Each tendency was born by the influence of economic and political changes in the society. Those trends are known as the "hippies" the "punks" the "rockers". But certainly there are different traditional youth organizations in Great Britain. Among them -- the Scout Association, the Girl Guides Association, the National Union of Students, the Youth Club. The latter offers, for example, a wide range of sporting and social activities. The National Union of Students was founded in 1922. It operates through local branches in colleges and universities. It promotes the educational, social and general interests of students. But certainly the most numerous is the Scout Association, founded in 1908 for boys and in 1910 for girls by Lord Baden-Powel. The Scout movement is to encourage a sense of adventure and of responsibility for others among young people. The programme of training

In some time eastern will go through the same phase. Therefore tourists are making decisions to travel based on their cultural mind-set and environment. Depending on culture norms, in some societies gender roles are part of traditional values and have an impact on women’ ability to travel. As an example of this, women mostly in Arabic and Islam countries are expected to stay at home and raise children, while being dependent from their husbands or other male family members. Coming back to female adventure travel, travelling in these countries is not considered as an activity for women. For instance, in Saudi Arabia women 3 Anthropology of Tourism Madli Tuvike need permission for travel, education or even healthcare (Reuters, 2013). reason. A person can be insensitive in one way, such as blind, and extraordinarily sensitive in another way, such as in hearing. It is also possible to be so ultra-sensitive that the result is disadvantageous. I expect no argument in asserting that a normal sensitivity is a healthy, indispensable ingredient for optimal education. Sensitivity can be heightened or blunted by education. It is intertwined with curiosity. An ideal education affords numerous and varied opportunities for students to touch, see, smell, listen, hear; to spark their curiosity. When I was a child the things that pleased me were largely other than the plants which have earned me a living as an adult. For example, I collected postage stamps, played basketball, was fond of listening to music, played all manner of games, but dealt only in a neutral, uninspired fashion with plants. The one thing that was constant and of supreme importance was my love of reading. I don't recall why, but by an early age, say age

I really wanted to see the world! The only question was how, because my financial resources were limited. Nevertheless, I think, it is the perfect situation in life. If you are eager to get something you have to think how it is possible to fulfill your dreams. I knew I was interested in writing and photography . Then came the question, how could I combine them. I examined the theme thoroughly and to my suprise there have always been many nationwide competitions for students and the prize sometimes has been a journey to somewhere. I rememember clearly that the first prize that I got for an essay was a backpack and the first journey that I won was to Brussels. To this day, thanks to these competitions, I have had the chance to visit about ten foreign countries and many of them even twice. Herewith I just want to say that nothing is impossible. The main thing is the desire to gain something. When you have found a goal, then you just have to start working for it!

wherever it occurs, ONR has a potential knowledge base of candidate personnel that far exceeds most organizations both in the public and private sectors. ONR's access to universities and industry through an established network of over 5,000 principal investigators, and its ready access to R&D agencies of the government, provide it with means to identify the most capable female and minority scientists and engineers ranging from graduate students to established professionals at all levels. To build a more diverse work force, an organization needs to enhance two critical aspects: the process by which employees are recruited and hired, and the environment in which they work. Creating and maintaining a supportive and productive work environment and providing opportunities for employee development are as important in retaining quality employees as is the process of recruiting them.

women’s body, female dancers, in some cases, have been regarded as distinct from decent women, because they use their bodies to make a living instead of hiding them as much as possible. While some cultures regard any dancing by women as the most shameful form of entertainment, other cultures have established venues such as strip clubs where deliberately erotic or sexually provocative dances are performed in public by professional women dancers for mostly male audiences. In history, various political regimes have sought to control or ban dancing or specific types of dancing. For example, during the Nazi regime, American dances such as swing, regarded as completely un-German, had become a public offense and needed to be banned. But banning had the effect of making the dance craze even greater. Dances can be performed in any possible ways. Some of them, such as traditional dance and ballet, need a

Being a third year history student in University of Tartu, I am wondering over the same questions and find myself often thinking what is expected of me after graduating and how has university played a role in my development for almost three years now. When asked what is the main purpose of university, most people would say that it is preparing students for different proffessions, which would later be the driving force of the country. But I think it is more complicated than that. Going to university is a logical step to a ambitious young high school graduate and some even don’t consider other possibilities. On the other hand, universities are getting a lot of critic because some say that the goal of universities are to produce as many diploma graduates as possible. I think that universities are

military operations in North Africa and Europe. During the 15 th and 16th centuries they were widely used in naval battles to set fire on enemy ships. Around this time they also started being used for more peaceful purposes again. In the 16th and 17th century Europe fireworks displays using rockets became a very popular form of public entertainment. In the late 18th century the British army suffered two serious defeats at battles in Seringapatam, in India. The main reason for these defeats was that the Indian prince, Haidar Ali's army included a corps of rocket throwers. They used very large bamboo rockets which had a range of hundreds of metres. The British were determined to learn from their mistakes and a British officer, William Congrieve, began work on developing even bigger and better rockets. Within a few years Congrieve had developed 14 kg iron rockets that could be fired over 3200 m. These rockets were successfully used against Napoleon in the battle of

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

PHYSICAL EDUCATION Physical education has long been a staple in schools on a K-12 level and beyond, with all students required to participate in some form of physical education. Also referred to as "gym class" students participated in activities such as team sports, (volleyball, soccer, basketball, etc.) walking or running (running a mile was common), cardiovascular and strength training exercises (such as pull-ups and push-ups) and even swimming. Physical education provides children with an opportunity to exercise during the day. It gives children early exposure to team sports, and promotes good physical fitness. Children who participate in physical education get a workout, and they also learn the importance of exercise as a lifelong habit. Physical education is clearly an important course in schools, with many benefits for children

Hypermobility. The effect of hypermobility on flexibility

It usually appears at a very young age and decreases as one gets older, but 58% 3 of adults diagnosed with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome do not see any indication of the recession of JMS throughout their lives. The syndrome rather delves than shows withdrawal. Hypermobility is usually a sign of fragile joints. In order to avoid injuries, one is suggested to perform exercises and physical therapies to improve one’s extension, such as yoga, pilates, dancing, tai chi and intensive stretching trainings. These kind of exercises strenghten the joint as well as relieve pain in case it becomes evident. Learning the normal range of motion of every joint is recommended in order to prevent hyperextension. One can protect the joints by using supportive bandages, paddings or braces during physial activities as well. Joint hypermobility needs a prompt reaction when discovered at an early age. If JMS is detected as a child, hyperextension may not
