In 2004 there was released “Dear mr Morpingo: Inside the world of Michael Morpurgo”, written by Geoff Fox. In 2005 was released “Michael Morpurgo”,written by Shaun McCarthy. Favorites among his own books are The Butterfly Lion, Kensuke´s Kingdom, WarHorse and Private Peaceful. The book talks about a horse who lives on a farm and moves into the battles of World War I. It is a story of friendship lasting through the toughest tests. Michael Morpurgo tells the story trough the eyes of a horse. It is a moving and a powerful story of survival.
