Introduction
Im boy from Estonia who did went to live in France.
I went to live in France 21st August of 2013.
In France I did live about 2 years but now im back to Estonia.
In France the schools are very different with Estonian ones .
Now im going to talk about the differences abot the Estonian schools and France schools.
The school In France
In France I did went to school named Therese Davila. This school is one of the best schools in North of France. This school was only for the age 11-16 years old.
This school was an elitcschool.
In this school you have to have a good level to study in this school.
This school was pretty big, there were 700 pupils .
The school starts at 8 am and it finishes in 17:35. In my school one lesson lasts about 55 minutes and every break is in 2h. The break is 10 minutes.
In my school there were 7 parallel classes .
In one class you have around 30 pupils.
The lunch break is 1h and 30 minutes. You can eat in school or outside ex (home).
For the lunch tou had to pay, but the lunch was very good.
The hardest thing in this school was the homework , beacause we had very much homeworks for everyday .
The teachers were very strict.
In the lesson you don’t have a permission to speak .
In this school the P.E was very cool because we did very much different things.
The school in Estonia
In Estonia im in school named Laagri Kool. In this school you have around 700 pupils. This school is very big and beautiful. You have a pool in this school and many other things. The school starts at 8:15 am and it depends when it finishes, you finish around 14:00 pm. In my school the classes aren’t that big in my class there is 19 pupils. In my school one lesson lasts 45 minutes and breaks are after lesson, one break is 10 minutes. In my school there is 3 parallel classes. In my school there is two lunch breaks , one is for younger pupils and other one for pupils who are older. In my school you have more free time and school isn’t that strict. The lunch in the school is okay, but if you live in this area the food is free for you. The teachers are more kind and more happy.
Conclusion
These two schools are very different to each other, but if I had to choose one of these schools I would choose Laagri Kool. I would choose Laagri Kool because the days aren’t that long and you don’t have a lot of homeworks to do.
In Laagri Kool I like the most swimming lessons because In France I didn’t have swimming lessons.
But in my opinion the French lunch is better than Estonian one.

Climate in Great Britain The British Isles which are surrounded by the ocean have an insular climate. There are 3 things that chiefly determine the climate of the United Kingdom: the position of the islands in the temperate belt; the fact that the prevailing winds blow from the west and south-west and the warm current -- the Gulf Stream that flows from the Gulf of Mexico along the western shores of England. All these features make the climate more moderate, without striking difference between seasons. It is not very cold in winter and never very hot in summer. So, the British ports are ice-free and its rivers are not frozen throughout the year. The weather on the British Isles has a bad reputation. It is very changeable and fickle. The British say that there is a climate in other countries, but we have just weather. If you don't like the weather in England, just wait a few minutes. It rains very often in all seasons in Great Britain. Autumn and winter are the wettest.

Libraries

Libraries. We know a lot of things thanks to books, but we do not know exactly when and where they originated, and what should be considered the first book in the world. Ancient document, written on parchment, papyri and vellum can hardly be qualified as books the way we understand the word today. Centuries went before paper replaced parchment and papyri. In the 15 th century Johann Gutenberg invented a mechanical process of duplicating texts, which we today call book printing. The first book was printed between 1444 and 1446, so these years can be considered as the beginning years of book printing. His most important preserved printings are the 40 copies of the Bible. By the end of the 15 th century there were about 1000 print-shops in Europe already. The oldest Estonian book dates back to 1535. Libraries form a vital part of education. They make available-through books, films, recordings and other media- knowledge that h

Freedom of speech

Freedom of speech Freedom of speech is a wide speared conception. I can understand it in many different ways. For example in my state, Estonia, the freedom is a very important for every human. At least to me it is seemed to be like that. But at school is a little bit sad story with freedom of speech. Some teachers are not used that student expresses her own strong opinion. When another way some teachers are just waitening it. As well as people can not speak along with state public topics and express their opinion. Therefore freedom of speech is debateable.

My languages I love different languages. I mean, I really, really love different languages. I also believe and have been told that I pick them up rather easily. That might be true, although I did not pick any Greek up in Greece but that might have been because they spoke so damn fast that I could not tell if it was a word or an entire sentence. The first foreign language I learned was Russian. Considering I was ten when Estonia became a Republic, it makes sense. We began studying Russian in first grade, though it was simplified – "koška" instead of "kot", "medvešonok" instead of "medved", "saichik" etc. Did not make much sense and we mostly played some games in Russian (Tare-tareke etc). Learned as much playing outside, since we had Estonian-Russian kids around as well. Not that we played with them. It's sad to say but it was not a nice time to be a Russian kid. We were mean to them, and we did not even know why

Edulugude võistlus

I rememember clearly that the first prize that I got for an essay was a backpack and the first journey that I won was to Brussels. To this day, thanks to these competitions, I have had the chance to visit about ten foreign countries and many of them even twice. Herewith I just want to say that nothing is impossible. The main thing is the desire to gain something. When you have found a goal, then you just have to start working for it! Big city schools have always been preferred to small schools. Even so, it is unfair to say that schools which are situated in big towns are giving better education than the ones in small towns. Mostly, examination results are being compared, when making this kind of statistics. I truly believe that the only difference between schools is that some institutions just give better conditions for students. At the moment I am studying in Hugo Treffner Gymnasium and this school is highly valued in our country
