How far can we go being tolerant?

How far can we go being tolerant? Tolerance- it is the willingness to accept or tolerate somebody ot something especially opinions or behaviuor that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you. When we speak about tolerance and being tolerant, then of course all of us do not have the same opinion about tolerance. There is saying that there are as many different opinions as people in the world and talking about tolerance is not different. How we tolerate other people and their behaviour depends a lot of how we are raised and educated, where we live and who we connect to When we hear word ,,tolerant" then mostly we connect it with homo sexuals, racism, religion and all kinds of different people(disabled people for example) and how we tolerate those things. Speaking of homo sexuals then for me they are same people as I am and I have nothing against them. I only would not like if homo sexuals would start

The highest result of education is tolerance

Tolerating our fellow compatriots should be every person's goal. For me seeing a bigoted with a high degree is just asinine. How can you even name yourself so called educated person when you are unwilling to be open-minded and do not listen to other people's ideas. It is actually very sad. I am rather sure that those people do not think about how they may hurt others with their sayings caused by their intolerance. So do you remember my question at the beginning of the speech? Why do we need to tolerate weird kids at school? I hope by now you have figured out that because they may turn out to be rich and successful one day. But in all seriousness my grandma once said to me: `'Oh, my child, never be mean to people, tolerate them, be patient and kind. Even to those who you do not agree with. That makes you better and smarter.'' I have lived by those words. And I think every person in this world should. After all, the highest result of education is not only about having good grades

How far can we go being tolerant?

Tolerance is the ability to be fair and understanding to people whose ways and opinions are different from one's own. It seems like a good and challenging streak to have, but the question is, how far we can go with it. I would say not very far. More and more media and public encourage us to be tolerant to homosexuals and their lifestyle and many countries have actually made their marriages legal and tolerate them. Also, there have been numerous discussions on whether they should have the right to have, adopt and raise children. To me, it is absolutely unacceptable because this is not normal. They could have good facilities for bringing up children and lots of love to give them, but in my eyes it just is not suitable for a child. How could a child live a normal life having to live with two mothers or two fathers? It may sound

Unlike other bear species, pandas have round pupils. Pandas are known for their large black patches around their eyes, ears and across their round bodies. Male pandas can weigh up to 160 kg and females can weigh as little as 75 kg. The giant panda's thick, wooly coat keeps it warm in the cool forests. It has strong jaw muscles and teeth for eating tough bamboo. Giant pandas are generally solitary. Each adult has a defined territory and female pandas do not tolerate each other. Pandas are known to attack humans, but rather out of irritation than aggression. Pandas are endangered species, threatened by continued habitat loss and by a very low birthrate. The population boom in China created stress on the panda's habitat and it led to hunting of wildlife, including pandas. Due to conservation efforts, in 2006, there were 40 panda reserves in China, compared to just 13 reserves two decades ago.

Different people have dissimilar religion. They believe according to their beliefs. Usually people follow their religion and do not tolerate other beliefs. Such behavior may cause conflicts between the people with different religions. Even if we don't have other nations in our country, we'd be affected by the media, so we'll still use English words in our everyday talk and so on.Different nations should accept each others culture, language and traditions. Then it would not be that hard to live side by side. For example, when you have a new neighbour in your home town, who's English,

I find it interesting to learn about other cultures and how they live. Estonia is a culturally diverse society. It is home to approximately 1,4 million people and not all of them are Estonians. Beside us consider Estonia as their home: Russians, Ukranians, Belorussian, Jews, Tatars, Germans and Poles - among of many others. They all have chosen to live here and they want to be taken as a part of our nationality. They want to be accepted and esposed. I can't understand people who can't be tolerate. I think it would be absolutely dreadful if all the people were just the same. We wouldn't have anything to learn or we couldn't widen our world-view. We would be monolingual and look all the same. We would just be one dreary crowd. Our heritage makes us all special and unique and we all should accept that. I understand that every human being has it's own beliefs and preferences, but it doesn't mean that we have to put off others.

You also need fluids, or your body will have a hard time performing at its best. Is there an ideal meal to eat before exercise? There's no one meal that you need to eat before working out. Instead, focus on these 5 things: Low fat Moderate in carbs and protein Low fiber Includes fluids Made up of familiar foods that you tolerate well A grilled chicken sandwich or a slice of cheese pizza might fit the pregame meal description, but stay clear of the fried food (including french fries), greasy burgers, and soft drinks. Why is it so important to drink plenty of liquids during exercise? Water acts as your body's cooling system. You don't want to get dehydrated. The best way to stay hydrated is to drink plenty of fluids with meals, and drink about 2 cups (16 ounces) of water 2 hours before exercise.

Tolerance and Diversity

Different cultures make the country multifarious and unite the human beings. They can introduce their customs and culture to their fellow countrymen and in the course of time the cultures blend and become one. Yet, this new type of culture has influences on both original cultures. So everybody wins from "diversity'' and receives a new cultural experience. Different people have dissimilar religion. They believe according to their beliefs. Usually people follow their religion and do not tolerate other beliefs. Such behavior may cause conflicts between the people with different religions, but tolerance is the keyword to avoid conflicts. Equality also plays a huge role in life, because everyone has a free choice to believe in everything they want. To have a better society we must be more tolerant. We shouldn't assume anything before not knowing the person. Only after getting accustomed to the individual we can make our decisions.

