Mustaine'i asemel mängis juba Kirk Hammett. Aastal 1986 läks Metallica esimesele suurele Euroopareisile. Rootsis aga juhtus õnnetus: tuuribuss sõitis libedalt teelt välja ning Cliff Burton sai silmapilkselt surma. Looks - how important

being served by a little stinky dude, who dresses into informal dirty clothes? I couldn´t. If look was not important, there would not be loads of etiquette rules. What if look would not be important? I do not even have to generate theories. I know people, who do not think about necessity of taking care of their look. I can see them every day. Somehow they do not aware their problem. How can anyone ever feel comfortable with dirty clothes, untidy skin and fetid body? This secret remains to be under disgusting cover. In conclusion I would say that look is really important! No matter what is being achieved, look has a solid role in result! Of course if people did not care of the way they look, some doors would be closed, but life still would worth living!

From within, admire vaulted roofs and brightly decorated colonnades, from outside marvel at the slender tower, topped with Renaissance spire (added in 1627), reaching 64m towards the ether. The economy benefits from strong electronics and telecommunications sectors. Estonia has been a member of the European Union from May 2004. The economy is greatly influenced by developments in Finland, Sweden, Russia, and Germany, four major trading partners. The high current account deficit remains a concern. Main industries in Estonia are engineering, electronics, wood and wood products, textile and information technology and telecommunications. The main ports and harbours in Estonia are in Haapsalu, Kunda, Muuga, Paldiski, Pärnu and Tallinn. There is about 10,000 km of paved streets/roads/highways and about 41,000 km of unpaved roads.
