The effect of modern technology on our everyday life In the nowadays world, we are living in the era of advanced technology. Almost every activity that we do in our daily life is somehow connected with technology usage. It plays a major role not only in our lives, but also helped in development of various industries, changed education, entertainment. We can not measure this process and it`s impact on society, but one thing we can say for sure – technology has become part of pupils lives. There are so many advantages connected with technology and how it affected our everyday life. To start with, development of mobile technology, computers and internet made life easier.
I have known (name) since (date). I clearly remember the first time I met her. She was very friendly towards everyone and that really gave me a good impression of her. And even now I think she is a very joyful and lovely person, who cares for others as much as for herself. During these two and a half months I have known (name), she has always been very hard-working and extremely passionate about everything she does. She is strong-willed and if she somehow doesn't succeed in something, she tries again and again until she does. (name) is also very committed to her education and very industrious. Her favourite subjects are math and Estonian. I would certainly recommend (name) for any position where hard-working, passionate and co- operative people are valued. Sincerely, (signature, name)
athletes like Markko Märtin, Marko Asmer, Kaia Kanepi, Andrus Veerpalu and Mart Poom. We love sports and working out is a part of our lives, that's why you don't see almost any overweight people in the streets. We are reputed to be quite stubborn, I don't think that's true about our stereotype. I do think that we're too reserved. We're too tense all the time and don't really go with it when somebody is trying to make us laugh. It takes a little time until we warm up and start to communicate. Somehow we tend to make jokes on ourselves. Then you may realize, that you can really have fun with us.
In general they both make very good music for easy-listening. Their music is modern, songs are lyrical, melodic and good to listen to. Sting makes more harmonious songs than Lowry, nevertheless this is mainly because of their different styles and musical background that sets up some limitation to the singing part also. To summarise it can be said that both singers are very different, they are representors of two very different musical genres, but in my opinion they both make music that somehow can be listened in same kind of situations: when relaxing, having a rest or driving a car.
Essay Should smoking be banned A lot of people are smoking in the world. There are many people who don´t like it and they would be very happy when smoking would be banned. There are also many people who don´t care. There are very many bad things about smoking. It very dangerous to pregnancy adn causes different illnesses. Smoking is very bad to lungs. It even could cause cancer. But people obviously don´t think before when something is wrong with them. But it also very hard to stop smoking like many different things. However, cigarettes are very expensive people still don´t leave smoking. Smoking is part of they life. They think that it normal to go smoking every single hour. I know some people who do like that. They just have to go because it like a habit. Non-smoker think that it time wasting, but to them it very important part of their day. All those t...
Lisett Oras 10a It is better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven People have different opinions about this quote. It makes them think and discuss about Hell and Heaven. I think that this quote means that it is much easier to be a ruler of a place that has no rules and bans. People are allowed to do anything they want, but they still have to somehow obey to the ruler of the Hell s. However in Heaven the ruler has been and will be God. There you must obey and honor the God anyway. If you have lived your life like God would have wanted you to live and you already are in heaven then it is better to serve in heaven. You have lived for God. You have sacrificed and done everything for being accepted there. If you really believe that Heaven is the place
similar interests. I visited one girl every week and we played together for a while. Recently, my friends have changed, again. I have gotten distant with ones and made new friends, with whom I can laugh endlessly and who will always listen to my problems and give the best advice. I have buddies who don't care about big presents if they can see me in person. I couldn't say that one friend is better that thousands of them, but if all my friends were somehow magically in one person, I would have to change my answer. THANK YOU
Career Needs and Wants I´m still a student, but I have always thought about my future career , what it looks like. Every career is somehow interesting and awesome, but career shouldn´t be boring. So, I have thought what preferences my career needs. First thing I point out is good environment. Environment is important thing about career. Some people like working outside or in small town, but I like to work in a big city and in penthouse. In the big city I have more opportunities to have lunch with colleagues and entertain myself. The second thing I want to point out is stability
Lying is a natural and inevitable part of any good relationship Most relationship experts note honesty as number one requirement to have a happy and successful relationship. Somehow many people seem to disagree. After all, if it was all that simple, why would anyone lie? Don't they want to be happy? Perhaps reality is not that straightforward. Sometimes telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is the worst thing to be done. From time to time truth can be hurtful. Noone wants to hear that they look exceptionally bad today, especially when they really do. A little fiction can save the day for everyone.
