What makes me estonian?

What makes me Estonian? It’s simple, I was born and therefore registered here - in Estonia. My passport can prove that, but if I’m honest, those are just the formalities. There’s much more to being Estonian than just a simple number or letter on a piece of paper. I find that there are a few very specific and quite odd reasons and traits that define me as an estonian. The first of many would be my quote unquote obsession with our language. Every time I meet a foreigner or i need to talk about estonia, I cant leave out mentioning how difficult and complex our language is

Diana Ostrat Essey How does the United States influence Estonia? The United States of America with it's global economic and political superpower is one of the most influential countries in the world and therefore it’s influence can also be felt in Estonia. TRAVELLING tööleht

Exercise 8. Read the following text and answer the question WHY? Don't fly tomorrow. This is a story about Jack Frazer and David Holliday who started to work at the same factory in London on the same day thirty years ago. Jack started to work as a clerk. He was very hard-working, and after thirty years he became the managing director. He was a good, generous employer, but he wanted everyone to work as hard as he himself did. He couldn’t tolerate anyone who was lazy or who didn’t do his job properly. David Holliday started work as the night-watchman. He was happy in his job and didn’t want to change it. He had never liked crowds of people and he didn’t like noise. The job was perfect for him. At night the machines were silent and he worked alone. Six nights of the week he turned up for work as the other employees went home

Freedom of speech

Freedom of speech Freedom of speech is a wide speared conception. I can understand it in many different ways. For example in my state, Estonia, the freedom is a very important for every human. At least to me it is seemed to be like that. But at school is a little bit sad story with freedom of speech. Some teachers are not used that student expresses her own strong opinion. When another way some teachers are just waitening it. As well as people can not speak along with state public topics and express their opinion. Therefore freedom of speech is debateable.
