Academic success in my culture: the most important factors Stanislav Stõkov MASB11 Academic success is determined by a wide range of factors. For some students, they may not have all of the perfect components, but they rise above their difficulties to have success. Whether a student is gifted academically or not, an important factor is personal determination. Students, who invest more of their free time in their studies and make more effort in lectures than their peers, generally have higher levels of academic achievement. A key component to success is a student's work ethic. Students who are willing to put extra hours in to study and prepare for classes and presentations tend to improve their skills and academic abilities
future ahead of you. If you know how to use all of those abilities then having a successful life and well-paid job are not far away. There are employers who does not care about your grades in high school they want the person who you are. At the beginning you're probaply not as good employee as more experinced workers but after many hours of work you finally will gain confidence and will be as good as more experienced workers or even better. All in all for success skills, motivation and attitude are really the things you need.
"What does success come from?" "What does success come from?"is a question that every one wants to know exactly the answer. The first group of people thinks that taking risks or chances is what a person needs to become successful in his life while the second one whom I agree with believes that careful planning is the most important cause of our success in life. Careful planning may be simply considered as preparation that can be understood that one identifies his aim, lists his steps, and does a research if necessary. Analyzing it in that way, we can know why it becomes the most important cause of success. An English saying goes: "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunities". With such a careful plan, I am sure that we will have enough abilities to realize a lot of opportunities and seize them.
You are what you think you are In my oppinion, you have to work hard to achive greater things in life. I do not agree with people who say that karma decides your life, or that everything is decided before you were born. I know, that if you work hard and put a lot of effort in your life, you will be succesful. Of course there are a lot of people, who would disagree with me, and a lot of them have great and logical explanations and theories, but in my opinion it just is not true. For example, every politican or person on a high paying job, who i have ever seen, has worked his way up the career ladder. Usualy they have studied very hard in school, to get to where they want to be. Most of them have gotten to where they want to be. Of course there are people who have gotten to important positions in life thanks to luck and many of them have had a lot of good ideas or have the imprtant knowledge, but major...
Choosing the right way to revise guarantees success at the exam I Choosing the right way to revise guarantees success at the exam. II For the start, as we know revising for exams can be quite stressful because we have a lot of information to cover. But finding the proper way for you can help you alot! III I actually agree with this statement. In fact, i think that you should find out how you memorize thing in class in order to find out the best way to revise for the exam. For example, if you have a hearing memory, then maybe you should consider recording your notes onto your computer or MP3 player
How to become successful? Success as a rather abstract term has become the main goal that youngsters want to achieve nowadays when they are putting the things in their lives into perspective. Success is measured individually by each person based on their values, intrests and achievements. But what could be the gameplan when inching one's way towards success in my point of view? First of all, i believe that figuring out the path one wants to follow in life and being persistent on staying on that path is even more important than a well-rounded education. An excellent example to support that idea is Steve Jobs, one of the founders of Apple Inc., who had a poor education, but a clear vision of what he wants to do. Conclusively, one will be able to foresee even some of the hurdles one will or will not have to overcome, a physicist knows,
It is a well-known fact that most people will say they want to be successful in numerous, but success is many things to many people. Why is it difficult to define? What means real success to you? When we talk about success very often we think about money. Perhaps it happens because money pays a big role in our life. In other words, we can say if someone has money this person is successful. For some people the word success means being famous, for others it means being great at some specifc career. Yet for other people the word success means all together: having money, being good at one's professional life, personal life, romantic life, health life and so on. It is a very difficult task to start looking for a definition of success, because in fact it can have many different meanings. Puting it in another way; some people can see themselves doing great at some time of their life. Could every one else

