Electric car (biological cars)

Electric car appeared before the internal combustion engine. The first electric car in the form of a truck with an electric motor was established in 1841. Limitations · The large mass of the batteries. · Battery charging time, but there are ways to "quick charge" to the part-time battery capacity. · In most cases, low dynamic performance. · In some hybrids in general there are no electric batteries. · The major auto companies after the 2000s, paid little attention to electric cars in favor of hybrids. and many other Advantages · Overall simplicity of design and management in comparison with hybrid vehicles. · lower number mechanical parts and components. · Improved reliability. · Ease of repair and service, and as a result, and lower operation cost. · Less pollution. No transmission unlike mechanical hybrids. modern Application The world leader in electric transportation - China. widely used in various enterprises

Cars enslave us rather than liberate us

Transportation is something that has a big influence on people's lives. Especially cars that offer the best comfort for humans. There is always a need to go somewhere: to school, work or just for a journey and it is always good to reach a destination as soon as possible. Of course, the importance of the car depends on the person's residence, whether the person lives in a city or in the countryside, the needs are different. In my opinion, cars enslave people because once a person gets behind the wheel, there is no way out of this comfort. To begin with, car requires a many expenditure, starting from purchasing a car and ending with technical controls, supplying of fuel and so on. It can be said that the material side of the car sustenance is difficult. A person must have a stable income to afford a car. Moreover, it is expensive to get a driver's license. It can be said that owning a car is an expensive pleasure.

Cars should be banned in city centers

Cars should be banned in city centers Nowadays, most of the people have their own car. Most of them say that they can´t live without it.Many environmentalists opinion is that cars should be banned in city centers. I support this view for a variety of reasons. First and the most important thing is the pollution. Using cars increase the level of pollution in big city centers. This is especially important because town centers always consist of tall buildings and narrow streets which often hold the pollution in one spot.Global warming is big problem all around the world. So, people should use public transport instead of their own car, if they do think about the nature and the air they breathe every second. Secondly, with less traffic there would be fewer accidents. Nowadays many

Rallying

Rallying Tarmo Torn The term "rally", as a branch of motorsport, probably dates from the first Monte Carlo Rally of January 1911. The first of these great races was the ParisBordeauxParis race of June 1895, won by Paul Koechlin in a Peugeot, despiting arriving 11 hours after Émile Levassor in a Panhard et Levassor. There are two main forms: stage rallies and road rallies. Since the 1960s, stage rallies have been the professional branch of the sport. Drivers Most of the works drivers of the 1950s were amateurs, paid little or nothing, reimbursed their expenses and given bonuses for winning. Then in 1960 came arguably the first rallying superstar Sweden's Erik Carlsson, driving for Saab. Sébastien Loeb, the world's most successful rally driver in terms of WRC wins. Cars are the greatest danger to human life today

Cars are the greatest danger to human life today Nowadays driving with cars are very popular because they are very convenient and fast. Even though, there are people, who don't use cars for their own reasons. In my opinion, cars are useful and they give us more personal freedom. In the first place, there are a lot of people, who die in a car accident every year. The way I see it, is that peole themselves cause the greatest harm to society, not cars. Cars are not all dangerous if they're driven with care and attention. Another major reason is that cars give us more personal freedom. We can decide where and when we want to travel without having to rely on anyone else. Furthermore, cars are very small and comfortable, that we can easily drive close to different buildings. People argue that cities would be less polluted if cars were banned. They are on

comrade Hammond arrived, it was time to get in to our wetsuits. As I imagined it was all fine for me and well not so good for neither the lunatic nor the retard. When we finally started surfing I couldn't help but notice how easy it all was. For some unknow reason it wasn't that easy for the lunatic or the retard, maybe it was the fact that they were actually trying to do it properly but we can't be sure. As the morons tried and tried I finally noticed that the sea level was rising and our cars would soon be flooded. Richard and James ran straight to their cars with their wetsuits still on as I decided to get changed first. It turned out to be a bad idea but in the end it all went well. As it was getting past the afternoon tea time we decided that we had to make ourselves something to eat. We stopped at the gas station in order to buy some ingredients. Having shopped we went back to the campsite and started to cook

Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment

Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment Just like our bodies, the environment functions best when it's in balance. Unfortunately, we're not quite there. Many of us believe that we lead lives that respect nature but our consumption habits give us away. Many little habits that seem to be sustainable are in fact polluting. Along with pollution, issues like depletion of resources, the rise of consumerism, and the "throw away" culture have led to serious issues. That being said, the fight's not over yet. Fortunately, more people than ever are both aware of and active in the protection of the environment. To protect the environment, waste management and recycling are crucial. When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. If used materials are not recycled, new products are made by extracting fresh, raw material from the Earth, through mining and forestry. R...

