CHANGE YOUR THINKING CHANGE YOUR LIFE

I felt trapped between big ideas on the one hand and limited resources and opportunities on the other. Then I discovered a series of re- markable principles that have been responsible for all the great suc- cesses and achievements of the ages, and my life changed forever. After proving these laws and principles in my own life, I began speaking, and training others to apply the same ideas. Since then, I have given more than two thousand talks and seminars as long as four days in length, in 24 countries, to a total of more than two mil- lion participants. Most of them were also skeptical when they first heard these ideas of optimism and possibility, until they learned what you are going to learn in the pages ahead. It changed their lives, as it will change yours. ■ THE GREAT PRINCIPLE Perhaps the most important mental and spiritual principle ever dis-

Steve Krug-Dont Make Me Think 2014

…adjust the heat in my house from anywhere …or deposit a check without going to an ATM It’s no flying car (which, come to think of it, we were promised we’d have by now), but it’s pretty impressive. TheWebitself kept improving.Even when I’m using my desktop computer to do all the things I’ve always done on theWeb(buying stuff, making travel plans, connecting with friends, reading the news, and settling bar bets), the sites I use tend to be much more powerful and useful than their predecessors. We’vecome to expect things like autosuggest and autocorrect, and we’re annoyed when wecan’tpay a parking ticket or renew a driver’s license online. Usability went mainstream. In 2000, not that many people understood the importance of usability. Now, thanks in large part to Steve Jobs (and Jonathan Ive), almost everyone understands that it’s important, even if they’re still not entirely sure what it is

· Women are stronger than men, because they can walk in a 12 cm stilettos without showing the pain. · Men would kill to protect women they love. Men were born because of women. Women.. We're special · It doesn't matter where, when, or how did we met. What matters is the fact that we did. · Loving someone so much doesn't always mean they're right one for us. · Wishes are for lazy people who can't get up and make their dreams come true on their own. Make it happen!

whether the right thing has been done in supposedly-analogous cases. It's simply irrelevant. You should do the right thing no matter what the rest of the world does. 52. The sincerity of a man's remorse is measured by whether he can refrain from taking potshots along with expressing it. 53. To one destined for purgatory, God says, "You try again." To one destined for hell, He says, "I'll try again." 54. Unless he's more intelligent than himself, there's no hope for a man. 55. Wants should subsidize needs. 56. We need to expand our sense of the possible and contract our sense of the probable. 57. What good is it to be able to read someone else's mind if you can't read your own? 58. When a moron meets a lesson, they annihilate one another. 59. While there is only one human race, there are lots of human losers. 60. Willingness to volunteer and suitability for the job to be done are two completely different things. 61

either from Britain or France. It was especially a poignant time for Africa, as then British Prime Minister Harold McMillan articulated his now famous “winds of change” sweeping Africa. We had high hopes for Africa, for the Black race, that the insidious imposition of foreign rule on us, the looting of Africa’s natural resources by our colonial masters accorded us would be things of history. That is more than forty years ago. Unfortunately, the promise of independence has not been fulfilled. Today, Africa has become more desolate; there is more starvation, diseases and non-provision of essential services than when we got our independence. There are all kinds of wars in Africa than the rest of world put together. The majority of so-called Africans leaders want to stay in power until the day their bodies are put in the grave

First of all, advertisements on TV are called commercials and to get air time on Tv is very expencive and not every company can offord it. Secondly, TV commercials mingt be the easyest way to advertise products because for example in the radio You can not see the product, you can only hear what people are talking about it. On the other hand, nowadays the popularity of TV commercials is getting smaller because of the Internet. More and more people use Internet more than they watch TV. In conclusion, Allthough advertising on TV is the easyest way to advertise, it might me a bit too expencive for some companies and they shouls consider advertising on the Internet. the beauty that is an essential part of their own innermost being, their true nature. The first recognition of beauty was one of the most significant events in the evolution of human consciousness. The feelings of joy and love are intrinsically connected to that recognition. Without our fully realizing it, flowers would become for us an expression in form of that which is most high, most sacred, and ultimately formless within ourselves. Flowers, more fleeting, more ethereal and more delicate than the plants out of which they emerged, would become like messengers from another realm, like a bridge between the world of physical forms and the formless. They not only had a scent that was delicate and pleasing to humans, but also brought a fragrance from the realm of spirit. Using the word “enlightenment” in a wider sense than the conventionally accepted one, we could look upon flowers as the enlightenment of plants.
