How to choose glasses for a child Lota Aadla OP 1 Tallinna Tervishoiu Kõrgkool 2015 When do you need to visit the oculist with your child for the first time? At the beginning of the first year as it is possible to correct the child´s eyesight. What glasses should you choose for your child? For children: a frame could be closer to the face, a frame could be at a smaller angle than glasses for adults, a frame should rest on both ears and nose equally. Flexible glasses for younger children are a great opportunity to get used to them.
A lot of people have their own hobby some of them like it and some of them don't like their hobby. I think if you don't like your hobby, then it's a waste of time. In addition, hobbies can be very different- some people make music, some people do sports, some are collecting marks or something. In my opinion there are some hobbies what are totally waste of time. Like playing video games. They steal you free time and don't give you anything, maybe only bad eyesight. Hobbies like basketball, football, running are very good, it gives you something good body or gives strenght to live, work for something. To sum up, i think that hobby is not waste of time if it is more like a lifestyle, but surely, there are some hobbies what are totally waste of time, but it is only my opinion. Carmen Verhovits 10A
There are three subspecies of emus in Australia. They are soft-feathered, brown and they reach up to 2meters. The feather structure prevents heat from flowing into the skin, permitting Emus to be active during the midday heat. Emus can live between 10 and 20 years. They have long legs and they can sprint at 50 km/h. They feed on a variety of plants and insects and they drink seldom, and they may travel long distances to find food. They are endowed with good eyesight and hearing. Interesting facts Emus ingest stones to grind food in the digestive system. Females can mate several times and lay several batches of eggs in one season People growns emus on farm to get emus meat, feathers and emu oil. Emu fat is rendered to produce oil for cosmetics, dietary supplements, and therapeutic products. A baby Emu Klõpsake juhtslaidi teksti laadide redigeerimiseks Teine tase Kolmas tase
computers for their school subjects. I believe that it is a good thing to have such an opportunity, but I don't think they should use computers for every school subject. Firstly, it is not necessary to have computers in every class. It is normal to have computers in Information Technology classroom, where students learn to use computers for their own good. Sitting in front of a computer screen all day, every day, is bad for students' health, it can damage their eyesight. Also, it will be too expensive. It would be difficult to buy computers for every student. Setting up and updating the software will create additional costs. If schools buy too many computers, there may not be left money to pay salaries for the teachers. Will it ensure the high quality of teaching? On the other hand, we are living in the 21st century and nowadays everything is done with computers. Computers can be convenient and useful. For example, they can help
Once numbering in the millions, the African elephant population has dwindled to between 470,000 and 690,000 individuals because of people hunting them for their tusks. The elephant is now a protected species worldwide, also the hunting and trading of ivory has been banned to protect them. The Rhinoceros, often colloquially abbreviated rhino, lives in Africa. They eat grass and plants. Rhinoceros also have acute hearing and sense of smell, but poor eyesight. However, they are hunted for their horns. To protect them, the selling of rhino horns has been banned and their areas are guarded.
On the one hand children can study new things, it expands their horizons and the ability to use computers increases, which may be useful in the future, when they are going to work. On the other hand computers can be children enemy, as well as for everybody, who do not know the dangers of using computers. Many people use computers and some of them wants to use ohter people, especially small children and teenagers. Using the computer for several hours each day impairs eyesight. All of us should make small pauses during the work. In my opinion children use computers too much and parents should defenitely limit the time, if they want to protect their children. Children also should be informed about the dangers of using computers.

Eurasia and Africa. Outside this area, just two species (the Bald and Golden Eagles) can be found in the USA and Canada, nine more in Central and South America, and three in Australia. Most eagles are very large. The biggest is the sea eagle which can be at 500 grams and 40 cm to 6.7-kg and 100cm. Like all birds of prey, eagles have very large powerful hooked beaks for tearing flesh from their prey, strong muscular legs, and powerful talons. Also have extremely keen eyesight which enables them to spot potential prey from a very long distance. It flies through the air with its very big and powerful wings. Eagles eat a lot of little things what can't get away. For example: mice's, fish, little baby animals and snakes. In the wild, Bald Eagles typically live about 20-30 years, but can realize a life span of approximately 50 years. They generally live longer in captivity, up to 60 years. Kotkas

