Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to complain about the mobile phone which I bought from your store and about your customer service. I bought the phone on 15th September. I was told that the phone has guarantee for 6 months. It worked properly for three weeks. Then it suddenly stopped working, the screen went black and the buttons didn’t function. I immedately phoned your helpline and was told that this was completely my fault and i have to pay extra money for the repair. I think that it is unreasonable that I have to pay for the phone repair because guarantee is 6 months. I also think that in the future you should talk to your employees about their attitude. I would like to get my phone repaired for free. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully, xy
" I strongly believe that schools should have modern computers but there is no need in using them for all the subjects. Firstly, sitting in front of a computer screen all day can be damaging for students' health, especially sight. As a result, children can feel more exhausted after school than they do now. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. In addition, providing computers for students to use for all the subjects in Estonia is unreasonable. I am trying to say that many schools have more urgent problems than low level of computerizing. Only some prestigeous schools can afford themselves to have a PC for every student. On the other hand, living in the 21st century means using computers a lot, so why not let children get used to this? Moreover, a computer can be very convenient and useful for students. In conclusion, I think that in less than a decade students are going to to use computers for all

substantially enhanced through the discussion we had on the conflict between men and nature in Antigone by Sophocles. The two main characters in the play are Antigone and Creon, who both are motivated by their hubris and the need for glory. In the play, Antigone rebels against the rules set out by Creon, when she attempts to bury her brother even though it has been prohibited by the state. Antigone is sentenced with a death penalty, which is found unreasonable by many of the other members of the society. In the discussion we explored the nature of men and authority in comparison to the natural laws and traditions of the Gods. Sophocles expresses men as the all powerful and wonderful in his well-known "Ode to Man" in Antigone. A man "conquers all, taming with his techniques the prey that roam the cliffs and wild lairs, training the stallion, clamping the yoke across his shaggy neck, and the tireless mountain bull" (l
dominating story, as it shows women having power, although little, but still- and how it was uncommon those days to praise women in literature. Women are desperate to find a man to marry, especially a rich man, then they submit to their husbands, if not they are off to find a new one. Most of the action happens at balls. It is depicted as dances were the center of social world. Dancing seemed to be the only way how women could meet men, which is very unreasonable in my opinion, but what can I do? Women choose men by counting their finances rather than admireing their looks or personalities. Mostly women are shown as desperate ladies, whenever a man was approaching their home, they would go insane-everything had to be perfect, movements and emotions not highly expressed/showed. Most of the discussion between Elizabeth and Jane is focused around the subject of the males yet not in the childish and immature way like their younger sisters'.
· Producing a hybrid takes more energy than the car can save during its lifetime. Why no t to purc has e a hybrid? · Hybrids are more expensive than traditional cars, to buy and to keep running. · Lifetime of a hybrid car is shorter. · Driving a hybrid costs more to the mile than a conventional mid ranged car. Cho o s e yo urs e lf... · Considering all these facts about hybrid cars it seems that it is unreasonable to even think about producing a hybrid car. Mostly because producing all these different parts starting from mining raw materials to producing a car to recycling it takes hugh quantities of energy: electricity, fuel, natural resources etc. · In the end hybrids have a shorter lifetime so they dont save as much as they spend energy. · On the other hand buying a hybrid seems reasonable if you live in a big city. You will make a difference by reducing emissions therefore
stronger together. That way was harder to destroy these countries and that was also people goal. In last subject I talked about wars and saving and also protecting a state what people had built. This all is in connection with studying an evil. Many years ago for example in 17 century were very funny laws. About five year old boy had to carry knights weapon send him all the way to battle and had to be in battle itself. To me it is too unreasonable that so young boy has to see this awful killing and fighting and also learn this kind of thing. I really can not understand what these people were thinking. Many boys get even killed in battle and it is sad for me because they were too young for dieing. Those people had to be evil when they thought these little boys to kill and commanded them to go to the battle. Someway killing for me is Evil. Children had no choice to learn from killers how to kill enemy. But in some way I

What they do with this information When thinking about how much data they are collecting, it seems unreasonable at first. How can you possibly work through that and what are the benefits of this. Since social media is all about that engagement and keeping users as long as possible on their websites, they use this information to provide as much as interesting content as possible of reach user. Simply put, they provide, improve and develope their services. Each bit of information has its own benefits in different areas. With this raw information they can measure how the ads are
treated. There are, however, three things that you need to keep in mind: 1. The customer is not always right 2. There are some customers you can never please no matter what you do 3. When faced with an unwinnable situation, your duty is to mitigate the loss to the company As stated before, there are some customers that you simply cannot satisfy no matter what you do. Their demands are likely to be unreasonable and you want to avoid them like the plague. Not dealing with them will only make a bad situation worse. In the first place, some customers only want to see how far they can push you and will actually respect you. Listening to your customers and clients is the first step to creating a win - win situation. Providing excellent and proactive customer service is essential.. If you treat customers the way you would want to be treated and with integrity along with providing good quality