My favorite car

ESSEE Kaspar Kallas MY FAVORITE CAR (AUT-12) Many people have a favorite car and most people like new cars, but I dont. I like old classic cars, like Lada (vaz) and some old american musclecars. I have four favorite cars. My favorite cars are Vaz 2106, vaz 2107, 1968 Chevrolet camaro ss and Pontiac Trans am. I have one of these cars whic is a 27 years old Vaz 2106 and it still works and drives well. I like Ladas because they have rear wheel drive and are realy cheap and reliable cars and have cheap parts which are sold in almost every town in Estonia. It's easy to repair a Lada when you know something about cars. I like musclecars because they look cool and have a powerful engines what makes a nice noise. In the future I want to buy a Chevrolet camaro ss or Pontiac Trans am.

Honda Family

Honda Family Once upon a time there lived five cars. All cars were brothers and they were Honda family. White car's name was Civic, blue car's name was Accord, black car's name was Prelude, grey car's name was CRX and red car's name was Jazz. All ten years they had driven all around the world, but now they shouldn't go anywhere, because they didn't have a place, where five cars hadn't been. They thought that they will go there, where all life began, to Japan. Japan was much bigger, than it was ten years ago. They thought that now they should live usual life, just like ohter cars in this world do. They decided to live in Tokyo. Tokyo was a big city then and they lived very individuaal life in the garage. In Tokyo, there was a car event. The car event's name was Tokyo Drift. One day, five cars met each other and they decided to make career together

Although over the years more women have started to use a car, but the change between male and female car users have still persisted. Females have started to make working-career by themselves and the need for transportation has increased; one of the comfortable ways to get to a work would definitely be a car. Housewives can also use car to do the grocery shopping or to take children to school. (http://academic.mintel.com A) Since 1998 more and more households are owing 2 cars. The percentage has been raised 6,4 per cent from 1998 to 2004. Although the overall percentage of car owning have went down by 0,7 per cent at the same period. The survey taken in 2004 december shows that people who are using car to go to work is 29 per cent and 25 per cent use car to take out their family. 26 per cent have a household at size 4 and to take family out they will propably use a bigger car than mini because it will not be so comfortable to squeeze four people in to a mini

The invention of the car changed the world

That knowledgeable man was Henry Ford who invented a machine, which was called automobile. Nowadays it is known as a car. Inventing a car made our lives easier. Nowadays people can move much faster from one place to the other and it is also more comfortable. There are very many different functions of automobiles. They are used primely for transporting things and people as well. Cars are very useful for people, but not beneficial for nature. Year after year people buy more cars instead of taking a bus. Owing to this, the air pollution has been doubled up in few years. It's not only nature that gets damaged by cars. People could also get injured and some of them may even die in car accidents. Accidents are caused mostly by people, but sometimes of the technical problems. So cars are not completely reliable. Cars changed the transportation industry forever. No longer did you have to ride a horse or use your energy to ride a bike. All you

I am interested in buying a car for traveling through the Europe. I would like to know how fast is this car and if it consumes petrol or any other fuel. I would also like to know more about the test drive. I am interested in buying it, so I would be grateful if I could test this car . I wonder how many people can this car carry. I am living alone, so it would be better if car would look smaller

Fast 2 Furious

,,2 Fast 2 Furious" is the sequel to 2001's wildly popular ,,The Fast and the Furious". Once again the movie revolves around street racing, but this is a very different film from the original. This movie finds Brian kicked off by the police force when streetracing in Miami. He gets busted and the FBI cuts a deal whereby his record will be cleaned if he goes undercover to help them get a dirty information. The allure of these movies isn't the plot though. It's the cars and the racing. In my opinion, this movie is a bit better than the first. The movie has an entirely different feel from the first. The races are a little longer as they're not just doing quarter mile drag races and there are also some massive chase sequences that tear up a lot of cars. We were pleased to see lots of different types of performance cars getting representation this time.