Was he alone? What were he`s last words?" We can never know what were he`s last thoughts or what he was feeling before death but we always wish that he died peacefully. Finally the wounded ones, who have to live with their injuries for the rest of their lives. In war there are so many people who have had many serious injuries and some of them have even lost one or even all the limbs. They have to live with these injury`s for the rest of their lives. Some soldiers have lost even their eyesight or have become paralyzed, because of the serious injuries they have had. In conclusion, every person who has been in the war has had some injuries, most of them are physical and some are mental. In war you can always find some soldiers who are unwounded, but you can`t see inside of them. Every soldier who has been in the war has a traumatic memory what he does not want to remember. These traumatic memories can get very tragic and quite often
every half an hour when using smart devices. Another disease which can be caused by the blue light radiation is Macular Degeneration Disease. Macula is located in retina and the image that is focused on the retina is the sharpest in macula. This is the reason why macula can not be damaged at all to have a correct visual acuity. Blue light damages the light-sensitive cells in retina. Macular degeneration disease can lead to permanent loss of eyesight. Both of these diseases can not be cured but it is possible to prevent them. The best prevention would be to avoid the use of smart devices. If there is a need to look at the screen for longer period the screen light should be adjusted to lower level. Another important thing is to blink the eyes to keep them moistured. Also, there are programs for computers and smartphones designed specifically to protect the eyes from blue light radiation. It is also possible to buy

Jane agreed going to India, but refused marring his cousin. One night Jane heard Rochester’s voice calling her name and decided to visit him and head back to the Thornfield. She found out that the Thornfield had burned down. She found out that Rochester’s wife died during the fire and Rochester lost his eyesight and one of his hands, saving the servants. Jane traveled to Rochester’s new residence, Ferndean, where he lived with two servants named John and Mary. At Ferndean Jane and Rochester got to together once again. At the end of the story Jane and Rochester married and had their first son. Rochester also regained sight in one eye. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was always interesting and exiting. I think that the most exiting part of the book was, when Jane heard that
"But I don't get it!" she said after some minutes of silence, "How did this happen? I mean...are you its...err...well, you know!" The man stared wide eyed at the blushing girl who obviously wanted to ask something, but was feeling that this question wasn't very polite. "What is it?" he asked her then. The princess turned her eyes off him and was staring at the library door now. The man got closer to her. "Your highness..." he whispered, but no answer was given. She didn't even turn her eyesight to him. Then the man smiled and said as gently as he could, "Eliza..." The princess blushed even deeper now and turned slowly her head. Eyes still low she said," Are you his father, Edward de la Valjerio?" The man wanted to laugh and cry at the same moment, but then he suddenly hugged her and a gentle kiss was exchanged. A tear fell down on the princess's white knee - length dress. She wanted to protest this is how she was raised, but...something in this man's eyes moved her heart. And as
Jane agrees to go to India but refuses to marry her cousin because she does not love him. St. John pressures her to reconsider, and she nearly gives in. However, she realizes that she cannot abandon forever the man she truly loves when one night she hears Rochester’s voice calling her name over the moors. Jane immediately hurries back to Thornfield and finds that it has been burned to the ground by Bertha Mason, who lost her life in the fire. Rochester saved the servants but lost his eyesight and one of his hands. Jane travels on to Rochester’s new residence, Ferndean, where he lives with two servants named John and Mary. At Ferndean, Rochester and Jane rebuild their relationship and soon marry. At the end of her story, Jane writes that she has been married for ten blissful years and that she and Rochester enjoy perfect equality in their life together. She says that after two years of blindness, Rochester regained sight in one eye and was able

