My Dreams and Ambitions

My dreams and ambitions If I could visit any country in the world, then it would be Thailand. I'ts a wonderful country. My parents have been there for three times. I've always wanted to see Thailands wildlife and safari, also I'd like to go diving. That would be my first choice. My second choice would be go to China. If I could meet a famous person, I tink I'd like to meet Akon. He is an exellent singer, he has a mindblowing voice and his songs are beautiful. If someone would give me 500$, then I'd buy to have a television and DVD player in my room. If I could change my appearence, then I'd like to have bigger eyes. Mines are too small. My dream is to become a very good and famous photographer. I want to go to learn photography and I have done this already for 2 years.

On the one hand, there are some people who are able to kill houndreds of innocent victims to make his goal realized, because he has a power and he is allowed to do everything he wants. In addition to that, sometimes people use a war just to justify their revenge, they just use the power, they have, to satisfy own ambitions to feel a win's spirit. So they become winners, but it is only formally. On the other hand, there is only one advantage of a war getting some territory or money, but it has much more disadvantages like violence, distraction, houndreds of innocent victims, human's deaths etc. What's more, millions of veterans and their children would remember cruelty, violence and rudeness. In conclusion, I would like to say that war has neither winners nor losers. If somebody wins a

I can only imagine how Liisa-Maria Pihlak, 12B hard it must’ve been for a teenage girl, to start acting like an adult to due such circumstances. Julie’s father used to make fun of her ambitions of becoming a famous athlete, however she was actually pretty talented. She held a local record for sprint and often trained in school for the athletics team. Jack described Julie having a high ridge of cheekbone beneath her eyes, which gave her the deep look of some rare wild animal. In electric light her eyes were black and big. The soft line of her mouth was just broken by two front teeth and she had to pout a little to conceal her smile. Jack obviously longed to examine his older sister.

Jamal's upbringing and his conflict with Prem made me as the audience understand the theme of "Love conquering all". Boyle was trying to show that love is a powerful tool, and can drive people to do anything, like win a game show. As Boyle said, "What matters to the characters in the film is who they love, who they hate, what their ambitions are, and what their aims are." Also, the fact that Latika had almost given up on her and Jamal ever being together again, which is proven when she says "I thought we would meet only in death," only for Jamal to look her in the eyes and say "This is our destiny." This shows how deep and passionate their love is. The effect that the ending of the film, with Jamal and Latika's big kiss, has on the audience is tremendous. It shows

It is often said that for a small town inhabitant, it is a lot harder to achieve something in life. I totally disagree with this statement. There are just other values in a town with a small population density. Values concerning family life are coming more forth, career and such kind of personal ambitions are kept in the backround. Also it is often mentioned that making a successful career in a small town is largely impossible, because of the lack of different resources and opportunities. By these it is commonly ment a uncompetitive education and few opportunities to develop extracurricular activities. In my opinion it is again a misunderstanding. Marley became friends with Neville "Bunny" Livingston (later known as Bunny Wailer), with whom he started to play music. He left school at the age of 14 and started as an apprentice at a local welder's shop. In his free time, he and Livingston made music with Joe Higgs, a local singer and devout Rastafari who is regarded by many as Marley's mentor. It was at a jam session with Higgs and Livingston that Marley met Peter McIntosh (later known as Peter Tosh), who had similar musical ambitions. In 1962, Marley recorded his first two singles, "Judge Not" and "One Cup of Coffee", with local music producer Leslie Kong. These songs, released on the Beverley's label under the pseudonym of Bobby Martell,[4] attracted little attention. The songs were later re-released on the album Songs of Freedom, a posthumous collection of Marley's songs. There was a revival, or Renaissance, of learning, partly as a result of the printing press, which ended the Church's monopoly of learning. Henry's son and heir, Henry VIII created the Royal Navy, which culminated with the sinking of the Spanish Armada in 1588. One of the leaders of the English navy was Sir Francis Drake, who was the first Englishman to sail around the world. The Royal Navy also enabled England to realize her imperialistic ambitions and defy the Pope and the Catholic powers of Europe. Henry used Parliament to establish himself as the head of the Protestant Church with the Act of Supremacy (1534). His Reformation led to the creation of the religiously distinct Anglican Church. The dissolution of the monasteries provided Henry with much needed wealth. The reign of Elizabeth I was called the Golden Age of English history, because it

