What life might be like a hundred years from now? - essee

What life might be like a hundred years from now? Life nowadays is changing very fast. We are having phones, full on different features, with last ten years, almost every family have their own computer and in some countries everyday food is changed with genetically modified food. But how our life can be changed after hundred years? In 2112, we are living in Earth. We are not using air, because after air pollution, it is dangerous for people to breathe it. We are definitely driving with aircrafts, because we ran out of fuel over 50 years ago. Because Earth is very polluted, there isn't any way to grow food. All food is made in factories from plastic and other chemical stocks, so they are not very healthy. Poor people live only about 20 years old, because people get their vitamins and nutrients, to be live, only from chemist's. All cars are converted to aircrafts. Traffic accidents are not so tragic anymore, even though speed

Mõned respiraatorid ka katta nägu ja silmad.Respiraator võib teid kaitsta vastu hingamise kahjulikke saasteaineid, mis on õhus - kui te kasutate seda õigesti. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO WEAR A RESPIRATOR? Workers doing cleanup or ripout jobs create a lot of dust that gets into the air. This dust is there even if you cannot see it. It may contain mold or chemicals like asbestos or lead. If you breathe in this dust, you might become temporarily or permanently ill. You might become ill right away or sometime in the future. Always wear a respirator for cleanup or ripout jobs. This can prevent harmful substances in the air from getting into your body and making you sick. MIKS on tähtis kulumise respiraator? The environment in realtion to mobility/transport in Europe

Diseases such as bronchitis, lung cancer and heart diseases may all eventually appear in people exposed to air pollution. When the wind blows, then it carries the pollution with him. Futhermore, the rain reduces the pollution. Air pollutants such as ozone, nitrogen oxides, and sulphur dioxide also have harmful effects on natural ecosystem. A clean air supply is essential to our own health and that of the environment. But since the industrial revolution, the quality of the air we breathe has deteriorated considerably - mainly as a result of human activities. The pollutant emissions from road vehicles are regulated separately for light-duty vehicles (cars and light vans) and for heavy-duty vehicles (trucks and buses). It is located in the atmosphere, air pollution is able to travel easily. As a result, air pollution is a global problem and has been the subject of global cooperation and conflict. Some areas now suffer more than others from air pollution

How can we make our cities more environmentally friendly

How can we make our cities more environmentally friendly?

If I walk along the city streets, I feel a terrible smell. That comes from cars. It makes me feel very ill. Then I just have to step on trash, because people can't wait and look for a bin. That's why our streets are so dirty. Everywhere I go, there are always some workmen building big houses. If we improved public transport or made electric cars, our streets wouldn't be so polluted. In Tallinn, for example, the air there is so polluted, that you can hardly breathe there. If the authorities put bins everywhere in the streets, our cities would be cleaner. The second thing is, that people still drop litter on the ground, even if there is a bin somewhere nearby. If we didn't build so much houses all around cities, we could save money from that and better build animal parks, green areas and playgrounds for children. If there were more green areas, people would have more oxygen.

Pros and Cons of Technology

Humans are developing technology every day. What are the benefits and risks that technology can cause to humanity? There are a lot of different fields of technology. It is hard to find a profession where people do not use technology. Thanks to technology, we can make much more work during the day, for example a car, we can get from one town to another much faster with driving than walking. Althought it is good and comfortable for humans, it is not good for the air we breathe because of the exhaust fumes. This is the example to my belief that every technology have pros and cons at the same time. Year by year people are getting used to get their work done by or with technology, that is why i think we may get lazy and do not value what we have to do to get something done. Technology helps us to live longer. Our medicine is on whole next level than it was a century ago. I am sure that in future our average age will raise.

crucial to have a healthy diet and well-balanced meals. Caffeine and alcohol are most certainly not recommended, since they can trigger panic attacks and aggravate anxiety. It has also been said that daily exercise can help people feel happy and maintain their health. When feeling anxious, it is important to pay notice to our breathing. Breathing exercises can quickly reduce anxiety and are easy to learn and remember. One of the most famous ones is to take a breath for five seconds, hold, then breathe out slowly for about seven seconds and repeat it a few times. It is also important to not suffer alone and try to surround ourselves with people. Friends and family are the best support we can get to cope with anxiety.