The invention of the car changed the world

The invention of the car changed the world. World is used to move unstoppably. How many of us can possibly imagine our everyday life without cars in it? We´d find it to be rather difficult. Probably the fact would blow up our day schedules and most of the plans that are made. In the olden days, a car was a poduct which was ment to be only for the rich ones. To the contrary, nowadays cars are very easily available for everyone (!).Speaking of which, it´s not much to mention that one extremely wierd and sad occasion would be that some people take advantage of haveing a car and tend to take up too high speeds for showing how tough fellows they are. Often boasting like this can cause big devastations, meaning accidents and all kinds of fines, not mentioning times, when a driver might be under influence of the alcohol, which is definitely the worst possibility of all

People are buying more cars than ever, and are starting to forget what is walking; they tend to forget that walking is also one of the ways of traveling. But which is better travelling by car or walking on foot? On the one hand, travelling by car is much quicker than travelling on foot, on foot, people are travelling about 5 km/h, but with car, you can travel so fast, how fast you are allowed to. Also, car is much more comfortable, especially nowadays. But the biggest plus in travelling by car in my opinion, is that, when

How can we reduce air pollution level in cities?

How can we reduce air pollution level in cities? The air pollution levels are extremely high in cities, but how can people change this situation? Cars and big factories emit lots of deleterious gases into the air, for example carbonic acid gas, cities are not healthy places to live anymore. Firstly, we should using the public transport. Everybody can walk and bicycle instead of driving cars. Vehicles emit a lot of harmful gases into the air. Every family member does not need his or her own car. One car for the whole family would minimise the number of cars in cities and air pollution levels will come down. Secondly, people have to recycle. It would help reduce factories work. It will emit less harmful gases into the air. Finally, we should plant more trees in cities and also create more national parks. They produce oxygen.

Car

carries its own engine or motor. Most definitions of the term specify that automobiles are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods. The term motorcar has also been used in the context of electrified rail systems to denote a car which functions as a small locomotive but also provides space for passengers and baggage. These locomotive cars were often used on suburban routes by both interurban and intercity railroad systems. There are approximately 600 million passenger cars worldwide (roughly one car per eleven people). Around the world, there were about 806 million cars and light trucks on the road in Two thousand seven ; the engines of these burn over a billion cubic meters (260 billion US gallons) of petrol/gasoline and diesel fuel yearly. The numbers are increasing rapidly, especially in China and India. This is all.

Environment in Estonia

Environment in Estonia The aim of the report is to discuss environmental issues in Estonia, what kind of problems we have, what causes these problems and what have been done to solve them. Firstly, the main issue is pollution, that is caused by our own carelessness and thoughlessness. In Estonia there are too many old cars and other vehicles, which exhaust fumes that pollute air what we breathe. Although, there are some newer vehicles like busses and cars that contaminate less and even few electric cars, people do not pay enough attention to it. When the levels of pollution are too high, it may cause some serious diseases. The second aspect is that people fell quite a lot of trees, but that is not so big problem. In Estonia there are a lot of forests and groves. Also, people are planting new trees all the time and know abot the importance of green. Lastly, one of the issues is that people consume too much and therefore

Environment and transportation

The following 10 activities will be a great help in solving our transportation problems. Do as many of these as you can, and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Together we can make a difference! 1. Get a Better Vehicle --- If you need to drive, replace your old car with one of the new hybrid gas and electric cars - and you could save as much as $11,000 on gas and produce 107 fewer tons of carbon dioxide. The new efficient hybrids are reliable and drive just like standard cars. If you make no other transportation changes in your life, this one will make a huge difference. 2. Walk to Your Destination --- If it's a reasonable distance, you'll save energy and improve your health. Walking also helps to reduce tension and stress. Get some good walking shoes, dress for the weather, and hoof it! 3. Ride Your Bike --- If you need to travel a greater distance, take your bike. Again, it's good exercise, it feels great and it's fun. 4