Java 3D is integrated with Java and its other libraries. This brings the benefits of object orientation (classes, inheritance, polymorphism), threads, exception handling, and APIs such as JMF and JAI. Java 3D's reliance on Java and OpenGL/DirectX gives it a high degree of portability, with related advantages such as reduced development time and cost. 4.4. Java 3D Weaknesses Java 3D's scene graph is often considered an unreasonable overhead, especially by programmers with experience of OpenGL and DirectX. Although it does introduce overheads, they should be judged against the optimizations which the scene graph allows. These can be implemented in a low-level API by an experienced programmer, but at what cost in time and maintainability? Also most large OpenGL and DirectX applications need a data structure like a scene graph anyway, in order to manage code complexity.
Abstract Multicopy genes, like ribosomal RNA genes (rDNA), are widely used to describe and distinguish individuals. Despite concerted evolution that homogenizes a large number of rDNA gene copies, the presence of different gene variants within a genome has been reported. Characterization of an organism by defining every single variant of tens to thousands of rDNA repeat units present in a eukaryotic genome would be quite unreasonable. Here we provide an alternative approach for the characterization of a set of internal transcribed spacer sequences found within every rDNA repeat unit by implementing direct sequencing methodology. The prominent allelic variants and their relative amounts characterizing an individual can be described by a single sequencing electropherogram of the mixed amplicon containing the variants present within the genome
issues. Kriitika Milgram was fiercely criticised. His results upset people - this may have been because they felt uncomfortable with what it showed about ordinary Americans. Maybe if they had not been so shocking (excuse the pun!) people would not have given Milgram's work a second thought, perhaps the unpalatable findings made people seek to discredit the procedures. Milgram's work on obedience was attacked on ethical grounds, saying he deceived people and caused unreasonable distress. Volunteers often showed extreme stress sweating, trembling, stammering, even having uncontrollable fits. The APA decided that Milgram's work was ethically acceptable. On practical grounds, people argued that demand characteristics created the high rates of obedience. It was a highly artificial setting and in a prestigious location, but even when Milgram moved the experiment to a downtown location, obedience rates were still alarmingly high.

The number of networks was growing, but they still weren’t connected. Internetting is the fancy-pansy term used to describe forming a network of networks. These principles were embodied in TCP (differs greatly from the one used nowadays). The early versions of TCP combined a reliable, sequenced data delivery (still part of TCP now) and forwarding functions (now performed by IP). IP was seperated when it was realised that passing data around while trying to find the real host was unreasonable. This was all researched by DARPA. Meanwhile ALOHAnet was being developed in Hawaii. It was a packet-based radio network that allowed multiple remote sites communicate with one another (islands and all that). ALOHA protocol was the first multiple-access protocol to allow users to share a single broadcast communication medium while being in random locations (radio freq). The research was later used while developing the Ethernet protocol. Ethernet protocol was

It was over at last, however. The gentlemen did approach, and when Mr. Wickham walked into the room, Elizabeth felt that she had neither been seeing him before, nor thinking of him since, with the smallest degree of unreasonable admiration. The officers of the ----shire were in general a very creditable, gentlemanlike set, and the best of them were of the present party; but Mr. Wickham was as far beyond them all in person, countenance, air, and walk, as they were superior to the broad-faced, stuffy uncle Phillips, breathing port wine, who followed them into the room. Mr. Wickham was the happy man towards whom almost every female eye was turned,

As for modification of the terms of the contract, it may be amended only by mutual agreement of the parties. Unless otherwise provided by the labor contract, the terms of the labor contract are not modified substantially when: a) The place of the work assigned to the employee is changed in a way that a round trip of the employee from home to a new working place by means of public transportation does not take more than 3 hours a day and is not related to unreasonable cost; b) The starting/closing time of a working day is changed by not more than by 90 minutes; c) There is a change due to the amendments to legislation, which make the exact fulfill- ment of a contract impossible, though this change does not modify its main essence. However the terms of the labor contract shall be considered substantially changed if two changes mentioned above occur at the same time. Work, Break and Rest Time
Open Sensor What happens if the temperature sensor in a heater system opens up? For most sensors (NTC thermistor, solid-state sensor, thermocouple) this condi- tion looks like a very cold temperature. This can be a disaster because the microprocessor will leave the heater on 100%, attempting to reach the target temperature. There are several ways to handle this condition. In software, you can monitor the amount of time the heater is on and declare an error if it stays on for an unreasonable amount of time. This only works if your system can assure that no damage will result before the error is detected. If the normal operating temperature range is limited, you can detect an out-of-bounds cold condition as an open. Figure 6.6 shows a circuit that I used in a design. This is the scaling circuit that we looked at in an earlier chapter, to amplify and scale an NTC thermistor to the 0–5v range needed by an ADC. In this case, the operating range was between about 30°C and 50°C
emotional highs and lows, even around pain. And above all, there is space between your thoughts. And from that space emanates a peace that is not “of this world,” because this world is form, and the peace is space. This is the peace of God. Now you can enjoy and honor the things of this world without giving them an importance and significance they don't have. You can participate in the dance of creation and be active without attachment to outcome and without placing unreasonable demands upon the world: Fulfill me, make me happy, make me feel safe, tell me who I am. The world cannot give you those things, and when you no longer have such expectations, all self-created suffering comes to an end. All such suffering is due to an over-valuation of form and an unawareness of the dimension of inner space. When that dimension is present in your life, you can enjoy things, experiences, and the pleasures of the sense without losing yourself in them, without inner

And even `I'm not ready to talk about it' would be okay. But you have some nerve acting like you don't know what I'm talking about while speaking to me like I'm unreasonable." "Angel-" "Don't." retreat and draw real concessions from the opposing side. It would appear, then, that the procedure would be more effective the larger the initial request, since there would be more room available for illusory concessions. This is true only up to a point, however. Research conducted at BarIlan University in Israel on the rejection- then-retreat technique shows that if the first set of demands is so extreme as to be seen as unreasonable, the tactic backfires (Schwarzwald, Raz, ~ Zvibel, 1979). In such cases, the party who has made the extreme first request is not seen to be bargaining in good faith. Any subsequent retreat from that wholly unrealistic initial position is not viewed as a genuine concession and, thus, is not reciprocated. The truly gifted negotiator, then, is one whose initial position is exaggerated just enough to allow for a series of small reciprocal concessions and counteroffers that will yield a desirable