Environment in Estonia

Environment in Estonia The aim of the report is to discuss environmental issues in Estonia, what kind of problems we have, what causes these problems and what have been done to solve them. Firstly, the main issue is pollution, that is caused by our own carelessness and thoughlessness. In Estonia there are too many old cars and other vehicles, which exhaust fumes that pollute air what we breathe. Although, there are some newer vehicles like busses and cars that contaminate less and even few electric cars, people do not pay enough attention to it. When the levels of pollution are too high, it may cause some serious diseases. The second aspect is that people fell quite a lot of trees, but that is not so big problem. In Estonia there are a lot of forests and groves. Also, people are planting new trees all the time and know abot the importance of green.

Cars should be banned in city centers

city centers. I support this view for a variety of reasons. First and the most important thing is the pollution. Using cars increase the level of pollution in big city centers. This is especially important because town centers always consist of tall buildings and narrow streets which often hold the pollution in one spot.Global warming is big problem all around the world. So, people should use public transport instead of their own car, if they do think about the nature and the air they breathe every second. Secondly, with less traffic there would be fewer accidents. Nowadays many people, especially younger persons, die in the car accidents every week. When we reduce the number of cars in city centers we can avoid these kind of disastrous. Finally, with no cars in town centers there would be no need for large, ugly car parks and parking spaces. This would allow more space for buildings, houses, parks and the movement of buses and people.

These are air pollution, water pollution, endangered animals, deforestation and rubbish. Air pollution Firstly, lets talk about air pollution, which endangeres our life in cities and also the forests near by. Cars and factories blow poisoned gas in the air and it mixes with the oxygen, so the air that we breathe, becomes dangerous to our health. The ozone layer around the Earth, there is a special type of oxygen called ,,ozone". Ozone is important because it stops ultraviolett radiation from the sun. Many aerosol sprays and factories destroy ozone and they have made a very big hole in the ozone layer. This means that too much ultraviolet radiation now enters the Earth. This is very dangerous because it can cause cancer. Poisonous chemicals also

Our bodies use the energy stored in molecules of substances like carbohydrates and protein to move, breathe, grow, and think. We also use energy to do work and to play. Humans have invented thousands of machines and appliances that use energy to make our work easier, to heat our homes, and to get ourselves from place to place. Some of these machines use electricity, while others, like automobiles, use the energy stored in substances such as gasoline. Also your it is a good chance that your social circle can expand here, but in country people live far from each other and don't see so often new faces like in city. The best part about living in a rural area is its quiet mood and the idea of not having to constantly breathe in exhaust fumes, not be part of traffic jams and often hear people honking the horns of their cars or speak loudly. Living in a farm, however, involves a lot of daily labour, such as feeding and cleaning animals that need constant care. In my opinion I prefer living in a city, because here I can quickly communicate with my friends, school is closer and it is handy to live in here. In general, city life is a lot more simple

I think that it somehow works on the power of mind and it gets you exactly where and when you want to be. On the first sight it all looked wonderful, the grass was greener and the air was more easier to breathe of course I was evolved into the famous Central Park. I didn't know where to go or what to do, so I whistled, like they do in the movies, and took a cab. I asked the driver just to drive me around the city and show me what's good around there. EU has abolished national monopolies and has permitted competition. For me the most important thing is air, water and food quality. The EU has introduced compulsory quality standards for the air we breathe, there are quality standards for drinking water as well and EU has forced all food manufacturers to label their products. All member states must follow rules made by EU because the threat to our environment can only be tackled collectively. EU has made our lives easier. Massive deforestation brings with it many ugly consequences-air and water pollution, soil erosion, malaria epidemics, the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the eviction and decimation of indigenous Indian tribes, and the loss of biodiversity through extinction of plants and animals. Fewer rainforests mean less rain, less oxygen for us to breathe, and an increased threat from global warming. But who is really to blame? Consider what we industrialized Americans have done to our own homeland. We converted 90 percent of North America's virgin forests into firewood, shingles, furniture, railroad ties, and paper. Other industrialized countries have done no better. Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, and other tropical countries with rainforests are often branded as