School will be called a ,,work force". There will be no more textbooks, paper, pens or pencils. Everything will be done electronically. Classes will be conjoyned together such as, English and History, Math and Science, etc. School will be more interesting and fun, plus school days will be shorter. By 2050 the work will be much easier. People will use computers to do their job. Everyone will have equal pay. The work days will be shorter. Humans have to work only 5 hours. In transport, cars will run on new, clean fuels and they will go very fast. Cars will have computers to control the speed of the car and there won't be any accidents. Today, many cars have computers that tell drivers exactly where they are. By 2050, the computer will control the car and drive it to your destination. On the other hand, space planes will take people halfway around the world in two hours. In the 2050 people can order the drinks and foods what she or he wants. There will be special

The topic Im going to speak about is marriage

there is no sense to marry. A wedding is something that happend with every person in our world. People need to understand this and take it as seriously as possible. I understand that there are many religions and cultures, but the points should be the same. In conclusion want to say, that everyone makes his choice. Anyway i welcome the choice of each person and with this impossible to argue. Some people say that everyone should use public transport instead of cars. Do you agree? The topic im going to speak about public transport. There is an opinion that some people say that everyone should use public transport instead of cars. I don’t agree with that argument, because riding on public transport is not always comfortable and convenient. Firstly I would like to say that you have to adjust the time and you cant go where you need at any time. For example to call a taxi you have to wait when in will arrive.

Environmental issues in Estonia

But our planet is threaten by environmental problems. Even a small country like Estonia can make difference. Our capital city is fighting against air pollution. But people produce much refuse and ways of recycling are getting old. Water pollution is also a problem in Estonia. We have factories that let their waste run into rivers. One of the biggest problems in Estonia is air pollution. Our air is polluted by exhaust fumes, because today we have a lot of cars, buses and other machines. In 2009 we had 407 cars to thousand inhabitants, which is lower than European Union average, but this number is still high. Because cars produce gases that contain carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide in the air causes global warming, which is the result of the greenhouse effect. Tallinn wants to fight against it by offering public transportation for free, to Tallinn citizen. So that people would use more public transportation than their own car

Report

Dear Sir, The report describes the problem of student transport. In order to prepare this report we interviewed students from all parts of college. According to students we spoke to, the car park is used by a lot of visitors and year by year more students have more cars. Not surprisingly, the car park becomes full and there are not enough possibilities to leave car. The second problem is that the buses often run late and are always full. The majority of students cannot afford the taxi fare from home to college. Some of them are unwilling to go on foot, because they are living far from college. The most realistic solution is to improve the bus service, writing to bus company. As a result good public transport will reduce the number of private cars.

My Super car - Ford Mustang

York World's Fair. It was Ford's most successful launch. Leading stylist John Najjar, who was a fan of the World War II Mustang fighter plane, suggested the name. The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobile sports car sedans with long hoods and short rear ends, gave rise to competitors such as GM's Camaro , AMC's Javelin, and Chrysler's. Mustangs grew larger and heavier with each model. Although some other pony cars have seen a survival, the Mustang is the only original pony car that has remained in production without interruption after fourty years of development and development. I like this car because these cars have very good look and powerful engines. One day I want to buy one for my own. And then I can show off with it. Tõnis Kruusement AT108

How can we make our cities more environmentally friendly?

How can we make our cities more environmentally friendly? If I walk along the city streets, I feel a terrible smell. That comes from cars. It makes me feel very ill. Then I just have to step on trash, because people can't wait and look for a bin. That's why our streets are so dirty. Everywhere I go, there are always some workmen building big houses. If we improved public transport or made electric cars, our streets wouldn't be so polluted. In Tallinn, for example, the air there is so polluted, that you can hardly breathe there. If the authorities put bins everywhere in the streets, our cities would be cleaner. The second thing is, that people still drop litter on the ground, even if there is a bin somewhere nearby. If we didn't build so much houses all around cities, we could save money from that and better build animal parks, green areas and playgrounds for children. If there

How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities?