What makes a person successful ? To answer that question, we firstly have to define a word success, because I personally think that everybody does it differently, but here comes my version. Success is a moment when a person achieves a goal that they has made for himself for a long time period. In my opinion, we have to stress the words ,,long time period." Why ? Because I do not think that somebody has made an enormous success, when the goal they had made was not actually a challenge. To make it more clear to You, we should not use extremely widespread Borat's expression ,,Great success!" so often. A succesful person takes down such goals as a wish to be a director, to get promoted and to marry a very nice looking lady. Achievements which some people see only in their dreams, the ones you can be proud of ! Surely it depends on every individual personally, what is important for them.
The two most important languages on planet Earth these days are English the language of international commerce and of the media and Chinese, which is spoken by one of every six humans. The second tier of importance includes Spanish and Arabic and French for their wide use and Japanese, from Japan's economic influence. The third tier of importance covers Portuguese (for Brasil), German, and Russian. The remaining languages are essentially regional or minor. Success in business in the global economy requires fluency in one or more of the languages in Tier One or Tier Two, no matter where you live.Business operations reception, customer service, sales, websites, advertising that entail use of one or more languages provide access to major additional segments of the global economy. Likewise, the executive or office worker or retail clerk with multi-fluency has the edge over co-workers and competitors who do not.

Advantages and disadvantages of learning in groups There are three 10th grades in our school at the moment and the students are shared into seven groups. The groups have different teachers. At first I thought that the groups are made by educational success but this is not true. There are fifteen stundents in my group and most of them are from 10c. Only 4 girls are from 10a and from 10b there are no students in my group. In my opinion it is a great chance to make friends with everybody who graduates the sameyear with me and one of the most important advantages is fellow feeling. I think it is better if the groups are made by educational success. There are weakers and strongers in one group. If the teacher deals only with the strongers,
Setting goals and trying to achieve them is an important factor of success Stanislav Stõkov MASB11 Every person's main goal or dream is to succeed in life. While the mission stays the same, the only difference is how it is achieved. Usually people set goals for themselves and attain them step by step, but how important is it in general? The advantages of setting goals include firstly, acting on a certain plan. If people have their goals straighten out, then they will not come to a point where they do not know

interested in different things. At one point it occured to me that when I want to be successful in some field, then I really have to educate myself in that filed. When my friends have characterised me then they have mainly mentioned that I am an active person, who has been successful in different fields. I still do not think I am succesful because it is a really complicated definition, but I know that I have succeeded in doing several things. For me the key is my so called success has been that when dealing with a particular thing I have tried to delve into the subject as deep as possible. Firstly, when we are talking about success and asking the question who is a succesful person, we have to understand that success means various things for different persons. The main question is what makes a human being happy? In my opinion, as a person claims that he is happy, then we can firmly say that this person is successful in life because he feels content with his life

Nonetheless, Otis took the group under his wing, helping them sign to Modern Records and changing their name from The Creolettes to the Peaches. He also gave the singer her stage name Etta James. The success gave the group an opening spot on Little Richard’s national tour. Etta decided to leave the group. After leaving The Peaches she had another RnB hit. Though the song was not as successful as expected, it has become the most remembered song. In 1963 she had another major hit with „Pushover“. After a couple years scoring

Mr. Bean and Blackadder. He has been listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest actors in British comedy and amongst the top 50 comedians ever, in a 2005 poll of fellow comedians. Although he'd first appeared at Edinburgh when he was 17, Atkinson was spotted at the 1976 Festival by television producer John Lloyd, who went on to produce him in his first starring role - as one of the four members of the ’Not The Nine O'Clock News’ sketch team. This was followed by the huge success of Blackadder and its sequels which propelled Atkinson to star status. He then went on to create Mr Bean. A walking disaster, Bean was purely physical comedy, the opposite of Edmund Blackadder's polished dialogue. This clumsy character was a huge success and became another national treasure. Atkinson's other characters rely more heavily on language. Atkinson often plays authority figures, especially priests or vicars, speaking absurd lines with a completely deadpan delivery.