Lichens, mosses and fungi are also particularly sensitive to acid deposition. Acid rain may lead to increases in nitrogen in forests. Nitrogen is important plant nutrient, but it some situations it leads to nitrogen saturation. Nitrates can remove additional calcium and magnesium from the soils. Social effects Humans can become seriously ill, even die from the effects of acid rain. One of the major problems caused in a human being is respiratory problems. Many can find it difficult to breathe, especially people who have asthma. Asthma, along with dry coughs, headaches, and throat irritations can be caused by the sulfur dioxides and nitrogen oxides from acid rain. Acid rain can be absorbed by both plants (through soil and/or direct contact) and animals (from things they eat and/or direct contact). When humans eat these plants or animals, the toxins inside of the things they eat can affect them. It can cause brain damage, kidney problems and even Alzheimer's disease.

I said “I Love You Too” and you were taking to my hand. Now were standing here again, I' asking you if, where and when I see you again. But your answer is that “ No, no more” did I here you right, I'm not sure. I can't beleave you said goodbye to me, I'm shocked and I can't breathe, you were only playing with me. I trusted you and I loved you, but it was all a lie and I, I want to die. 'Couse you, you broke my heart, you broke me all apart. Ant the second one. I wrote it 15.03.2014. Why did you do it to me, it hurts, is it hard to see? We were so happy together, I wished it could be so forever. Why did you tell me goodbye, please, just tell me, tell me why. Didn't you care or didn't you hear, when I said I love you, know it was all true. Didn't you care

everything around them at the reservation. 8. Present Sister Leopolda. How is she different from other nuns? What is her attitude to Indians? Perhaps she is sent to test her Sisters' faith, here and there, like the spot-checker in a factory. In her class, Sister Leopolda carries a long oak pole for opening high windows. She uses it for catching Satan by surprise. She will see him if he enters. She has a stringer of children who can only breathe if she says the word. The other Sisters had long ago gone blank and given up on Satan. He slept for them. They never notice his comings and goings. But Leopolda keeps track of Satan and knows his habits, minds he burrows in, deep spaces where he is hiding, she know as much about him as Marie grandma. Leopolda perhaps doesn't like Indians, she always says to Marie that the Dark One wants her most of all. Marie stands out for her. 9

Formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is also known as methanal, methylene oxide, oxymethylene, methylaldehyde, and oxomethane. Formaldehyde can react with many other chemicals, and it will break down into methanol (wood alcohol) and carbon monoxide at very high temperatures. Formaldehyde is naturally produced in very small amounts in our bodies as a part of our normal, everyday metabolism and causes us no harm. It can also be found in the air that we breathe at home and at work, in the food we eat, and in some products that we put on our skin. A major source of formaldehyde that we breathe every day is found in smog in the lower atmosphere. Automobile exhaust from cars without catalytic converters or those using oxygenated gasoline also contain formaldehyde. At home, formaldehyde is produced by cigarettes and other tobacco products, gas cookers, and open fireplaces. It is also used as a preservative in some foods, such as some types of

Stretches and exercises in office

These tears leave scar tissue as the muscle heals, which tightens the muscle even further -- making you less flexible and more prone to pain. 2 Focus on a pain-free stretch. Expect to feel tension while you're stretching. If it hurts, you've gone too far. Back off to the point where you don't feel any pain, then hold the stretch. Relax and breathe freely. Don't hold your breath while you're stretching. How often to stretch is up to you. As a general rule, stretch whenever you exercise. If you don't exercise regularly, you might want to stretch at least three times a week to maintain flexibility. If you have a problem area, such as tightness in the back of your leg, you might want to stretch every day or even twice a day. Stretching the Hands & Forearms

Their sensitivity to oil pollution has been demonstrated experimentally. In the open sea, the rapid dilution of naturally dispersed oil and its soluble components, as well as the high natural mortality and patchy, irregular distribution of plankton, make significant effects unlikely. In coastal areas some marine mammals and reptiles, such as turtles, may be particularly vulnerable to adverse effects from oil contamination because of their need to surface to breathe and to leave the water to breed. Adult fish living in nearshore waters and juveniles in shallow water nursery grounds may be at greater risk to exposure from dispersed or dissolved oil. The risk of surface oil slicks affecting the sea bed in offshore waters is minimal. However, restrictions on the use of dispersants may be necessary near spawning grounds or in some sheltered, nearshore waters where the dilution capacity is poor.

