Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous footballers in the world and sadly i haven’t been fortunate enough to meet him. I think the first time i heard his name was when i was about 11 years old and since that time, i have kept an eye on his actions. Ronaldo is quite tall and a muscular athlete. He has got a long face, light brown eyes and dark brown hair. He also has quite big nose. Basically every time i see him in some news article or on the pitch, he has a different hairstyle. He mostly wears designer clothes. I think he looks fabulous.

Wales

Wales is a country that is part of the United Kingdom and the island of Great Britain, bordered by England to its east and the Atlantic Ocean and Irish Sea to its west. It has over 1,200 km of coastline, and is largely mountainous. The country is obv ruled by Elizabeth II, but it has its own first minister, Carwyn Jones. The country lies within the north temperate zone, and has a changeable, maritime climate. People in Wales speak Welsh and English. Sadly 73% of people say that they have no skills in Welsh. HISTORY! Neanderthals lived in what is now Wales at least 230,000 years ago. Homo sapiens had arrived by about 31,000 BC. The first people from outer world to step their foot on Wales' area were Celts about 1000 BC. The first recorded information about people in Wales is when Romans came in the 48AD. At that time people talked in Celtic language, which later on was evolved to Welsh.

A small adventure

A small adventure 12 October 2016 One summer evening about two years ago in June me and two of my friends Jane and Elisabeth were in a summer camp in Karepa. The weather was delightful: it was warm and there wasn't windy, so we decided to go and watch the sunset at the beach. Sadly we weren't allowed to go outside after 11 p.m. and it was already about 11.30 p.m., but we decided to go anyway. All three of us put on our darkest clothes so no one could see us. We sneaked out of our room and ran over a big hilly field into the dark forest. Unfortunately a strict teacher saw us and started coming towards us. We freaked out and started running through the forest. Luckily the teacher gave up looking for us very easily, but to my horror we had lost each other

Little Red Riding Hood Once upon a time there was a little girl called Little Red Riding Hood. She was beautiful little girl. In one day she got a call from her grandmother. Granny invited her to a cup of tea. Little Red Riding Hood baked a cake and went to the bus station. Sadly, the bus had already left. Then she thought, that she could walk to her grannys place. He walked throught the woods. In the forest, he noticed berries and went to pick them. After picking berrys, she was tired and fell asleep. When she woked up, she saw a wolf eating her barries, she quickly took her cake and ran to her grandmothers place. She saw granny in the kitchen baking. She quickly told her granny what was happened, granny told him not to worry. Suddenly the doorbell rang

It is actually really colourful, compared to most supermarkets, therefore it attracts all kinds of children from the area. It has a huge variety of materials in the shop, starting from fruit and vegetables and ending with toys, clothes and even cooking meals. Sadly, the fact that it is old, makes it quite enjoyable for the alcoholics to be around the area. It has three checkout counters where you can buy your groceries. The best thing ever about the area and the people is that most of them are actually really talkative and every time I go there, I always meet someone new. The smell in the supermarket is quite neutral, it is nothing special because it surely does not have the aroma of an outside market in the summer

This time he didn`t run off, but still, he tried to stay in the bushes near the shadows of the trees. Carefully, like a small child discovering the world he moved towards the light. And what he saw took his breath away: there was a village, but it was all burning and the people were sleeping an eternal sleep everywhere he looked. Some of them were seriosly injured, but alive. So he dared to sneek closer and take a better look. One old man, who was still moving a bit, saw the soldier and waved sadly his hand. The youth climbed slowly over some dead bodies and sat near the injured person. "What happened?" he asked "Who are these terrifiing creatures?" The old man pointed one of his fingers to the north. The soldier took a look and saw an old wooden church that wasn`t swallowed by the river of fire yet. "What`s in there?" he said, but no answer was given. The old man was dead. The soldier prayed in the name of the Queen and stood up.

We have many beautiful places in our amazing country the best example are the forests. In many European countries, the biggest forest you can find is the size if Hiiumaa, but half of our country is forests with many species of wild-animals. Thirdly, we have our own language. Estonian is one the most unique languages in the whole wide world. Sadly, many youngsters do not want to speak it and instead, they speak English and ohter languages, which seem more interesting. We are losing our native speakers fast and I am sure, that the grandchildren of our generation will not speak Estonian like we do now. Even though I just described some of the reasons to be a proud Estonian, I am sure, that one day I will leave again. I am not sure if I am going to come back as an 35-year-old or as a

which product to buy for yourself, and try giving some of it to other people instead. On the other hand there are many things money can not buy. Money can buy a big house, but not a home. Money can buy a high position, but not a respect. Money even can buy a person, but not the love or friend. Today, when the world becomes more and more materialistic , many people have leaning to connect with the physical world rather than the spirit. Sadly, we praise the ones who have the money and immediately begin to think that they have a better life, better clothes, greater friends and more opportunities than you have, but in fact the reality might be the other way round. The most valuable thing in world is time, but to be rich, you have to work a lot, but if you work over hours then you do not have that much time to live a life. So in the end, are you in seventh heaven like this? I do not think so.