Luckily of unfortunately is look the base of communication, servicing and relationships. So, look is important! Who could imagine being served by a little stinky dude, who dresses into informal dirty clothes? I couldn´t. If look was not important, there would not be loads of etiquette rules. What if look would not be important? I do not even have to generate theories. I know people, who do not think about necessity of taking care of their look. I can see them every day. Somehow they do not aware their problem. How can anyone ever feel comfortable with dirty clothes, untidy skin and fetid body? This secret remains to be under disgusting cover. In conclusion I would say that look is really important! No matter what is being achieved, look has a solid role in result! Of course if people did not care of the way they look, some doors would be closed, but life still would worth living!
Rain man The movie concentrates on two brothers and their dysfunctional relationship. One brother, Raymond, is autistic and no one seems to understand what it really is that they are dealing with. The other brother, Charlie, is greedy and selfish, at least in the beginning of the movie. Somehow that changes as the film evolves. The main problem in this movie is greed. Charlie only cares about money. When he finds out that his estranged father had left his inheritance to someone else, he gets mad. That is the reason why he took Raymond from the institution where he was living. He wanted to take the money from his brother even when he realised that there was something wrong with him. At least he came to his senses in the end.
He makes the movie so real and his acting really touches me. I also enjoy his performance in the movies ,,The pursuit of happiness" and ,,I am legend". The film ,,Seven pounds" shows, that there are not only bad and cold, but also kindhearted and caring people around us. Even though I don't think it's right that he committes a suicide, I think what he did was really moving. I love the film, because I got so many emotions while whatching it and I love whatching movies that affect me somehow. After I had seen the film, I felt like I want to do something nice for someone who really deserves it. I felt like I need to make someone happy. I think everyone who enjoy touching, but at the same time sad movies, should watch ,,Seven pounds". Will Smith is a great actor and he makes the movie realistic. I don't recommend the movie to people, who enjoy funny and childish movies.
For many people, money is the most important thing in the world What is the meaning of life? What is happiness? Surely everyone has asked these questions from himself and has thought about that. It can not be answered the same, because people have different personalities and value judgements. It looks like for some people happiness depends on that how much money they can earn. Money is for them the most important thing in the world. Somehow money is important for all of us. We need it for everything: to buy food, clothes and other bare necessities. Also we buy other things and services that are less necessity, but we just want to buy them. Money is resource for buying things, is it also a purpose? Why are we studying? Because we want to get a good job, it means for one thing that we want to get big salary. We attempt to make career to get even bigger salary, even more money. We spend huge part of our life for earning money
Most of the movies that were based on books like Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, and the more recent Marley and Me and multiple award- winning Slumdog Millionaire for example, fell short to its namesake. While they were no doubt entertaining films, fans of the book would have expected more and so would I. The book had a depth and a feeling, that was to me, lost in the movie. Page after page, I was riveted. His mis- adventures were more real, more painful, more lonely somehow - even though he was all of that in the movie too. His ambition was driven by more than love. And through all his life, his personality shone through. He was earnest, street-wise, innocent, likeable, and always, unassumingly profound. He learned from his experiences, but was prone to making the same mistakes. And I ended the book, feeling like I have lived a thousand lives. The movie just ended with a signature Bollywood song and dance.
Dear Diary, The most amazing thing just happened to me. The Time Machine which I never thought will work, just brought me back from my travel to 1975. I've always imagined what the 70's would have looked like and I've even dreamed of living in that time. And now I finally got to see and feel it. I wasn't quite sure where would The Machine bring me, but luckily it worked perfectly and brought me into the New York City. I think that it somehow works on the power of mind and it gets you exactly where and when you want to be. On the first sight it all looked wonderful, the grass was greener and the air was more easier to breathe of course I was evolved into the famous Central Park. I didn't know where to go or what to do, so I whistled, like they do in the movies, and took a cab. I asked the driver just to drive me around the city and show me what's good around there.
