Lasnamäe prisma ,
My company has a first class hairdryer called the BaByliss 5568U Salon Light 2100w AC that we believe you might be interested in purchasing to stock at your store .
Our hairdryer is lightweight and has a 3 metre long power cord, which is 1.2 metres longer than the power cord of hairdryers such as the Remington Luxe AC. We believe this improves customer satisfaction with the hairdryer, as customer reviews show that they rate hairdryers with longer cords more highly than those with shorter cords.
Our product also has a removeable filter , therefore the customer can clean it easily and efficiently , thus freeing up their time so that they can do other things.
The long-life AC motor of the hairdryer gives the customer a high-power airflow for a faster drying time. It has three heat and two speed settings and also a cold shot button, which is superior to a similar hairdryer such as the TRESemmé 5542DU Power 2200w hairdryer, which only has two heat and speed settings. We believe giving the customer more choice makes them happier, and the reviews reflect that idea .
Our hairdryer has a five - year guarantee, which is two years longer than the aforementioned TRESemmé hairdryer, and we believe this gives good value for money as although the hairdryer is robust, if it breaks after four years, the customer will be covered if they have our hairdryer, but not if they have another hairdryer on the market with a shorter guarantee period .
Our hairdryer has an ultra -thin salon concentrator nozzle, which is perfect for straight styling and the ionic system releases a flow of balancing ions to boost the condition of the customers’ hair and eliminate frizz for a high shine finish.
We believe our product is far superior to any other hairdryer you currently stock in your store, and we would like to do business with you.
Therefore, we would be willing to provide an introductory discount on the purchase of the product of twenty percent for the first fifty units you purchase. The wholesale price we would sell at is usually 24 € for a recommended retail price of between 30 € and 40 €, but for the first fifty units you purchase, we would drop the wholesale price per unit to 19,20 €, giving your store a total saving of 240 €.
After this offer expires, your store can get a discount of ten percent on orders of 150 units or over, for example if your store orders 150 units, the price would usually be 3400 € but the discount covers the whole of the order , so your company saves 360 € giving a total of 3240 €.
The first fifty units of our hairdryer that you sell will give your store a profit of 790 € if you sold it at the mid-point of the recommended retail price, which would be 35 €, so we believe this business deal is an extremely lucrative proposition for your company.
Our product will also fill a void in your product range, as our hairdryer is an improvement on hairdryers you currently stock and we believe your customers will love the hairdryer and be happy with their purchase so they will link your company more in their minds with positive emotions and associations, and therefore our product will improve customer satisfaction rates and your revenue, as happy customers will be more likely to shop repeatedly at your store, spend more and shop more frequently.
If you decide you would like to stock our product, we will work with you to establish a time and day which it would be best for you to recieve the stock at your store, as we are very flexible in terms of delivery of our stock, and if you would like a working sample to test the veracity of our assertions about our product, then we can arrange a time and day to suit you for a representative to come to your store to show you the product.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this proposal and I hope that this will be the start of a good business relationship.

south coast of England. By 1978 the first overseas franchise is a kiosk in Brussels and by 1982 new shops open at a rate of two per month. In 1985, in its first year as a public company, The Body Shop sponsored posters for Greenpeace. A year later, it created an Environmental Projects Department of its own, while the first major campaign for The Body Shop is "Save the Whales" with Greenpeace, in 1986. The first Community Trade product for The Body Shop was a footsie roller, produced in 1986 by a supplier in southern India. This trade in footsie rollers has evolved into the current trade with Teddy Exports in India, one of our key Community Trade suppliers. By 1990, just one year after launching in the USA, there were 2,500 applications for a franchise, with demand for The Body Shop® products ever-growing, driven by expansion which saw the company trading in 39 countries within just fourteen years

management. Cooper and Ellram [1993] compare supply chain management to a well-balanced and well-practiced relay team. Such a team is more competitive when each player knows how to be positioned for the hand-off. The relationships are the strongest between players who directly pass the baton (stick), but the entire team needs to make a coordinated effort to win the race. Below is an example of a very simple supply chain for a single product, where raw material is procured from vendors, transformed into finished goods in a single step, and then transported to distribution centers, and ultimately, customers. Realistic supply chains have multiple end products with shared components, facilities and capacities. The flow of materials is not always along an arborescent network, various modes of transportation may be considered, and the bill of materials for the end items may be both deep and large.

place? I have already talked about the computer I am using to write this book. It was not produced or even sold to me by a Black person. Certainly, a few Blacks work for the Apple Coporation which produces and markets the Macintosh products. But before I came down to the basement, I had to turn on the electricity so that I could see. My children had pointed out to me that the filament for the electric bulb was invented by a Blackman. I said great. What happened to him? Where is the product he invented? Is he or his descendants collecting some form of royalty from this invention? What I see on the electric bulb is General Electric, a multi-billion dollar company involved in everything, including producing military products and owing the NBC-TV network. That is what I see on the bulb. If we could stop deluding ourselves. I have no doubt that the descendants of the original company are not my people. I am sitting here and looking at my nephew’s great stereo

- video is not in fact exclusive - poor quality of the photographs - membership has not arrived - your niece's disappointment - you weren't able to get a refund despite the promise of a money-back guarantee and a suggestion of compensation. Organisation and cohesion: the letter should be well organised and the events told in a logical way, e.g. paragraph 1 - reason for writing paragraph 2, - reason for buying the product paragraph 3 - why you were unhappy with it paragraph 4 - what action you would like the shop to take. Range: the letter should use common expressions for writing about complaint and asking for compensation. Register: fairly formal. Target reader: the store manager who have a clear understanding of the problem and be sympathetic enough to wish to offer compensation. Accuracy: should not contain major errors that lead to misunderstandings or have a negative effect on the reader.

Entry ticket week 39 - Ave Nurmeots

Entry Ticket Week 39 – Ave Nurmeots (62-130) 1. Why is it important to move beyond product innovation?  To be able to compete within the today’s marketplace (continued success and differentiation).  It is not enough anymore just to come up with an innovative product or its features. To achieve a bigger and more sustainable competitive advantage different types of innovations should be combined together. 2. Name an example of a company from the book, which has gone beyond product innovation –explain which of the 9 other types they have used?  I really liked the example of Microsoft reinventing integrated office tools. When I think about it in today’s context, it seems very logical – a lot of companies do that

Connecting Ideas Logically and Effectively

Connecting Ideas Logically and Effectively

UNIT 6 Connecting Ideas Logically and Effectively The aim of the section is to assist you to produce an effective topic outline: a skeleton of your document. If this stage of the production process is done properly all you really need are the language control techniques to connect your ideas logically and effectively. If you have a well documented list of techniques to connect your ideas effectively the writing process is less formidable. You will want to know how to join similarities, compare and contrast certain facts, introduce the next topic, offer a supporting idea, or refer to previously presented facts. You will also need to know how to present different shades of argument to produce logically a recommendation you wish to make. This requires an ability to emphasise certain facts and 'bury' others. However, all facts need to be linked to give a logical flow. This unit will give you language practice in this important aspect of producing written docume
