Car v. walking
Today, people are becoming more and more comfortable and lazier. People are buying more cars than ever, and are starting to forget what is walking; they tend to forget that walking is also one of the ways of traveling. But which is better travelling by car or walking on foot ?
On the one hand , travelling by car is much quicker than travelling on foot, on foot, people are travelling about 5 km/h, but with car, you can travel so fast , how fast you are allowed to. Also, car is much more comfortable, especially nowadays . But the biggest plus in travelling by car in my opinion, is that, when you are travelling by car you can travel long distances, but when you are walking, you can travel about 10 km and then human organism needs a rest . But there is no healthier travelling way than walking; when people are walking every day their health becomes strong and when human body is trained and strong, then it is strong against illness .
On the other hand, travelling by car isn’t so good and healthy as it seems. Some people don’t even know that cars are one of the biggest nature and air polluters, cars are the major producers of carbon dioxide. Also cars are very expensive compared with walking, you need to buy a car and then regularly fill the car with petrol, what costs a lot of money and then there is the insurance and so on and on. But when you are walking you don’t need to waste money and you can enjoy the beautiful weather.
To sum up the whole story, there is no correct answer , which is better, travelling by car or walking on foot. In each travelling ways there have their pluses and minuses , when you want to travel long distance you better take a car and when you want to be healthy and save the nature you better walk. When you don’t like any of these travelling ways, don’t worry , there is plenty more different ways of travel waiting for you.

Travelling

It is very pleasant to see the rise and fall of the waves, to feel the fresh sea wind blowing and hear the cry of the seagulls. Trips on the Volga, the Dnieper, the Yenisei, the Black Sea are very popular today. Many people like to travel by car. It is interesting too, because you can stop when and where you like, you do not have to buy tickets or carry your suitcases. A very popular method of travelling is hiking. It is travelling on foot. Walking tours are very interesting. Hitch-hiking is a very popular method of travelling among young people. But it is not so popular in our country as abroad. Whether we like it or not, at some point most people will have to deal with some kind of unexpected situation while travelling abroad. Situations that arise can be quite varied; from less pressing problems such as losing your luggage or getting lost, to bigger problems such as running out of money or a health emergency

I’m interested in visiting Vilsandi. It’s the most western habited island of Estonia. The area of the island and the surrounding sea with some islets form a national park. Thousands of sea birds stop there and it hosts a lot of seals. The nature of Vilsandi is really rich – more than 30 species of orchids, juniper bushes and fossiled corals can be found there. The most fun part though is that often in the summer you can walk there through the sea from Saaremaa. 3. Which Estonian dishes should be introduced to foreigners? I think the most important part is the black bread. A lot of Estonian dishes can be a bit bland, so I’d personally recommend the snacks (like small pies or sprat sandwich) and sweets (like kohuke or kama). 4. What souvenirs are popular in your country?

radio, usually I listen to radio. I put on my clothes, comb my hair, put a little make-ups. By that time my breakfast is ready (my mother cooks it for me). At a quarter to eight I grab my bag and rush to my school. My school starts at 8 o'clock and I don't like to be late. Usually I have six or seven lessons a day, it lasts till 3 o'clock. After each lesson there is a break, so I can talk to my friends or eat my sandwich. When school is over I go home. First of all I need to walk my dog. Then I have my dinner and a little rest. The teachers give us a lot of homework, so I start doing it about 16.30 or 17.00. As a rule it takes me two or three hours to do my home assignments. My parents get home about six o'clock. We watch soapopera on TV, have supper together. We share all the news, I tell about the lessons and school. After it, I help my mother to do some work about the house -- wash dishes, sweep the floor, clean the room.

Environment and transportation

Together we can make a difference! 1. Get a Better Vehicle --- If you need to drive, replace your old car with one of the new hybrid gas and electric cars - and you could save as much as $11,000 on gas and produce 107 fewer tons of carbon dioxide. The new efficient hybrids are reliable and drive just like standard cars. If you make no other transportation changes in your life, this one will make a huge difference. 2. Walk to Your Destination --- If it's a reasonable distance, you'll save energy and improve your health. Walking also helps to reduce tension and stress. Get some good walking shoes, dress for the weather, and hoof it! 3. Ride Your Bike --- If you need to travel a greater distance, take your bike. Again, it's good exercise, it feels great and it's fun. 4. Take a Bus --- Many communities have a public transit system. We all need to use and
