English Oak has been a solid staple material of the British furniture making tradition for hundreds of years. Our oak pieces come in a variety of colours, from Light to Blackened oak (not to be confused with Black Oak - which is typically a medium to light wood). Letter of Complaint

CITYTRUMP AS 18 Vanemuise St Tartu 4 February 2004 Tarmeko Sales Department 56 Sõbra St Tartu Dear Sirs In my letter on 15 January I asked about the wooden furniture and requested your newest catalogue. On 24 January we received your newest catalogue, which did not contain the information I asked for. Obviously I cannot place an order if I do not have the right catalogue. We need to have our rooms ready as soon as possible, but without the furniture it is not deal able. We know that everyone makes mistakes, but we were really grateful if you could send us the right catalogue. So we could place the order. Yours sincerely Ardi Harakas Managing Director

My Ideal Room

My Ideal Room My ideal room should be a medium sized. It would have probably more than one window, to have more natural light. There might be some stylish curtains in front of windows; their color might be something in the middle, not too dark, but also not too light. Walls, which would be covered with wallpaper, would be the same type, as the curtains. I'd probably have hard floor, which would have maybe one carpet on it. All the furniture, I'd have in my room, would be in some kind of a brownish variation, to make the room more natural. But I'd combine the entire furniture whit some hi-tech technology, for example a powerful computer, maybe also a 5.1 stereo system, surely a big TV set, about "32" inches diagonal and maybe a big deck too. In my room there would be one medium sofa, maybe one or two closets, studying desk and some shelves for mainly storing CD-s and DVD-s. Of course there would be a nice small cozy bed

modern and expensive sports equipment, and little relaxing sauna. There I could get a great rest for my body after hard day. In addition to this, I am able to add that there is a big kitchen in my dream house. The kitchen must be light and have all modern equipment such as huge fridge, microwave, modern oven, vacuum saucepans, dishwasher and some other things as dresser with amazing dishes. Oh, it just occurred to me that I've forgot to tell about furniture. My dream furniture is upholstered, comfortable, and elegant. Usually, it must make my dream house as cozy as it is possible. Another important thing which needs to be mentioned is that dominating color in my dream house is blue, as blue color is beautiful like a dream and I love this color. That's all about my dream house. I hope that one day my dreams will become in to a true. It would be great to live in house which is in my dreams.

European yew - plant in Estonia

in the bark of the yew, inhibits cell growth and cell division, and may have some promise in the fight against cancer. It was also one of the most important trees in the history of European warfare, as its wood was used exclusively for the making of the longbows, spears and dagger handles. In the past they were used as landmarks, because of their size and longevity, and their dark branches would make them stand out in the landscape. It is excellent for furniture making, interior, fences, gates, chairs, doors, tables, and rustic furniture. Where the Yew Grows It is also possible to find small trees growing near bigger trees, which transplant well. They prefer a moist, fertile, sandy loam soil, but will grow well in most soils except water-logged ground or sticky wet clay. They also grow well on chalk. They resist pollution and can flourish in the shade of taller trees. Yew trees are often found lining

The larger part of the output of Estonia's forestry and related industries goes for export, whereas Estonia increasingly exports goods of a higher value. The production and export of wooden construction details, wooden furniture and wooden houses has been going up consistently. Nimetu

In the first place you promise that your movies are very funny, but they don´t. The jokes are just lame. Only 5th graders would laugh when they hear the jokes. I know that these movies are meant to be parodys but you should show more respect to the original movies. In addition to that the acting is very poor. You should have hired some well know actors. Maybe they would have saved the movies. Also the movies had lots of mistakes in them. For example the positions of furniture changed in several frames. The mistakes could have been avoided when you had edited the movie more carefully. The worst thing is that the story was very boring and had lots of plotholes in it. Next time you should write a better script like you did in "Scary Movie 3" I would therefore like you to pay back my cinema ticket money and apologise to all your fans. Yours sincerely, Märt Lõkov

