behaviors or ideas from our friends, in order to appease the inner rebel inside of us. Teenagers act according to the norm that is prominent in the group they are apart of. For example, the punk movement will possibly penetrate different groups and to feel apart of the group, teens will also dress accordingly. On the other hand, our parents behavior will have an influence on us, especially in our younger years. The way we are brought up and how our parents communicate with us is directly correlated to our development and later life. While it can be argued that friends will have the strongest influence on each other, one must not forget that we first befriend our family and later on find friends outside of the family circle.
A decreased risk of coronary artery disease in men participants was thought to be the result of their higher intake of dietary fiber or lower intake of total or saturated fat.13 When comparing the figures 1 and 2 in the appendix, it is clear that women tend to be at higher risk for developing coronary artery disease compared to men, taking all dietary groups into consideration. Lower consumption of fat was correlated with higher mortality rates in vegetarian men, therefore it can be assumed that women of all dietary groups were at higher risk for developing coronary artery disease because of their higher fat 13 Roland Phillips, ‘’Coronary heart disease mortality among Seventh-Day Adventists with differing dietary habits: a preliminary report’’, the American journal of clinical nutrition, http:// ajcn.nutrition.org/content/31/10/S191.abstract?
The occupancy drops significantly in the July and August which is probably due to the fact that businesses generally run slower in that part of the summer (due to plague of vacations) in the northern hemisphere on latitudes with explicit seasonal changes. Therefore, the hotel must be located on the part of the globe described. The occupancy by women seems to be somewhat statistically correlated with percentage of tourists residing in the hotel. This may imply that the most business people staying in the hotel are men. The women occupancy seems to peak at three points: April, October and December. The latter is probably due to couples and families (influx of people aged under 20 is in December and October too) going on vacation for Christmas, New Year's Eve and other seasonal holidays.

Australia Kaspar Rätsep G1A Australian nature · Australian nature is extremely diverse and interesting. It's the driest inhabited continent, only its south-east and south-west corners have a temperate climate. · The climate of Australia is significantly influenced by ocean currents, which is correlated with periodic drought, and produces cyclones in northern Australia. · Much of the northern part of the country has a tropical summer rainfall (monsoon) climate. The southwest corner of the country has a Mediterranean climate. Much of the southeast is temperate. · Climate change has become an increasing concern in Australia in recent years, with many Australians considering protection of the environment to be the most important issue facing the country.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) The gross domestic product (GDP) or gross domestic income (GDI) is a measure of a country's overall economic output. It is the market value of all final goods and services made within the borders of a country in a year. It is often positively correlated with the standard of living, alternative measures to GDP for that purpose. · Gross domestic product comes under the heading of national accounts, which is a subject in macroeconomics. Gross National Product Gross national product (GNP), in economics, a quantitative measure of a nation's total economic activity, generally assessed yearly or quarterly. The GNP equals the gross domestic product plus income earned by domestic residents through
in the past. Clearing is carried out by the grazing industry in an attempt to increase the quality and quantity of feed available for stock and to improve the management of livestock. The removal of trees from savanna land removes the competition for water from the grasses present, and can lead to a two to fourfold increase in pasture production, as well as improving the quality of the feed available. Since stock carrying capacity is strongly correlated with herbage yield there can be major financial benefits from the removal of trees. The removal of trees also assists grazing management. For example in sheep grazing regions of dense tree and shrub cover harbours predators, leading to increased stock losses while woody plant cover hinders mustering in both sheep and cattle areas. A number of techniques have been employed to clear or kill woody plants in savanna. Early
This is a software tool for non-intrusive assessment of speech quality and measurement of RTP/RTCP traffic parameters in VoIP networks. VoIP Monitor analyses the RTP traffic to produce real-time useful statistical -8- data and predictions of speech quality across a single call or a number of calls. A calibration file, tailored to the gateway or VoIP terminal refines the speech quality prediction and gives a better correlated Mean Opinion Score (MOS) value than any other monitoring method. Figure 6.The interface of VoIP Monitor Professional application VoIP Monitor Professional analyses the Voice over IP traffic by monitoring live RTP/RTCP traffic streams. The performance of a VoIP transmission network can be characterised mainly in terms of Packet Loss and Jitter. Figure 7.Jitter buffering and packet loss concealment

· The length of vowels is also relevant--long vowels tend to sound more peaceful and solemn than short ones. Rhyme--is a special kind of regular sound repetition occurring at the end of poetic lines or at other, symmetrically placed stretches of a poem. Rhyming words are often situated at a regular distance from each other. Rhyme is the most obvious regular sound pattern in poetry that helps to structure ideas by linking lines together through similarities in the sounds of correlated words. Rhyming words have either similar or identical sound combinations. Full rhymes--repetition of the last stressed vowel and the following consonant (miss- kiss, mellow-yellow) Incomplete rhymes--require identical vowels, whereas consonants are different (pen- best, balm-path) Consonant rhymes--consist of identical consonants and dissimilar vowels (live-love, crisp-grasp) Compound rhymes--made up of two or more words, united by a single stress, that
and more countries experienced downturn in real estate market. Considering house price index, on 2009 there were 4 to 5 countries whose real estate market was rising. All other countries were experiencing recession. The first cluster of countries experienced an anomaly in real estate market. Countries identified to have similar real estate market patterns were Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ireland. Housing cycle dynamics in Baltic countries were similar and correlated within this cluster, where also Ireland belonged. Between 2005 and 2007, the property became almost twice the value of the index. In 2007, real estate prices were at the peak, after which there was a sharp decline. Whilst Baltic countries were similar with GDP dynamics as well, correlation with Ireland GDP was somewhat lower. Considering housing cycle in second cluster, common group of Germany, France, Finland and Great Britain was also identified. Second cluster had

