Rational Use of Diagnostic Tests Screening tests Diagnostic tests are often used to screen asymptomatic patients and identify risk factors for occult disease. Screening tests should be generally noninvasive, inexpensive, and of minimal risk to the patient. Screening tests should have high diagnostic sensitivity, which means few false negative results would be expected, as the goal of testing is to rule out the presence of disease. Screening tests should be used to screen for diseases that (1) have serious consequences if left undetected, (2) are reasonably prevalent within the population, and (3) have treatment options readily available. So if we woun´t go to school there is no way to get a step further. I am going to write why I take attending school seriously. First of all I think that when we woun´t go to school for a long periood, it is almost certain that we would be in trouble. If you have been absent for a couple of weeks then it will be very difficult to get all tests and homework done. Firstly you may not know anything about the things that are asked from you. Secondly, some people are sust too lazy to do the tests and because of that students will have very bad marks. If they are unlucky they also must go to school in summer because they have too many things undone. That alone is a really good reason to go to school. Who wants to spend their holiday at school. It would be a torture.
Some truant students are even addicted to the joys of being truant. Some of them are just too tired to go to school or have something better to do. In addition many students also miss class because they have not done their homework and do not want to get yelled at. Futhermore, some of them do not like the teacher or the subject is too difficult for them. I think that a good way to reduce truancy is not to leave any homework and to make the tests in any time and nobody would be upset about it(students choose when they take the tests). In my opinion there is acdually no solution to get rid of truancy. There are ways to reduce it but it probably also slow slow down the learning problem. School system should not be so strict. Students should decide themselves when to come to class. It is their own life and if they want to ruin it, it is their own choice.
Maybe I’d let them work in groups, then they can discuss about book together. Also, every person must know the rules of orthography and write correctly. So it is very important for students to learn their mother languaege. If I would be teacher, I’d gave them printed materials with rules for every subject. Also, they should keep their materials in the folder, it is easier when all things are in the same place. I would also make dictations and tests for every subject. Only then, I can be sure that kids acquire the necessary knowledge. There are advantages and disadvantages of being a teacher. If I were the minister of education, I would do changes in education system. We have a lot of problems in education. Firstly, I would change the exam system. I will lose the national tests to make the schools themselves and instead of school examinations. It increases the benefit of the examinations passed. What is very positive. Also, it would make life easier for students. Secondly, we should pay more attention to rural schools. There are a lot of schools which would be needed to renovate. If we do not compete, we can not ever know who is stronger, better and smarter. We can only say our own subjective opinion. For instance, If we need to make university admission tests, we all know, the smartest win.Clearly we understand that all have chances to win, because everyone must pass the same test and have equal chances to prepare for it.