While advocating a much greater sensitivity to and use of cultural models in early childhood education, it is important to clarify that the intention is not to train young children into able performers within particular system of representation. The answer to early childhood art education will never be presenting children with coloring books or insisting that they copy a particular pictorial schema as the way to learn how to draw. Individuals are regulating their emotions in communication in order to socially benefit and achieve the ambitions, as well as maintaining a balanced mental state. But, for the most part, people are led to wrong-doing in order to secure some personal end; in this vice, avarice is generally the controlling motive. Again, men seek riches partly to supply the needs of life, partly to secure the enjoyment of pleasure. With those who cherish higher ambitions, the desire for wealth is entertained with a view to power and influence and the means of bestowing favours; Marcus Crassus, for example, not long since declared that no amount of wealth was enough for the man who aspired to be the foremost citizen of the state, unless with the income from it he could maintain an army. Fine establishments and the comforts of life in elegance and abundance also afford pleasure, and the desire to secure it gives rise to the insatiable thirst for wealth

particularly in Cadle the development of emotional literacy is crucial because a large proportion of children in Cadle are carrying a huge emotional package […] from all sorts all reasons […] and in order to prepare them for learning they have to be able to express their feelings, to have the emotional literacy […] so we could support them […] and allow them to offload their package […] and therefore, allow them to fulfil their ambitions, potential and aspirations in terms of their learning.106 One of the great examples in developing emotional literacy in children according to Mr Richards is the `check in` system. Every morning during the register and before they leave the school, children are asked by the teacher of how they are feeling in this morning or this afternoon. Every child has been asked to put their name/picture in a pot identifying how they feel e.g. `happy`, `sad`, `excited`, `fizzy`

ASPECTS OF BRITISH HISTORY

After a careful survey of Church property Henry VIII closed 560 monasteries and took over their land and wealth. He sold much of their lands to the rising classes of landowners and merchants – to boost his popularity with them. England became politically a Protestant country, even though the religion was in fact still Catholic. Nevertheless, Henry made the Church in England truly English. It was Henry’s creation of the Royal Navy that enabled England to realize her imperialistic ambitions under Elizabeth. He had spent a lot of money on warships and guns, making English guns the best in Europe. The New Trading Nation Elizabeth I (1558–1603) was the first of three long-reigning queens in British history (the other two are Queen Victoria, 1837–1901, and Queen Elizabeth II, 60 succeeded in 1952). Her reign is considered by many as the Golden Age of English history, whose symbols were Francis Drake and William Shakespeare5.

By the end of his reign, he'd managed to lose almost all of England to Viking Invaders. Ethelred was faced with a very large Viking fleet. This fleet was led by Olaf a Norwegian with ambitions to reclaim the Danelaw to his country. After military setbacks Ethelred was able to come to terms with Olaf, who returned to Norway. While this arrangement won him some respect, England faced further raids from Viking. Ethelred fought these off, but in many cases bought them off by payment of what was to become known as Danegeld. *Canute/Cnut Canute the Great, also known as Cnut was a Viking king of England and Denmark, Norway, and parts of Sweden

State Institute of Dramatic Art and the State Theatre Institute (1946-1950). 1 Kross was nominated several times for the Nobel Prize in Literature. A new film industry started tentatively, as an Estonian film critic described production in the late Fifties …besides growing pains some success was encountered: there were more or less interesting roles, expressive musical arrangements… and in some cases, acceptable creative ambitions of film directors. But most of the films of the time were failures. Soviet Estonia was exhibited like a fashion show… sharp social problems were touched, but the authors confined themselves to just registering them.1 The same difficulties were likewise present in symphonic music, as Ofelia Tuisk observed: Why are the powerful dreams, passionate yearning, profound sorrow, seething joy and nature- intoxicated lyrics absent from our symphonic music