Rhyme is the most obvious regular sound pattern in poetry that helps to structure ideas by linking lines together through similarities in the sounds of correlated words. The rhyming words have either identical or similar sound combinations. Identity of sounds results in full rhymes, comprising the repetition of the last stressed vowel and the following consonant: tide - side, gold - cold, land - hand, miss - kiss. Incomplete rhymes derive from certain modifications of full rhymes. Incomplete Vowel rhymes require identical vowels, whereas consonants are different: world - serve, bulb - skull, pen - best

These pixels are identical to the imaging pixel elements, but are shielded from light. The output from these elements is a result only of the non-light-induced charge accumulation in the device. In most systems, this is subtracted from the values of the light-gathering pixels to eliminate unwanted offsets in the result. The subtraction can be accomplished either by software, or by captur- ing the dark value in a sample-and-hold and performing the subtraction before the ADC. Correlated Double Sampling (CDS) One way to reduce the noise in the CCD result is to use correlated double sampling (CDS). As shown in Figure 3.22, CDS uses two sample/hold circuits. One S/H captures the CCD output immediately after reset, when the CCD output is at the reset level. The other S/H captures the CCD output when the charge value is present. A differential amplifier provides the difference between the two levels to the ADC. Of course, the timing logic that generates
poem. Rhyming words are often situated at a regular distance from each other. Rhyme has a twofold nature. As any sound repetition, it plays an important role in sound orchestration. Being regularly repeated throughout poetic lines, it has pronounced rhythmical (and compositional) qualities. In other words, rhyme is the most obvious regular sound pattern in poetry that helps to structure ideas by linking lines together through similarities in the sounds of correlated words. The rhyming words have either identical or similar sound combinations. Identity of sounds results in full rhymes, comprising the repetition of the last stressed vowel and the following consonant (or consonant): blushes - thrushes, tide - side, mellow - yellow, gold - cold, land - hand, grasp - clasp, miss - kiss. Incomplete rhymes derive from certain modifications of full rhymes. Thus, incomplete
Although the speakers' level of proficiency in these languages is duly mentioned for each of them, this unusual and widely spread gift for communication in Western languages, after a long period of nationalist dictatorship, is never questioned by the travellers. It is never correlated with broader notions of openness to the foreign, hospitality, generosity, and wish for acceptance into wider global spaces. Such qualities are only presented as part of the `positive side' of the Romanians' inscribed identity. They are only highlighted in terms of language-

Also, to manage and control this network of partners and suppliers requires a blend of both central and local involvement. Hence, strategic decisions need to be taken centrally with the monitoring and control of supplier performance and day-to-day liaison with logistics partners being best managed at a local level. 7. Performance Measurement: By taking advantage of supplier capabilities and emphasizing a long- term supply chain perspective in customer relationships can be both correlated with firm performance. As logistics competency becomes a more critical factor in creating and maintaining competitive advantage, logistics measurement becomes increasingly important because the difference between profitable and unprofitable operations becomes narrower. As Kearney Consultants (1985) noted that firms engaging in comprehensive performance measurement realized improvements in overall productivity. According to
Measured data were analysed in Excel and TSAPWin programs. Results show that yearly growth of bog pines was the biggest during 1960-1990 - clear agreement with earlier studies. During last decades the growth has dropped: in Kõrgesoo back to level of 60s, in Puhatu on slightly higher level. Thus, nice agreement with the use of oil shale - the main source of alkaline and nutrient-rich pollution in area is observable. Changes in growth rates were well correlated with the distance of bogs from power plants, age of trees and at Selisoo also with drainage activities. The increase and drop of growth is the most evident for younger trees and almost zero for trees over 100 years old. Thus, younger trees are recommended to study nutrient load influence on growth of trees in bogs Keywords: bog pine, radial growth, alkaline pollution, nutrients, age of trees 3 SISUKORD SISSEJUHATUS ...........................

Why is obesity so much more common today than it was even a few decades ago? Researchers are starting to nd bacterial clues that may point to an answer. There has been a profound shift in our populations of gut bacteria--the little creatures that live in our digestive tracts--and studies show the changes as correlated with increased fatness. There are actually 10 times more bacterial cells in your body than human cells: 100 trillion of them to 10 trillion of you. For the most part, these bugs help us, improving our immune system, providing vitamins, and preventing other harmful bacteria from infecting us. These bacteria also regulate how well we harvest energy from our food. So far, two primary strains of bacteria have been found to in uence fat absorption, almost
Some strings of marks or noises in the air are just strings of marks or noises in the air, whereas others--particularly whole sentences--are meaningful. What is the difference? Perhaps that is the basic question for the theory of meaning. 66 Theories of meaning Second, we sometimes say that two distinct expressions are synonymous. Third, we sometimes say of a single expression that it is ambiguous, that is, that it has more than one meaning. (So expressions and meanings are not correlated one to one.) Fourth, we sometimes say that one expression's meaning is contained in that of another, as female and deer are contained in the meaning of "doe." An important special case here is that of one sentence's entailing another: "Harold is fat and Ben is stupid" entails "Ben is stupid." (There is joint entailment too: "Grannie is either in the holding cell or in court already" and "Grannie is not in the holding cell" together entail "Grannie is