How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities? Is the air in our cities clean? Unfortunately does not seem like it. Air is getting more polluted every day and we are constantly breathing that air. We need to do something fast before it is too late. Firstly, there is too much traffic in the city centre and cars emit bad fumes. A good idea would be to introduce parking and riding schemes. In this way there will be fewer cars in the city centre and in longer perspective air will get a lot cleaner. Another problem are factories polluting the air. There are so many factories that there is always smoke covering the city. It would help if we could create industrial parks. In this way less smoke will cover the city. Also a big issue is rubbish being burned. It would be a good idea to introduce a recycling scheme. In result less rubbish will get burned. In conclusion, there are many ways to make our cities cleaner

The environment in realtion to mobility/transport in Europe

for long time. To keep our environment to be cleaner we have to be more responsible. People may try to restrict population growth, use less energy, improve energy efficiency, reduce waste and move to non-polluting renewable forms of energy production. Also, automobile-produced pollution can be decreased with highly beneficial results like a hybrid-cars. Many countries have green day weeks, when people don't use their cars, but they travel by buses or bicycles. Estonia has this week also. The 11tk edition of Green Week. The biggest annual conference on European environment policy, will be take place from 24 to 27 May 2011 in Brussels. This years theme is "Resources Efficiency- Using less, living better". Resources efficiency means using the Earth´s limited resources in a sustainable manner. It means producing more value with fewer inputs, lessening our impact on the environment

Environmental problems in Estonia

· Excessive tree felling · Air pollution · Eutrophication Oil shale mining and burning. Estonia environmental problems are mostly caused by oil shale mining and burning. About 30 000 Hectare ground is unusable. We have a large ash mountains thanks to burning of oil shale. To reduce pollution we need to decrease mining of oil shale and shale-based electricity producing. Air pollution the biggest air pollution is in large cities. It´s caused by big factories, a lot cars and deficient environment ordinance. To decrease air pollution we need to use less cars and more public transport. Eutrophication It means water enrichment of nutrient. In eutrophic water there is less oxygen and water quality low. There are some things to improve it: · To disable phosphate use in detergents · Eliminate sources of pollution Example, Estonia eutrophic lakes are Võrtsjärv and Vasula järv. Excessive tree felling

Environment

I'd like to present the main issues of our planet and today i'll name 5 of them. These are air pollution, water pollution, endangered animals, deforestation and rubbish. Air pollution Firstly, lets talk about air pollution, which endangeres our life in cities and also the forests near by. Cars and factories blow poisoned gas in the air and it mixes with the oxygen, so the air that we breathe, becomes dangerous to our health. The ozone layer around the Earth, there is a special type of oxygen called ,,ozone". Ozone is important because it stops ultraviolett radiation from the sun. Many aerosol sprays and factories destroy ozone and they have made a very big hole in the ozone layer. This means that too much ultraviolet radiation now enters the Earth

Complain letter

18.01.2011 Dear Mr/Ms Owner; Allow me to say that I truly love your product and I have shopped at your establishment on a regular basis. I have enjoyed your product so much, in fact, that I have often recommended it to my friends and acquaintances. Unfortunately, I find that I am no longer comfortable in your establishment because of the frequent and obnoxious thumping of boom cars. I estimate that I spend more than $1,000 a year in your store, and I feel badly that my friends and I are forced to put that into a competitor's cash register. I would rather it go to you which is why I am writing. I think it's a tragedy when a group of obnoxious idiots are allowed to interfere with our daily lives and pursuits. At times, I get some of that noise near my home, and I certainly call the police when I hear offenders in my own neighborhood. My insistence at having them enforce

On automobiles with their trunk in the rear, decklids sometimes incorporate a center mounted third brake light (Center High Mount Stop Lamp or CHMSL). REPORT

Paper and glass recycling is well organized. We have paper and glass containers and workers are cleaning them daily basis. Due to the fact that overall life in Poku is good we still have some problematic things to consider. Nowadays government has started to cut trees near Poku. This affects development of animals living in these areas because it takes away living areas of these animals. Air pollution is also rising because of overall pollution coming from distant cities and from cars that tourists use to visit the area. People who are visiting Poku are also leaving too much trash behind. Plastic and chemicals recycling is also problematic because right now there is little ways to recycle them. I recommend that we could use extra trash bins, so tourist could always put their trash in proper places. Car park situated in proper distant from Poku would be good solution to fight air pollution