logically you can't choose love. "I would my father looked but with my eyes." (Act I scene 1 line 57 Hermia). Hermia'a father Egeus has chosen for her a husband. Hermia is in love with someone already. Hermia won't have her life be chosen for her and she decides to elope with her love. This is exciting and they only think they will love forever because this love is so true. But puck puts a spell on Lysander to fall in love with Hermias best friend Helena. This love that was true and forever was somehow changed? How can that be they were so deeply in love. Love is constantly changing usually with family increasing for it is unconditional but for lovers it can decrease quicker than the speed of light. "Content with Hermia! NO; I do repent the tedious minutes I with her spent."(Act ll, scene 2 lines 111,112)Lysander wishes that he could turn back time and hadn't spent it with Hermia. But they were in love and they were eloping and they had a future together
most likely to be pushed aside in the poorer inner-city schools ‒ exactly where it could be most beneficial. This continues to foster the misguided belief that classical music is a white, middle-class and elitist activity. While things are much better than they were 10 years ago, there is still a long and winding road ahead before we can say that all our children have access to music.’ I chose this article because it was the first one to have my interest. I have always been somehow interested in what other people, who are not connected to music the way I am, think of learning an instrument, do they want to do it as or not. Especially children and the people the same age as me. In estonia I have rarely heard that young people want to know more about classical music or want to learn, so it is interesting for me to read about other countrys. I liked this article and I really hope that in the future, more young people around the world will
plenty of crime is shown. Because of the rise in crime and at the same time in action movies or series people have started worrying that these kind of movies affect people to commit more crimes. Firstly, action films/ TV series always include robberys, explosions, car chases, shooting and all the other more little crimes. Usually these movies/series have about the same plot, where there are good guys and bad guys fighting and chasing each other. Often in the end good guys somehow still capture the criminals and live happily forward. This actually shows that the good guys will always eventually capture the bad guys and criminals have no chance. Still, they may have an affect to an audience. Because of the action it consists it can increase humans aggression and finally lead to violence. Secondly, there are also lots of children who watch violent films and get inspired by it. Because little children may be not so smart they will think that all the stunts and
position in their work place. In the past, women, in many societies, had less rights and privileges than men. The statement says that companies should give a certain number of higher positions to women. However, I do not agree with this requirement completely. Giving a certain percent of higher positions to women certainly is an easy solution but in my opinion it will bring even more sexism. It shows that women are somehow weaker, fragile and need help for everything. And this on the other hand, will cause a situation where females will receive less credit for their jobs, even if they do their work really well. Every person is unique and has their own set of skills. Companies have to value people's experience, qualification and education more than their gender, race, sexual orientation or other personal aspects. Those have nothing to do with the ability of someone doing the job or how this
for her husband. Liisa-Maria Pihlak, 12B Christophine was different than other Jamaican blacks-the way she talked and dressed was different and she was portrayed as kind of an outsider. She once was a slave, but now, to her family, she was a very loyal servant. She was very helpful, concerned and loyal towards the people she cared about. She appeared to share her nature with the Caribbean Islands, she seemed to somehow be a part of them. At the same time she feared greatly for her knowledge of the dark magic. I’d say that Christophine had quite an influential role in the book. She took over Antoinette’s mother’s role and gave her a stable life as she started to take care of her. As for me, she seemed caring and affectionate, especially when it came to Antoinette and her wellbeing. Her confidence and independence are respectful traits, no matter what
" My presentation will take about five minutes. You can ask questions at the end of my presentation. 2. slaid (video) 3. slaid - introduction My presentation is about pricing consultant's Casey Brown's speech about knowing the value of yourself as an employee or as a company and making others see what you are worth. This speech seemed interesting to me, because the gender wage gap what she is aiming to is also actual in Estonia. The gender wage gap is a subject that affects somehow all of us. Gender wage gap figure has publicly launched a couple discussions on fair treatment of women and men, and gender balance issues. Casey Brown has some really good tips that we could use to help us. 4. slaid fear and doubts The main point of Casey's speech is that: No one will ever pay you what you're worth. They'll only ever pay you what they think you're worth, and you control their thinking. Casey Brown told two stories
system changed and they could not do anything anymore. Also, the head office in Poland did not find any solution for our problem. I was in shock and could not understand how that was possible. Even if there was a change in the system, is it acceptable to cancel our seating and not inform us about it? On July 4th I went along with my son to the airport and tried to find out about the seating at check-in. Unfortunately we did not find much help from the information desk – though they somehow put my son to sit behind his grandfather on their first flight from Anchorage to Warsaw, but could not do anything on the flight from Warsaw to Toronto. I feel really insecure sending my son on this trip. In Warsaw they had only time to change the planes and when they went to ask about the seats from the lady at the boarding desk, they found that the plane was already full and there was not anything to do about it. The whole group of travellers sat far apart from each other

Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice Class and social status in Pride and Prejudice Mankind has been acknowledging one another's superiority since the dawn of time. In the novel under the discussion, social status has a great importance in the turn of events. Everyone in the novel is somehow influenced by the topic of fortune or social class. To start with, even though "Pride and Prejudice" touches on many different subjects and characters, its main events are related to or caused by the dogmas of class distinctions. The main characters are influenced by that on numerous occasions. Mr. Darcy, of noble descent, finds it hard at first to cope with the relatives and social status of the woman he falls in love with, Elizabeth
them without hesitation. However, by the end of the novel, she did get engaged, which can be seen from a conversation between Nick and Jordan as Nick says that "there were several she could have married at a nod of her head /.../" (Fitzgerald 1993: 160), which means that for a long time, Jordan chose not to marry, ignoring society's pressure and its prototypical image of the 1920s women. When it came to her personality, Jordan was portrayed to be quite arrogant and restless, and she somehow thought herself to be better than others, especially, when it concerned the people who lived in West Egg. For example, the first time she spoke to Nick "she remarked contemptuously, that he lived in West Egg" (Fitzgerald 1993: 27). West Egg represented people, who had become rich on their own hard work, also known as "new money", whereas East Egg symbolized ageing and established aristocracy, "old money". Nick himself pointed out that "the less fashionable of the two /..
1. Who are ghosts? · The energy, soul or personality of a dead person who has somehow gotten stuck between this plane of existence and the next · Those persons has often died as a result of some tragedy or trauma · It´s believed that those ghosts don´t know they are dead · Also known as "intelligent hauntings," these ghosts exist in a kind of limbo state in which they haunt the scenes of their deaths or locations that were pleasant to them in life. Limbo is kind of a pre-hell state
Fast footsteps were heard again, but this time an older man entered the small room. "The doctor is here, Mary!" announced Elisa and ran off to kitchen to look after the porridge soup they were supposed to have for breakfast. "Hello..." said Mary and the old man bowed politely back. "My name is dr. Winchester I am the family doctor of the Ebes who live in a castle nearby. By the way I am your neighbor." Mary helped Laurel to sit back on her bed and asked if the doctor could help her somehow. The man examined the girl and said, "Well, to be honest these symptoms are something you don't see vary often..." "But she well be alright! Please! Do something, doctor! We are poor, but I'm sure we'll find the money for the medicine! I'll...I'll find a work! Or..." "Lady Mary, calm down please!" "I can't!" cried the girl and hugged Laurel, "She is my little sister... " "I understand, young lady, since my own daughter is seriously ill at the moment." "Oh
philosophers and the Hellenistic view of life. He also really cherished his youth, which probably was the inspiration for the book The picture of Dorian Gray. "To get back my youth I would do anything in the world, except take exercise, get up early or be respectable." - Oscar Wilde The picture of Dorian Gray This book talks about a young man called Dorian Gray, who doesn't age. Instead a portrait, which is painted of him shows all the changes Dorian is going trough. That is somehow making Dorian evil, he starts enjoying life at first, but later on his actions take a darker turn. All of that starts when Dorian meets lord Henry Wotton, who tells him that one should cherish his youth, because youth is only temporary. Lord Henry himself is a fine example of an upperclass gentleman. His day mostly consist of elegant dinners with the London's elite and attending shows, operas etc. He's trying to make Dorian like him,
Did you ever stop and think about how often we are told to change our appearance? Magazines constantly offer tips about how to lose weight “in days,” appear slimmer “instantly,” and hide our “imperfections”… without actually knowing anything about us, much less our appearance. This is one example of body-shaming, and it is everywhere. It has become the norm to criticize aspects of our bodies as some type of bonding experience with friends – if we all hate our bodies; it somehow makes us feel connected and united. Body-shaming can lead to a vicious cycle of judgment and criticism. Messages from the media and from each other often imply that we should want to change, that we should care about looking slimmer, smaller, and tanner. And if we don’t, we worry that we are at risk of being the target of someone else’s body-shaming comments. Body-shaming manifests in many ways: Like Criticizing your own appearance, through a judgment or comparison to another
homework to do. I discovered that I’m really lacking the studying skill and despite my hatred towards school I really need it to make sure I understand the topics. The hardest part of home schooling is that I need to discipline myself and make sure all my homework is completed and sent to teachers. I have never liked studying from home and now with days passing and me still in home it feels like a prison. Luckily I still somehow manage to deal with the stress that comes from studying and all those due dates that I have now. This virus is slowly breaking my spirit. I realized that today when I just didn’t care about anything anymore. Weeks have become dull and weekends are extra boring for me. Usually I look forward to every week because I have so much to do. There are people I love and hobbies I enjoy. I should have had almost three dance lessons by now and the fact
Austen invites the reader to follow events from Elizabeth's viewpoint, sharing her prejudices and misapprehensions and being surprised along with her when events prove these to be mistaken. In my oppinion, the book was really good and I liked it a lot. Though the language was quite difficult to understand sometimes, but I liked the style she has written the novel. I like the way she talks about the characters so prolixly and they were somehow still jolly. I did not like the character of Darcy in the beginning, because I thought it was too strict and was not humorous at all. But in the end I thought he is a really good man for Elizabeth. I would definitely recommend this book to others too, because this book gives you an unforgettable experience. In conclusion, I would like to say that Jane Austen has done a really good work and this classical romantic novel is marvellous.