Had I the Choice Had I the choice to tally greatest bards, To limn their portraits, stately, beautiful, and emulate at will, Homer with all his wars and warriors--Hector, Achilles, Ajax, Or Shakespeare's woe-entangled Hamlet, Lear, Othello--Tennyson's fair ladies, Meter or wit the best, or choice conceit to weild in perfect rhyme, delight of singers; These, these, O sea, all these I'd gladly barter, Would you the undulation of one wave, its trick to me transfer, Or breathe one breath of yours upon my verse, And leave its odor there. Mark Twain Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 April 21, 1910), better known by the pen name Mark Twain, was an American author and humorist. Twain is most noted for his novels Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which has since been called the Great American Novel, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. He is extensively quoted. .(La Costa) Or: Forgive what seemed my sin in me. (Tennyson) Normally, assonance does not appear alone: it is accompanied by other means of sound orchestration, i.e alliteration, rhyme: Hear the sledges with the bells Silver bells What a world of merriment their melody foretells! (Poe) Some scholars have attempted to relate vowel sounds to the meaning they convey. The sound / I / , either alone or in dipthtongs, is said to produce the impression of lightness, airiness, brightness. The fields breathe sweet, the daisises kiss our feet, Young lovers meet, old wives a-sunning sit ... (T.Nashe) The length of vowels is also relevant: long vowels tend to sound more peaceful or more solemn than short ones, which tend to give an impression of quick movement, agitation or triviality. The predominance of long vowels and diphtongs is said to render the sense of slow pace or slowness, heaviness. This assessment of vowel sounds could be backed up by the following fragment:

someone, like they were never a big part of your life. How you used to be able to talk for hours, and now you can barely even look at them... Sometimes I think about the first time I realized that I loved you ... it was as if my eyes took a picture at that moment and stored it in my heart. Sometimes I think about how much my life has changed because of you. I think about you and your happiness, about us and our life together, and I realize that you are as much a part of me now as the air I breathe and the dreams I have. But, from time to time, I still like to remember the first time I looked into your eyes and saw my future there.

Mom, Everything is great. Of course it's raining. I was waiting for something to write about. School isn't bad, just a little repetitive. I met some nice kids who sit by me at lunch. Your blouse is at the dry cleaners - you were supposed to pick it up Friday. Charlie bought me a truck, can you believe it? I love it. It's old, but really sturdy, which is good, you know, for me. I miss you, too. I'll write again soon, but I'm not going to check my e-mail every five minutes. Relax, breathe. I love you. Bella. I had decided to read Wuthering Heights -- the novel we were currently studying in English -- yet again for the fun of it, and that's what I was doing when Charlie came home. I'd lost track of the time, and I hurried downstairs to take the potatoes out and put the steak in to broil. "Bella?" my father called out when he heard me on the stairs. Who else? I thought to myself. "Hey, Dad, welcome home." "Thanks

" His lips brushed behind my ear. One of his hands pressed flat to my stomach, the fingers splaying to urge me back against him. He was as aroused as I was, his cock hard and thick against my lower back. "Turn around and say good-bye." Disappointed and regretful, I turned in his grip, sagging against the door to cool my heated back. He was curved over me, his luxurious hair framing his beautiful face, his forearm propped against the door to bring him closer. I had almost no room to breathe. The hand he'd had at my waist was now resting on the curve of my hip, tightening reflexively and driving me mad. He stared, his gaze searingly intense. "Kiss me," he said hoarsely. "Give me that much." Panting softly, I licked my dry lips. He groaned, tilted his head, and sealed his mouth over mine. I was shocked by how soft his firm lips were and the gentleness of the pressure he exerted. I sighed and his tongue dipped inside, tasting me in long leisurely licks