In Utopia, with communal ownership of land, private property does not exist, men and women are educated alike, and there is almost complete religious toleration. Some take the novel's principal message to be the social need for order and discipline rather than liberty. The country of Utopia tolerates different religious practices but does not tolerate atheists. Hythlodeaus theorises that if a man did not believe in a god or in an afterlife he could never be trusted, because he would not acknowledge any authority or principle outside himself. * Utopia is a work of satire, indirectly criticizing Europe's political corruption and religious hypocrisy. More was a Catholic Humanist. Alongside his close friend, the philosopher and writer Erasmus, More saw Humanism as a way to combine faith and reason.

Author is convinced that the faith of the Party in a moderate and democratic form of Socialism is a natural outcome of our slowly growing faith in human liberty, equality and brotherhood and represents the next step in our social emancipation. The main evil from which we suffer and the main barrier to social progress is the disgraceful inequality in the distribution of income and property that we still tolerate. We can only remove this evil by abolishing property as a main source of income for anyone. To do this, it will be necessary to modify the right of inheritance so that it is only possible to pass comparatively small sums of money or nothing at all from generation to generation. Private monopolistic control will bring into existence a better balanced and a more securely progressive economy. A socialised industry should be owned by the State and its technical management remain

It is apparent that partiality has leaked into much historical writing over the centuries. Does that nullify the histories? Siobhan Kattago has advocated for pluralism in politics and historical interpretation. She wrote that mankind must recognize, tolerate, and even respect different understandings of history. We must find points of common interest, yet respect cultural differences. She suggested that it is possible for two or more right versions of history, multiple truths, to exist side by side, at least to the point that we can recognize them as valid viewpoints.3 In my opinion, attaining this evenhanded analysis of the past is one of the main priorities of Estonian historical research. Though microorganisms can tolerate extreme temperature (such as - 60 ° or + 60 u) conditions, but the optimum temperature range at which soil microorganisms can grow and function actively is rather narrow. Flora and fauna All terrestrial life in Finland was completely wiped out during the last ice age that ended some 10,000 years ago, following the retreat of the glaciers and the appearance of vegetation. Today, there are over 1,200 species of vascular plant, 800 bryophytes and 1,000 lichen species in Finland, with flora being richest in the southern parts of the country. Plant life, like most of the Finnish ecology, is well adapted to tolerate the contrasting seasons and extreme weather. Many plant species, such as the Scots Pine, spruce, birch spread throughout Finland from Norway and only reached the western coast less than three millennia ago. Oak and maple grows in nature only in the southern part of Finland. The Archipelago Sea, between the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of Finland, is the largest archipelago in the world by number of islands; estimates vary between 20,000 and 50,000.

Most good startup ideas seem a little crazy; if they were obviously good ideas, someone would have done them already. (How many people are going to want computers in their houses? What, another search engine?) That's the connection between technology and liberalism. Without exception the high-tech cities in the US are also the most liberal. But it's not because liberals are smarter that this is so. It's because liberal cities tolerate odd ideas, and smart people by definition have odd ideas. Conversely, a town that gets praised for being "solid" or representing "traditional values" may be a fine place to live, but it's never going to succeed as a startup hub. The 2004 presidential election, though a disaster in other respects, conveniently supplied us with a county-by-county map of such places.

The D.C. varies with the package the thermistor is provided in, the lead gauge (if a leaded device), type of encapsulating material (if the ther- mistor is encapsulated), and other factors. The D.C. is the number of milli- watts needed to raise the thermistor temperature 1°C above ambient. The amount of self-heating allowed, and therefore the size of the limiting resistor, is dependent on the measurement accuracy needed. A system that is only measuring with an accuracy of ±5°C can tolerate more thermistor self-heating than a system that must be accurate to ±.1°C. The formula for calculating the amount of self-heating dissipation allowed for a design is: P = D.C. ¥ Required accuracy, in °C For instance, if the D.C. for our example thermistor was 2 mw/°C, and we needed to measure temperature with an accuracy of .5°C, then the maximum allowable dissipation would be: 2mw ∞ C ¥ .5 ∞C = 1mw

And, obviously, the DR theorist cannot subscribe to Russell's solution or anything very like it, for, according to DR, names do nothing semantically but stand for their bearers. Let us reconsider the Substitutivity puzzle first. Recall our sentence: (1) Albert believes that Samuel Langhorne Clemens was less than 5 feet tall. (1) goes false when "Mark Twain" is substituted for "Samuel Langhorne Clemens." How can DR explain or even tolerate that fact? DR theorists employ a two-pronged strategy. There is a positive thesis and there is a negative thesis (though these are not often explicitly distinguished). The positive DR thesis is that the names in question really do substitute without altering the containing sentence's truth-value. On this view, (2) Albert believes that Mark Twain was less than 5 feet tall. is true, not false. At the very least, belief sentences have transparent readings