The door of the ancient building fell apart when the man came nearer to it. Somewhat he felt uncomfortable while entering the sacred place. "Weird," he said quietly "I`ve been to many churches before, but this place...it doesn`t remind me of any stile we`ve studied in the Royal Palace... Very interesting indeed...At first the cursed Devil`s Field and now what? A sanctuary of the Demons?" And the truth it was, because instead of the holy pictures, only war scenes were waiting for his eyesight. Enchanted by the scenary, he totally forgot that the village was still burning and so was the old church. Suddenly, a baby`s dreadful cry awakened his mind and a woman`s quiet pray to the Satan echoed in the huge room. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" asked the soldier in a loud voice "It`s okay to come out now the demons are all gone!" "What?" a weak voice from the shadows asked "They are gone? But...oh!" And a deep cry filled with hopeless despair filled the air.
TV prevents children from creating their abilities. They get accustomed to TV to such an extent that they watch it all the time. To force their children away from their favourite evening programmes to their homework has eventually become the main problem of the parents of different countries. Moreover, TV is damaging for health. It has bad effect on the eyes, particularly of children. The physicians proved that if children do not watch TV their eyesight improves. But if children do not watch TV they find themselves without anything to talk about at school, where comedians and singing stars are major topics during breaks between classes. The same is true about some adults. Sometimes TV programmes become the topics of common interest of the people and without, them they have nothing to talk about. Nowadays some people in our country watch television programmes from about six in the morning to the early hours of the next day
On the other hand, there are a lot of disadvantages. TV is a waste of time and also may cause different symptoms of many illnesses. TV programmes show a violence at cartoons and other programmes which a available for children too. Watching TV can limit childrens imagination and also can effect their behavior in a negative way. On TV, there are also many movies, which present violence, but are not suitable and healthy to whatch for children, neither adults. TV is damaging a eyesight and I think that is the main reason that people should watch TV lower. In conclusion, I think that people should limit watching TV and spend their free time by reading, doing gardening, handicraft TELEVISIOON ON TÄNAPÄEVAL VÄGA POPULAARNE. The old Countess Anna Fedotovna, a truly extravagant relic of the eighteenth century, belongs among the most remarkable of Pushkin's creations. Her real life model was Princess Nataliia Petrovna Golitsyna, whom Pushkin knew personally (see figure 2). The princess served as a lady-in-waiting to five generations of Russian em- perors and was ninety-two years old at the time Pushkin wrote his tale. She was an avid gambler, and because of her failing eyesight, a deck of large-format cards was kept for her at the court.36 Once, her grandson, S. G. Golitsyn, had lost a large sum at cards and came to his grandmother to beg for money. Instead of money, the princess told him of the three winning cards that Saint-Germain had once revealed to her in Paris. The grandson bet on them and regained his loss.37 Vinogradov offered a more plausible explanation of the uncanny denouement; he cast the mysterious intrusion of the queen of spades at the end
To get them, humans produced dietary supplements. Dietary supplements are mostly used in sports as an extra resource with food, to get better results or increase muscle mass. The most popular supplements are creatine and protein. Creatine is a substance which gives muscles energy. Protein is a substance, which helps muscles grow and recover. Vitamines are also necessary for human body, that can be used as dietary supplements. They help regulate metabolism, inside glands activity, maintain eyesight, prevent exhaustion and strengthen health and performance. Today, there are a lot of different dietary supplements for every sport in Estonian market, so every person can choose something that fits for them and buy it from internet or a shop and easily find the right manual and other useful stuff. "Does your head hurt? Edward said you hit it pretty hard." "It's fine," I repeated with a sigh, throwing a quick scowl toward Edward. The doctor's cool fingers probed lightly along my skull. He noticed when I winced. "Tender?" he asked. "Not really." I'd had worse. I heard a chuckle, and looked over to see Edward's patronizing smile. My eyes narrowed. "Well, your father is in the waiting room -- you can go home with him now. But come back if you feel dizzy or have trouble with your eyesight at all." "Can't I go back to school?" I asked, imagining Charlie trying to be attentive. "Maybe you should take it easy today." I glanced at Edward. "Does he get to go to school?" "Someone has to spread the good news that we survived," Edward said smugly. "Actually," Dr. Cullen corrected, "most of the school seems to be in the waiting room." "Oh no," I moaned, covering my face with my hands. Dr. Cullen raised his eyebrows. "Do you want to stay?" "No, no
Objection 1 Not every word does name or denote any actual object. First, there are the names of nonexistent items like Pegasus or the Easter Bunny. "Pegasus" does not denote anything, because there is in reality no winged horse for it to denote. (We shall discuss such names at some length in chapter 3.) Or consider pronouns of quantification, as in: (5) I saw nobody. 4 Philosophy of Language It would be a tired joke to take "nobody" as a name and respond, "You must have very good eyesight, then." (Lewis Carroll: "Who did you pass on the road?" . . . "Nobody" . . . " . . . So of course nobody walks slower than you."1 And e. e. cummings' poem "anyone lived in a pretty how town"2 makes little sense to the reader until s/he figures out that cummings is perversely using expressions like "anyone" and "noone" as names of individual persons.) Second, consider a simple subjectpredicate sentence: (6) Ralph is fat.

One of the oldest tricks in the training world, he explained, is to fatigue an athlete prior to their "before" testing with an extensive warm-up, then retest them later with a minimal warm-up. Voilà, instant measurable improvement. Trixy coaches. The Set-Up My times wouldn't depend on DeFranco's eyesight or judgment. We'd be using the Brower system, the same technology used at the "big show" of the Combine. My nish time would be clocked automatically when I passed between two paired laser detectors at the 40-yard line, both of which were synced to his hand-held counter. As a baseline, I ran two 10-yard dashes with no coaching: Dash #1: 2.12 secs. Dash #2: 2.07 secs. Then I impressed Joe with a blistering starting 40-yard dash of ... 5.94 seconds.
