HOUSE AND HOME tööleht

two years. Since the early 1990s, building new houses and flats has been very slow. But today the number of new homes built soars to an 11 year high. Over 170,000 new homes were built in 2019. However, three million new council homes must be built in England over 20 years to solve the "housing crisis". Finding cheap housing for rent is a real problem for the poor and unemployed. Huge increase in house prices have placed additional pressure on the renting sector as young people simply cannot afford to buy. In any case, flats are generally not very popular with the British, especially compared to the rest of Europe, though they are acceptable to many people in the centre of big cities. People prefer housing in the suburbs, and a garden of any size is considered essential. There is a growing tendency to move away from the hustle and noise of big cities, and large areas in the

My ideal home - lühiessee

My ideal home. In our century most of the people live in block of flats, so farms and homesteads are mostly summer cottages. Right now I live in apartment too, but in future I would love to move in some private house. My perfect home should be located near a big city, because then i can easily find a job and go to the university. That house should be surrounded with garden and should have very big windows which make the house bigger and brighter. The house has two floors and garage. On the first floor there are livingroom, kitchen with dining room , bathroom and toilet. In living room there are 2 big comfortable sofas and glass TV table. The walls are beige and furniture is gray and brown. When I go to the second floor, then there are three bedrooms, bathroom and big wardrobe. Two bedrooms are for my children and one for me and my husband. My bedroom is with balcony and faces south

ENGLISH TOPICS - palju teemasid inglise keele riigieksami kordamiseks

When school is over I go home. First of all I need to walk my dog. Then I have my dinner and a little rest. The teachers give us a lot of homework, so I start doing it about 16.30 or 17.00. As a rule it takes me two or three hours to do my home assignments. My parents get home about six o'clock. We watch soapopera on TV, have supper together. We share all the news, I tell about the lessons and school. After it, I help my mother to do some work about the house -- wash dishes, sweep the floor, clean the room. Twice a week in evenings I go play tennis. When I do not go to play tennis, I stay home and watch TV, listen to the music, read magazines. Sometimes my friends call me and we go for a walk. At eleven o'clock tired after a long working day I go to bed and fall asleep. Questions: 1. What time do you get up on your week-days? 2. Do you usually do your morning exercises? 3. Who cooks your breakfast? 4

My Ideal House - Kirjand

My Ideal House My ideal house would be a modern detached or semi-detached one. I don't know which of them yet because both points have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, detached house is great for privacy, but could become a little lonely on your own, whereas semi-detached house will offer you an opportunity to be friends with your neighbor. However, you never know who they might be they might throw dance parties in their house or be annoying in some other way. For the location, I would prefer residential area it would be nice and peaceful there. In addition to this, civilization and neighbors are close in case I needed them. My ideal house would be a spacious one. I would like three or four bedrooms, if that would be possible. One of them would be master bedroom, another one would be for guests and the remaining one or two would be nurseries. I would also want my house to have dining room as

House of my dreams

House of my dreams Vsevolod Dolgov So, today I want to tell you about my house and house of my dreams. I live in a three-bedroom flat with my mother and brother. Our flat is very big, well, it is very big for me. It is very warm in there, but my mom says it's cold. I have my own room, and it is very cool, because it is like my own flat. I have all my things in there, such things like: a computer, books, my big bed, a guitar and diplomas. There, in my room, is all my life, if you want to know something about me, all you need is to visit my room

smile. This is the best way to excite interest in something. Also I think that if a person is really active, he can engage other people in his activities all the time and this is really positive in the neighborhood. What about the future! Questions related to my future have become very frequent lately. People are all the time asking questions about my future and it is always been very hard to give a complete answer about it. I have mentioned my interests then and that at the moment my dream is to study political science in England after the military service here. To tell the truth, I don’t know who I would like to be in the future. To my mind, it is always hard to talk about future because it is a path of coincidences. Future events tends to appear unexpectedly- it is impossible to say which factors are going to determine my life in the end. My greatest goal in life is to be happy but the moment it is pretty difficult to say something certain about my future