6) At a job interview you always should always bring out your best characteristics. 7) Stay true to yourself and believe in yourself. 8) You should always listen to other people's opinion first, before talking back. 9) In death there is always a new beginning. 10) "Blue Rock" is the new hot drink for winter. Favorite passage Holly broke down, sadness sweeping over her. Yet she felt relief at the same time; relief that Gerry would somehow continue to be with her for another little while. She leafed through the small white envelopes and searched through the months. It was April now. She had missed March so she delicately picked out the envelope. She opened it slowly, wanting to savour every moment. Inside was a small card with Gerry's handwriting on it. It read: Save yourself the bruises and buy a bedside lamp! PS. I love you... Her tears turned to laughter as she realized her Gerry was back!
slums. She refers to him as "Prince Charming" and refuses to heed the warnings of her brother, James Vane, that Dorian is no good for her. They become engaged, much to the surprise of Lord Henry and Basil. For a moment, it seems like everything will turn out wonderfully but after the engagement Sybil talent suddenly disappears. This destroys Dorian's love for her, and he brutally dumps her. Back home, he notices a something different in his portrait--it looks somehow crueler. In the meanwhile Sybil commits suicide, just as Dorian decides to return to her and take back his terrible words. The next day, he covers his portrait and moves it to the attic, to which Dorian has the only key. He then settles in to read a yellow book sent by Lord Henry; the book becomes Dorian's blueprint for life. Several years pass, and Dorian lives a hedonistic life according to the guidelines established by Lord Henry and the yellow book. While the face in the portrait has

At the same time police are investigating the murders that Salander is accused of. Prosecutor Richard Ekström tries to find all kinds of evidence to show that Lisbeth is guilty. In addition there is also the Section, who wants to put an end to the organization and finish their work, including killing all the people that can somehow resist. As Blomkvist is writing a book that reveals the secret Section, the organization does everything that could put an end to publishing the piece. They even decided to have Blomkvist killed and plant cocaine and a wad of cash in his apartment, so his death looks drug-related. Luckily Blomkvist cooperated with a security company (Milton Secutity). Despite the Section's clever action, they had no chance to fight against Blomkvist. My opinion · This book is enthralling.
While visiting Burj Al Arab, people often go sightseeing. A really popular place to visit is one of the world's most impressive water parks Wild Wadi. This is the perfect location for leisure, as well as special events such as team building and business functions. The story of Wild Wadi all began with a cool dude called Juha and his brave friend Sinbad. One day as they were returning from one of their adventures, they were suddenly caught up in the mother of all storms. Somehow Juha, his family, Sinbad, the entire crew and even Juha's donkey managed to survive. They found themselves stranded on a beautiful lagoon, surrounded by mountains and all sorts of exotic plants and wild life. So the kids came up with new ideas to have fun. They asked the crew to redirect the streams and create waterfalls and water slides. Then they used palm leaves to build rafts, which they sat on and floated downstream. And when they tired of that, they simply threw
Danny has!" "Damn it! You're right!" "Oh yea, I saw something like that in a western movie as well..." "You're a genius! We must escape now, right?" "Well, do we have a choice?" "But what happened in the film?" "The characters jump off the roof." "Actually, in case you didn't notice, it's about 4 meters downfall." "So? The true heroes face 20!" "Alright then...ready?" "Sure!" They hugged and jumped it was too dark to see where, but they jumped. Somehow the ground felt softer to land on than the twins had thought. Then a scream broke into the night. Creasha knew this wasn't Suzan since they were still hugging, no, it was another female whom voice was very familiar. Suzan was the first one to recognize it. "Mother..."she whispered and a soundless tear crossed her cheek. Creasha told her to wait here, but sister hold to her too strongly to let go now. "Okay, come with me then, but be quiet! You're not the only one who feels like crying!"

