Essay: my ideal job

My ideal job When I graduate university, I would like to become a teacher. I want to teach Estoninan language and literature. I want to teach highschool students. I’d like to teach in my hometown, Tartu. I want to become a teacher beacause I like kids. Also, I like to teach and explain. Literature was my favourite subject in school. I like almost all books from compulsory literature. Especially I like „Master and Margarita“ and „Dorian Gray“. I think it is very important to read books, especially young people should read. Literature improves their vocabulary and changes their picture of the world and maybe teach tolerance. I’d give enough time to read every book carefully. I wouldn’t just make a test with fact-questions, I would discuss about the books with them. We would talk about the problems

military potential of these devices and primitive rockets were used to repel a Mongol invasion in 1232 AD. Word of these new amazing weapons quickly spread around the world and soon rockets were being used in military operations in North Africa and Europe. During the 15 th and 16th centuries they were widely used in naval battles to set fire on enemy ships. Around this time they also started being used for more peaceful purposes again. In the 16th and 17th century Europe fireworks displays using rockets became a very popular form of public entertainment. In the late 18th century the British army suffered two serious defeats at battles in Seringapatam, in India. The main reason for these defeats was that the Indian prince, Haidar Ali's army included a corps of rocket throwers. They used very large bamboo rockets which had a range of hundreds of metres. The British were determined to learn from their mistakes and a British officer, William Congrieve, began work on

Home Assignments

01.041) 27.12.2012 Home Assignments. I Youtube clips: · A vision of K-12 students I personally think that Estonian learners are also digital learners. They spend more time at the computers or laptops or iPads etc. than read books or move outside. And another thing is that teachers are less capable in using technological appliances. But the latter mentioned fact is an advantage for us teachers as well. It gives us an opportunity to provide our students to experience success. They can help and assist us if we need some technological help. Another thing is that in schools, in classes generally students are not allowed to use their appliances, so it means they have to communicate verbally as well. I

reading it, for the same reason that it was so hard to get my son to watch black and white movies when he was young, no matter how good they were. Clearly, it’s time for new examples. #2. The world has changed To say that computers and the Internet and the way we use them have changed a lot lately is putting it mildly. Very mildly. The landscape has changed in three ways: Technologygot its hands on some steroids. In 2000, we were using theWebon relatively large screens, with a mouse or touchpad and a keyboard. And we were sitting down, often at a desk, when we did. Now we use tiny computers that we carry around with us all the time, with stilland video cameras, magical maps that know exactly where we are, and our entire libraries of books and music built in. And are always connected to the Internet. Oh, and they’re phones, too. Heck, I can use my “phone” to

Millennials and Technology

Both of us move fast and socialize through the Internet. Everything we get from a robot, such as a phone or a computer, we analyze and memorize for future purposes. In conclusion, you are your smartphone and all its apps. There's even a little bit of Flappy Bird still flying around inside you. It is quite impossible to live without a phone these days. A study conducted by Nielsen, an American global information and measurement company shows that over 85% of millennials own smartphones. It also states that we are twice as likely (40%) to use social media in the bathroom. It's very possible that you've done it too! Next time, remember to be careful so it doesn't fall in... That is said to happen quite a lot as well. That just shows we're extremely addicted. We rely on this new list of technology like a robot relies on its database. Without any data, they'd just be a shell with blank eyes and so would every millennial. Don't worry though

Speech on Fast developing technology

really new. When I got my second cell phone, I thought again that wow, it is so new and unique, I have a prettier phone than my friends do. Some months later, my friends got the same phone, only newer version of it. You can't imagine, how disappointed I was when I realized that technology develops sooooo fast and we just can't always keep up with the times. When I think about the future and what developments are coming I just hardly can imagine what may come. Smartphones are in same level as cheaper laptops. Every month there is something really new and better applications and improvements for every new car or phone. Maybe in future we can fly with the cars, travel to space very cheap and use our house without being home. I think that we can cook food with remote control. In my opinion, it is not so good when modern technology develops as fast as it does nowadays. When people buy new gadgetry so often, it causes a lot of trash, which pollutes the
