It is better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven
People have different opinions about this quote . It makes them think and discuss about Hell and Heaven.
I think that this quote means that it is much easier to be a ruler of a place that has no rules and bans. People are allowed to do anything they want, but they still have to somehow obey to the ruler of the Hell s.
However in Heaven the ruler has been and will be God. There you must obey and honor the God anyway.
If you have lived your life like God would have wanted you to live and you already are in heaven then it is better to serve in heaven. You have lived for God. You have sacrificed and done everything for being accepted there. If you really believe that Heaven is the place where you want to be then you must follow the right lifestyle, because you do not want to be in a place where you are not wanted.
However there are people who go to hell for spiteful sins. Some people don’t even care what effect their action has on somebody else . Those people can’t even rule in Hell, they must serve there. Yet, people who just do what is best for them and for their natives are good enough to rule in Hell.
I think that every person has a right to decide what the best option for them is. They have a variety of pick and I am sure that they will pick the right one.

MARIANE I think . . . MADAME PERNELLE O dearie me, his little sister! You're all demureness, butter wouldn't melt In your mouth, one would think to look at you. Still waters, though, they say . . . you know the proverb; And I don't like your doings on the sly. ELMIRE But, mother . . . MADAME PERNELLE Daughter, by your leave, your conduct In everything is altogether wrong; You ought to set a good example for 'em; Their dear departed mother did much better. You are extravagant; and it offends me, To see you always decked out like a princess. A woman who would please her husband's eyes Alone, wants no such wealth of fineries. CLEANTE But, madam, after all . . . MADAME PERNELLE Sir, as for you, The lady's brother, I esteem you highly, Love and respect you. But, sir, all the same, If I were in my son's, her husband's, place, I'd urgently entreat you not to come Within our doors. You preach a way of living That decent people cannot tolerate.

have good reputation, a lot of money and friends. By the virtue of human wanting power it is obvious that being powerful is connected with competitiveness.(Wolff, 1996) But competitiveness is not bad because it is only impulsion. Hobbes also said that sometimes power depends from our strength. (Wolff, 1996) It means that stronger person will have power over the weakers. Hobbes adds also that it is because of human personality. It means that there are more than one people who wants the same thing. So Hobbes says that in nature condition no one can be protected from possible attack. Everything that I have might others desire so I must be beware of that. What is even worse, people do not only search possibilities to satisfy one need, but also power to satisfy every kind of needs that may come in the future. (Wolff, 1996) There are also people who use power to attack even those who do not threat them

billion or so you could have a great one. Personality However, merely creating a new university would not be enough to start a silicon valley. The university is just the seed. It has to be planted in the right soil, or it won't germinate. Plant it in the wrong place, and you just create Carnegie-Mellon. To spawn startups, your university has to be in a town that has attractions other than the university. It has to be a place where investors want to live, and students want to stay after they graduate. The two like much the same things, because most startup investors are nerds themselves. So what do nerds look for in a town? Their tastes aren't completely different from other people's, because a lot of the towns they like most in the US are also big tourist destinations: San Francisco, Boston, Seattle

had been independent for three years under the great Osagyefo Kwame Nkumah. It was a time for celebrating Africa’s coming of age, as more and more African countries received their independence either from Britain or France. It was especially a poignant time for Africa, as then British Prime Minister Harold McMillan articulated his now famous “winds of change” sweeping Africa. We had high hopes for Africa, for the Black race, that the insidious imposition of foreign rule on us, the looting of Africa’s natural resources by our colonial masters accorded us would be things of history. That is more than forty years ago. Unfortunately, the promise of independence has not been fulfilled. Today, Africa has become more desolate; there is more starvation, diseases and non-provision of essential services than when we got our independence. There are all kinds of wars in Africa than the rest of world put together.