Speech: Ideas are our greatest weapons Hello class and classmates, I would like to open up my speech with a quote that I find really amazing: „The pen is mightier than the sword”. Sadly I don't know whose it is, but it means, that not every war has to be fought with swords and weapons, coming up with an idea about something that isn't violent might be a lot easier way to conquer in life. I think that all of you know that every tool, weapon, Everything that surrounds us, has started with an idea. That shouldn't be new for you. Some people might find it hard to believe, but even the most common things- like chairs, walls, even a pack of bread has been an idea once. Someone had

Of children that had never played an instrument, both the cost of learning and the opportunity to do so were given as reasons than the lack of interest in learning suggests that barriers to even a first experianse remain impossible to some. The Making Music report talks further about where there are more children interested. The Chairman of Sistema England Julian Lloyd Webber said: ‘Sadly, the report shows that music is still most likely to be pushed aside in the poorer inner-city schools ‒ exactly where it could be most beneficial. This continues to foster the misguided belief that classical music is a white, middle-class and elitist activity. While things are much better than they were 10 years ago, there is still a long and winding road ahead before we can say that all our children have access to music.’

these disastrous attacks, the world's top scientists are working relentlessly to come out with a plan for the prediction and prevention of these horrible assaults. The men of the seas are always on the lookout for another natural disaster: whirlpools. These massive swirling vortexes of water are the cause of many lost sailors every year. With our primitive technology and archaic maps, seafarers sail the vast seas virtually blind, and can only hope to reach their destination. But sadly, all too often they will unknowingly navigate their ships straight into a tremendous whirlpool. As the trapped schooners swirl helplessly into these black holes of the seas, they are lost forever. It is believed that they end up in some alternate dimension, but this is only theory at this time. We can only hope to one day locate, and contain all the whirlpools in the expansive oceans of our world. Speaking of worlds, we come to our last natural disaster: meteors. These missiles from space

Passive houses

The definition of a passive house is based on its extremely low energy need. Passive houses consume less than a quarter of energy required for a standrard building, as a result reducing its ecological footprint. So it´s a ultralow energy building which requires little energy for space heating or cooling. Sounds appealing right? Sustaining the earth for our future generations and also in the long run benefit from living there with paying lower taxes. However sadly, nowadays there is known to be only up to 20,000 passive houses world-wide out of 1,6 billion households. Which leaves us only 1 house out of 80,000. So why such shocking figures? The main reason, why there aren´t enough energy efficient homes, is because it costs more money to build one of those. Another reason is, that many houses were built before the energy laws were passed. So let´s talk about the cost. It is said that passive homes cost 6 to 12% more than other new homes,

In general it was book that was a perfect combination of happiness and sadness. Happiness and sadness were in balance, however the book ended sadly. I would recommend this book to everyone, I see it as one of those books, which you have to add to your have-to-read list.

These resources have included basic food supplies, clothing, shelter, fuel, spices, industrial raw materials, and medicine for all those who have lived in the majesty of the forest. However, the inner dynamics of a tropical rainforest is an intricate and fragile system. Everything is so interdependent that upsetting one part can lead to unknown damage or even destruction of the whole. Sadly, it has taken only a century of human intervention to destroy what nature designed to last forever. The scale of human pressures on ecosystems everywhere has increased enormously in the last few decades. Since 1980 the global economy has tripled in size and the world population has increased by 30 percent. Consumption of everything on the planet has risen- at a cost to our ecosystems. In 2001, The World Resources Institute estimated that the demand for rice,

"Your highness...my dear Eliza...I really must to go now!" he whispered sadly. "No!" she cried, but Edward turned fast away and in a few moments was gone. The princess looked at the big oval mirror that was standing by the window and seemed surprised of her own temper. She looked still confused when her mother, the beloved queen Alice of the Scots, entered the main hall. "Well, well, well..." the old woman said looking at her pale daughter, "May I at least know whom this lucky man is?" Eliza was staring in bold air not noticing even the loud question.

You can count the things that might happen endlessly. I'm not trying to be paranoid, but the sad fact is, something will happen to every one of us. And that is the hard part of the real life - handling a situation like that. The question is, after sufferings like that, how can people still say that life is beautiful? I guess it's all in your head. Whether you accept that something has happened and you try to make the best out of it and do anything that makes your life great again, or you sit sadly and pity yourself, unable to fix anything. The slogans like "Look at the sunny side of everything", "After the rain always comes the sun", "Be happy with what you have, not with what you don't", and "It might always be worse" might sound cheesy, but they are there for a reason - they are true. Life is hard, but as much as it's hard, it's beautiful. There are a million things that make life worth living, that make it beautiful and enjoyable, that make you happy.