At an early age he appeared on the music hall stage with his father and brother taking small parts in vaudeville. At the circus Charles admired the art of the clown called Rabbit. Before meeting him Charles had never thought of becoming a comic actor. After a short experience at the theatre he re-entered vaudeville in London as a member of the Fred Karno company. The Fred Karno pantomime troupe gave comic shows. Chaplin himself said that he would never have achieved success in pantomime without the art of mimicry he had learnt from his mother. His first picture was made in 1913. Charlie put on old baggy trousers, a tight jacket, enormously large shoes and a small bowler hat. He also had a small mustache and a cane. His success was immediate and he remained true to his funny costume all through his career. In 1918 he formed his own company and started producing films. He produced 80 films and in 79 of them he played the central character
Q & A is a novel written by Vikas Swarup, an Indian diplomat. Published in 2005, it was the author's first novel. Set in India, it tells the story of Ram Mohammad Thomas, a poor young waiter who becomes the biggest quiz-show winner in history, only to be sent to jail on accusations (but with no evidence or proof) that he cheated. It was the basis of the 2008 feature film Slumdog Millionaire. The novel was re-published under the title Slumdog Millionaire after the success of the film. The book is divided into 14 topics (included the prologue and the epilogue). Each chapter of the book focuses on questions and answers from the quiz-show, but also a story, how Ram Mohammad Thomas knew answer for all the questions he was asked for. One of the main reasons whay I started to read this book, was the success of the movie Slumdog Millionaire. Although I had not seen the film I thought that the theme of the book and the film was very interesting
Attitude rather than aptitude is the key to success Dear classmates and teacher! Nearly every person in this room have big hopes for the future. Almost EVERY ONE of us want to accomplish more than the others. We've set our standards high. Much higher than they were before and every generation lifts them higher. Every one of us dream of/about all kind of things. Some of them are small and brief, some bigger and long termed. Unfortunately, most of those remain to dreams, because nowadays people are lazy. Somewhy we are waiting things to happen
In a more complicated way it refers to instrument that encourages civil servants to rise their work quality and performance, it rewards best officials based on their contribution and effort. So it is kind of a tool to motivate officials to perform better and produce more qualitative work. (Randma-Liiv 2005) Compensating and motivating employees plays important role in governmental jobs- it helps to attract, motivate and retain qualified workers in the field. Success of pay-for performance tool has been discussed in many ways. Some researchers like Murphy and Cleveland (1995) support the success stories brining out examples why it is necessary, some like Ingraham (1993) are not that optimistic about it and draws attention on its negative effects. To tell weather pay-for performance is good or a bad “thing” we need to discuss positive influence and negative impact of it and weight the results

Living in Yonkers, Fitzgerald attended public school, where she sang in the glee club and received her musical education. Another aspect very characteristic to the Puritanism era is the choice of messages from the Bible. It was common to choose a clear message to the audience rather to choose a topic and preach that concrete passage to them. As mentioned before, they made the message very simple and plain for the audience to understand and follow. Messages in Winthrop sermon are also chosen with a deep but simple meaning, such as if you serve God well and follow him, success will come to you; working hard was for the honor of God; God knows your fate already since your birth, etc. All these messages were broadly about predestination and its importance. The first message I brought out about serving God and receiving success is mentioned in the sermon with the phrase ‘shipwreck’ as it follows:”Now the onely way to avoyde this shipwracke, and to provide for our posterity, is to followe the counsell of Micah,

In spite of emigration and a well- developed connection to music influences from Britain and the United States, Irish music has kept many of its traditional aspects and has itself influenced(mõjutama) many forms of music, such as country and roots music in the USA, which in turn have had some influence on modern rock music. On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat. The Montgomery Bus Boycott, urged and planned by Nixon and led by King, soon followed. The boycott lasted for 385 days, and the situation became so tense that King's house was bombed. King was arrested during this campaign, after this accident, King became a national figure and the best-known spokesman of the civil rights movement. As you understand, Martin Luther King was like pacifist, also inspired by Gandhi's success with non- violent activism, King went to India. The trip to India affected King, deepening his understanding of non- violent resistance and his commitment to America's struggle for civil rights. King was among the leaders of the so-called "Big Six" civil rights organizations who were instrumental in the organization of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, which took place on August 28, 1963