Floods and Tsunamis

Floods and Tsunamis Flood is a natural event or occurrence where a piece of land that is usually dry land, suddenly gets submerged under water. Some floods can occur suddenly and recede quickly. Others take days or even months to build and discharge. When floods happen in an area that people live, the water carries along objects like houses, bridges, cars, furniture and even people. It can wipe away farms, trees and many more heavy items. Floods occur at irregular intervals and vary in size, duration and the affected area. It is important to note that water naturally flows from high areas to low lying areas. This means low-lying areas may flood quickly before it begins to get to higher ground. Flooding is extremely dangerous and has the potential to wipe away an entire city, coastline or area, and cause extensive damage to life and property

12 Kasutatud kirjandus: · Sembach, Claus-Jürgen ,,20th century furniture design" · Greenberg, Cara ,,Mid-century modern: Furniture of the 1950's" · pildid internetist 13

The Palace of Versailles / Versailles' loss

that there are three hundred and fifty-seven mirrors decorating the seventeen arches that are opposite of the windows. Louis XV died leaving a huge debt to his grandson Louis XVI. Even though he was incredibly in debt, Louis XVI had all the gardens redone right away. Perhaps this is why the French Government went bankrupt and they had to give up the palace. This whole thing eventually started the French Revolution.            In 1792, Versailles was abandoned. All of the furniture was sold and all the art was brought to museums. The palace was left empty. The French government decided to open up the palace as a museum, during the 1830's.  In 1962, all of the belongings of the palace that could be located were brought back and the palace has almost been completely restored back to its original self. Also the gardens and statues have been restored, and more then 80 of the rooms have been remodeled and decorated. They are now open to the public

Inflatsioon ja elu kallinemine

in 2005. Fuel prices also rose in February with an average increase of 0.6p per litre on ultra low sulphur petrol. Another large upward effect came from seasonal food with poor weather reported to have restricted continental supplies of salad items leading prices to rise in February. Offsetting downward effects came from a number of commodity groups. February recoveries from sales for furniture and household equipment were not as strong as a year ago, particularly for most furniture items, producing a large downward effect on the CPI annual rate. Another large downward effect came from recreation and culture where there were reduced prices in February for games, toys and hobbies and in particular computer games. The RPI inflation rate remained unchanged at 3.2 per cent in February and was influenced by many similar factors. The annual rate for the all items RPI excluding mortgage interest payments (RPIX) was 2.1 per cent in February, unchanged from the previous month

THINGS TO DO IN PAIDE: • Take a bit of time and go for a long walk around the town and amid the beautiful nature surrounding it. Distances are short here, so you won’t need anything but beautiful weather and a good mood to have a fun day out. • Go to Paide lake – equally loved among amateur  fishermen as well as a beloved destination for sports events. • Visit the Järvamaa county museum in Paide and see the oldest pharmacy furniture and equipment in Estonia or participate in the “Aphotek Help” programme. • Take a bike ride to the neighbouring town of Türi, just 15km away – a designated cycling lane between those two towns makes it a safe and Paide Holy Cross Church Former German Girls Private Gymnasium, built in 1910, Posti 12 Paide Court House, former

What is needed for good society

all the people owning all of these things. So we are doomed. Some thoughts I found at internet: “If there are homeless people on the streets while rooms in mansions sit empty, we do not have a good society.” “If some are idle while others work too much, we do not have a good society.” Accessibility to other desirable Items means that there is also other basics that could be desired by nearly everyone. These items are like: tasty food, comfortable housing (with furniture, running water, and electric lights), transportation, a clean and healthy environment, healthcare, meaningful work, regular exercise, rejuvenating leisure, fulfilling relationships, family, and a close-knit community. None of these things are not essential, but life without these is not that fun. A good society would enable for most people to have most of these luxuries and would allow everyone to have just like the least of these items (even like 1-3 would be enough)