Also is named figure skating, mountaineering, car driving, doing some kind of sports and you could damage your leg of hand and then you could never do that sport again what you really like. Why do people have hobbies? Why do they do sports? People have hobbies because they want to do something what they like and interests them. Nobody didn't want to do nothing and just sit and dreaming. People do sports because they want to move their self somehow and they do it because they like very much to develop themselves. Does your hometown have enough leisure facilities for different age groups? What are they? In my hometown didn't have enough leisure facilities, because we live in a little town and our town didn't have enough money to enable everything what peoples wants, and we don't have enough trainers because no one didn't want to do his/her career in so little place, you didn't be able to get much far
Iron marks the end of the road because unlike lighter elements, iron atoms consume rather than create energy when they fuse. Fusion can no longer provide the energy to support the star's outer layers, and the core simply implodes. Usually the result is a neutron star, a stellar cinder so dense a teaspoon would weigh more than a billion tons. In the most massive stars the collapse leaves only a voracious pit called a black hole. At this point, Woosley believes--before the collapse somehow turns into an explosion--some supernovas unleash a blast of gamma rays. Woosley's interest in these bursts goes back decades, when they were so mysterious that over a hundred more or less serious ideas about their cause were in play, from "starquakes" to the exhaust plumes of alien spacecraft. But his fascination deepened in the early 1990s, when a spacecraft called the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory showed that gamma-ray bursts originate far beyond our galaxy. To appear as bright as they do,
party. Geoffrey owned a plane, which the party found especially useful in helping to map the desert. In one night Katharine read one passage form Herodotus. Almasy realised that he loves her and her voice. They became lovers. He was crazy about her. He wanted to claim her right shoulder he's, but he reconsidered, because he loved hallow under the neck. In 1938, Katharine broke off their affair, telling Almasy that Geoffrey would go mad if he ever found out. Geoffrey somehow found out about the affair. When World War II broke out in 1939, the members of the exploration team decided to pack up base camp, and Geoffrey offered to pick up Almásy in his plane. However, Geoffrey Clifton arrived with Katharine and tried to kill all three of them by crashing the plane. Geoffrey Clifton died immediately. Katharine survived, but was horribly injured. Almásy took her to "the cave of swimmers" and left to find help. After four
ordained by Him that made all things, for the perpetuating of mankind, without which it must needs perish. (Mabbe p 63) Prose The most distinctive element of the original passage is it's sexual tone in its explanation of "true love." Celestina basically says that Calisto is suffering from being horny all the time, and that God made them that way so humans could propagate. In the same passage, "forzoso" is related to love between man and woman. Somehow men are, literally, forced to love women. I have a major in biophysics, so I'm thinking of a physical force that hypothetically pushes a man 3 to love some woman. It's also curious that he writes men are forced to love women, and not just men are forced to love. When he wrote this novel, his dad had already been burned alive for his
When another piece of the Gate, the Silver Bail is found, Arthur is being separated from the others and he finds himself at a Cathedral of Hate. It's created by a creature Agrajag. He tries to kill Arthur because of assassinations by Arthur. Luckily, Agrajag realises that when he kills hilm, it causes a paradox, because Arthur had to cause his death ath Stavromula Beta and took Arthur out of his relative timeline too soon. But he kills Arthur anyway. But Arthur escapes somehow, flying. He learned to fly many years ago when he missed the ground while catching sight of a piece of luggage he had lost in Greek. When he finds the luggage, he comes on the flying part and find his friend again. They find Trillian, but they get know that they are too late already. Robots are already stealing the Bail. Arthur, Ford, Trillian and Slaribartfast return to the Bistromath and try to stop the robots before activating the Wikkit Gate, that would meaning destruction of the Earth
they were against the coming of euro. It's like we'd give away our national bird swallow or even our flag - so people were very defensive about it - and it also has a definite meaning as the attribute of independence. People even arranged many different funerals for the kroon in various places of Estonia on the 31 st of December. Edgar Savisaar, the leader of Centre Party (Keskerakond), has brought out one main point in his article - progressive tax is getting closer. Somehow I'm not very happy about this one. It seems to me that it is a bit unfair. People, who have built their career up with hard work and patience shouldn't pay more taxes for it. Then again, less wealthy families shouldn't be obliged to pay as much as the rich ones do. This is a very complicated problem and I'm not even sure, which side I'm on. meeting place or a starting point for sightseeing. It's also the location of Estonia's most important Christmas tree. Records state that a tree was first placed there in 1441, earlier than in any other European country. According to modern customs the Mayor of Tallinn lights the first candles of the tree. There are many more interesting places to visit in Tallinn but these 5 are the most beautiful for me. I love the Old Town of Tallinn because the old buildings have somehow preserved very well. I am proud to live in Tallinn.