The way it was written and how he presented it played a huge role in its effectiveness. Martin Luther King used a wide variety of rhetorical and literary devices in his speech. Rhetorical devices are used to persuade and evoke emotions in the audience. The use of metaphors can already be seen in the following sentence: ‘’One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination’’. The metaphorical use of the words ‘’chains’’ and ‘’manacles’’ in that statement help the audience to visualize the impact of discrimination and segregation. The black community being bound my the chains of discrimination prevented them from being able to rise up. Chains and manacles can also be seen as objects that bring back memories among African Americans that once

Sadly this phenomenon can result in health problems. The Harvard Eating Disorders Center reports that 80% of women wake up each morning feeling depressed about their appearance (Johnston, 2004, paragraph 15). A second type of dilution seen in many mammals is "pink-eyed dilution". Pink-eyed dilution is characterised by a pink or ruby glimmer to the eye (depigmentation). The coat colour is often diluted to bluish-fawn and the pink-eyed dilution factor is generally inherited as a recessive gene. A possible pink-eyed dilute female cat was reported in 1961. She was described as pink-eyed with a light tan coat. She was mated to a chocolate point Siamese and produced three tabby kittens 10 days premature. Sadly none of the kittens survived. The colour of the kittens implies that pink-eyed dilution in cats is inherited as a recessive trait and is independent of the colourpoint genes. The pigment granules in the hairs of pink-eyed dilute cats were very small and yellowish brown, instead of the normal dark-brown or black. (Todd NB: A pink- eyed dilution in the cat. This was the mixture I used three times per day when on the Cyclical Ketogenic Diet to produce veins on my abdomen for the first time in my life, all in less than eight weeks. Ephedrine hydrochloride: 20 mg Caffeine: 200 mg Aspirin: 85 mg The biochemistry was spot-on, and dozens of studies supported the e ects. If E = 1, C = 1, and A = 1, the three combined have a synergistic effect of 1 + 1 + 1 = 610.10 Sadly, the ECA stack is not a free ride. Tolerance to the upper-like e ects11 develops quickly and cessation can cause severe headaches. The withdrawal pains lead to a domino e ect of stimulant use. Either people never stop taking ECA or they substitute in equally strong drugs to avoid chronic fatigue

dry my hair, I was soon out of things to do in the bathroom. Wrapped in a towel, I crossed back to my room. I couldn't tell if Charlie was still asleep, or if he had already left. I went to look out my window, and the cruiser was gone. Fishing again. I dressed slowly in my most comfy sweats and then made my bed -- something I never did. I couldn't put it off any longer. I went to my desk and switched on my old computer. I hated using the Internet here. My modem was sadly outdated, my free service substandard; just dialing up took so long that I decided to go get myself a bowl of cereal while I waited. I ate slowly, chewing each bite with care. When I was done, I washed the bowl and spoon, dried them, and put them away. My feet dragged as I climbed the stairs. I went to my CD player first, picking it up off the floor and placing it precisely in the center of the table. I pulled out the headphones, and put them away in the desk drawer

Darcy had to decide on the propriety of his friend's inclination, or why, upon his own judgement alone, he was to determine and direct in what manner his friend was to be happy. But," she continued, recollecting herself, "as we know none of the particulars, it is not fair to condemn him. It is not to be supposed that there was much affection in the case." "That is not an unnatural surmise," said Fitzwilliam, "but it is a lessening of the honour of my cousin's triumph very sadly." This was spoken jestingly; but it appeared to her so just a picture of Mr. Darcy, that she would not trust herself with an answer, and therefore, abruptly changing the conversation talked on indifferent matters until they reached the Parsonage. There, shut into her own room, as soon as their visitor left them, she could think without interruption of all that she had heard. It was not to be supposed that any other people could be meant than those with whom she was connected

glimpse. I became free of compulsive thinking and of the false, mind-made “I.” The above incident not only gave me a first glimpse of awareness, it also planted the first doubt as to the absolute validity of the human intellect. A few months later, something tragic happened that made my doubt row. On a Monday morning, we arrived for a lecture to be given by a professor whose mind I admired greatly, only to be told that sadly he had committed suicide sometime during the weekend by shooting himself. I was stunned. He was a highly respected teacher and seemed to have all the answers. However, I could as yet see no alternative to the cultivation of thought. I didn’t realize yet that thinking is only a tiny aspect of the consciousness that we are, nor did I know anything about the ego, let alone being able to detect it within myself. The true all-healing Elixir is the achievement of inner change, but the scene acknowledges that it's important to get outward recognition as well. subjected to a transposition. On this basis he began to work. Nothing happened. The traffic was too light for him even to determine by frequency counts whether the checkerboard key changed each day, and without this basic information he did not dare to amalgamate the cryptograms of successive days for a concerted assault. Colonel Francois Cartier, head of the Bureau du Chiffre, looked on over his shoulder as he braided and unbraided the letters and . mused sadly, "Poor Painvin. This time I don't think you'll get it." Painvin, goaded, worked harder than before. Meanwhile, Berthold achieved his Schliisselheft entry and Painvin, shifting temporarily to that more fruitful field, completed it. But the enciphered code, used only for trench communications, provided no strategic insights. These would come, if they were to come at all, through solution of the ADFGX, which direction-finding showed was carrying