end, and they wanted to go home. The pair didn't, however fly directly to London. They still wanted to enjoy one or two days in Paris. They were in town until the evening when they went to Ritz hotel, which belongs to Dodi's father. After the dinner at Ritz hotel they wanted to go to Dodi's private villa. They tried to avoid the journalists and even changed the car. There were two bodyguards sitting in the front and Dodi and Diana sitting in the back of the car. Somehow photographers still followed them. They were followed by photographers on motorbikes. Henri Paul, the driver, gave gas. When the speed limit was 80km/h, then he drove at 180km/h. Shortly after the entrance to the tunnel he completely lost control over the car. The car skidded, lurched from side to side and finally crashed at high speed into the 13th concrete post. Nobody in the car wore a seatbelt. The driver and Dodi died immediately
e-reader built-in English dictionary-thesaurus. (No Estonian words there, either.) As to written English. Well, that began with me keeping a secret diary for years and years, and since I was the only one in the family to have any understanding of English, I wrote in English. I can honestly say I wrote in English before I knew how. But I learned by reading. I also learned by listening and watching very many movies. (Most subtitles are horrible anyhow.) And some day somehow I started writing more than just a diary. I told stories in English. By now, I've been writing fantasy novels in English for six or seven years. I'm not perfect and I always need some good native speakers for my beta readers, and I have to explain editors that I'm not native and hence make some strange mistakes – and battle with some Estonians that no, I don't think Estonian is ugly and English is so cool and that's why I write my stuff in English. I think a part of it was
Racism then, is the discrimination or prejudice of a person or group based on the racial group she or they belong to. It's not that simple, however. The term racism is actually used in many ways. Some refer to racism as white supremacism, the belief that the Caucasian race is superior to all other races. Others define racism as discrimination against a particular race's culture, beliefs or traditions. Racism might refer to the idea that a single race is somehow purer than other races, or that one race genetically exhibits dominance over others. Some believe that race can be a way to determine behavior and performance. Racism in Obama's life When Barack Obama became the first man of African descent to be elected president on Nov. 4, 2008, the world largely viewed it as a boon to race relations. After all, if the country could transcend its ugly racial history to elect a biracial black man president, wasn't it a sign that the U.S
The writers' narratives follow closely the linear chronology of any voyage that has a beginning, a development Á with an inevitable number of adventures and climactic points Á and an (open) ending. Yet, the general perspective is somehow reinforced by the narrators' re- crossing of borders, one year after their first visit. However, travel books are also autobiographical writings, and as such they inscribe the writers as narrators/characters in their texts. Thus, the authors not only
Cassio and that he will bring Othello to witness the meeting. Act 3 Scene 1 Cassio sends musicians to play outside of Othello’s window, hoping to win back some of his friend’s support. However, Othello sends his servant to wave them away. Cassio begs the servant for a message to be sent to Emilia in order for him to gain access to Desdemona. Iago appears and tells Cassio that he will retrieve Emilia and somehow get Othello away so as Cassio can speak with Desdemona. When Emilia arrives, she relays how Othello and Desdemona have been discussing the case and that even though Desdemona has been pleading his case, the reinstatement of Cassio is impractical because of Montano’s popularity in Cyprus. Emilia eventually lets Cassio enter, telling him to wait while she fetches Desdemona. Scene 2 Othello and Iago, with a Cyprus gentleman walk at a nearby citadel, discussing matters of state.
