I am writing to inform you about my bad experiences I had while staying at your hotel from 1st of December to 4th of December. First of all, I stayed at a small room with noisy guests in the next room. Although, I had been told that I would be staying at a large private room far away from other guests. Second of all, the food was terrible. However, the brochure said that you have one of the best chefs in your hotel and that the food will be amazing. Furthermore, when I got the bill, I was shocked how overcharged I was. I assume you will replace my bad experiences with a full refund. I hope that this will not happen anymore and you improve your service. Yours faithfully, Kristi Rapper
fish, and I just wanted to eat it all. But then a fishbone got stuck inside of my throat. I was crying because it hurt me very badly. Then my mother asked me: "Oh my god! What is it, dear son?" then she saw a fish on the ground. My mother called ambulance and we went to the car right after. When we arrived to the hospital, then some nurses came to me and put me on a wheeled bed. They rolled me to the room where they took the bone out of my throat. I was so shocked that they had to give me a tranquilizer. Doctors kept my family informed what was happening with me. I was in hospital for 2 days before I got back home. That is a small story about my childhood, when I was about 3 year's old kid.
A day out to remember It was a sunny summer day. I woke up, like always, brushed my teeth and went to eat. After all that, I chill in my computer, chat with friends and just watched TV. I had a phone call, I was a little bit surprised because it was my old friend with who I didn't see a long time. she called me, to ask, whether i want to go out with her. I agree and started to dress. When I stepped out from the house, I looked around and see that day was wonderful. When I was walking by the old lady, she was smiling to me, I smiled to her too. And then she said something strange, she said < Be careful today, girl. > At first I didn't notice it, but when I walked more I started to think about this. I started to walk across the road and then everybody around started to scream, I stopped, and then realized, if I had been stepping one step more, the car would have ran me over and then may be I would ...

When she comes to, Bundle learns that Jimmy and been arrested, in the murders of her two friends and he steged the fight and shot himself in the arm. The Seven Dials group was after him and now they had him so they wanted Bundle to take the place of one of the Seven Dials members that tied. Bill was so happy that she was alive that he proposed to her. I really liked this book for its suspenseful quality and its unexpected outcome. The book kept me wondering what will happen and the ending shocked me. Bundle was an interesting character in the book because she was a determined, independant girl which was unusual in the late 1920's. The characters and the setting work together to make an enticing story that ends with a cheerful outlook on life. The story started out with bleak murders but ended with a wonderful proposal.
I think it is that way because we produce too much and use too much packages. We should produce only as much we really need or in the future a really big part of earth would be covered with trash and air full of smog and acid rain. Also we should think some reusable way for packaging. Thirdly we are not thinking what we do with our everyday behaviour to the future. Almost a week ago we took a test, which showed how many planets is your ecological footprint. Mine was 3,22. It shocked me and after that I have started to think more about easy things we can do often. Like turning the water off while brushing your teeth, driving less with your car. Also before a trip I have never taught, what flying with an airplane does to the environment, next time I will. For conclusion I think we should think more about the future of our planet. We should waist less clean water, produce only as much as we really need and also think about reusable packaging and

The steps behind me began to explode and I ran fast down the stairs. I looked around and I noticed a little creature standing next to me. It was really short and green. The creature turned its head to me and said:”Hello, who are you?” I was so shocked, I was speechless. The creature continued to talk:”Well, I’m Bob. I am a Kafrologian and I have been living here for 652 years. But who are you?” I was so stunned I just stutterd some words:” I.. am.. Olaf, I’m from Orlando.” Bob said:”Come, I’ll show you the village.” Olaf:”Okay.” and they went through a tunnel. The village was very sweet and everywhere were tiny houses, decorated with flowers

I was used to do thing with my sister but now that i was married i was going do to these thing with my husband. We were working out together. Soon after that i got acquainted with his true personality unless before that i was too blind to see what he was really like. Time went by and we had been married almost 5 years but everything changed one night. We were out with our friends and he started to act crazy so i went off as soon as he made fun of my looks. He was really shocked. At home i told him that we need to get divorced besides the fact that i still loved him. He strated to go through the motions whether i liked them or not. Finally i told him that i was stuck in this marriage beacuse he was too controlling. He told my that he will give me the divorce over his dead body. So i desided to go the whole hog however he had no idea what i was planning. I moved out of the house and about month after that he received a letter that he must come to court.
He was born as a woman, but when she was about twenty five, she had the sex change operation but kept his female genitals. So, ten and more years later he was ready to give birth to a baby. Many people present, including Oprah, were tolerant about that and encouraged him, also said that it is very normal and brave thing to do. Thomas got many supporting letters from all over the world and neighbours baked cakes for him and his wife. But I was shocked to the bone by that. Who was he? A man or a woman? He was a man in appearance, but biologically a woman. He considered himself to be a man, but carried out the female social role. I am confused where are we going to end up when everyone starts having this kind of an identity crisis? I just have no idea. Continuing on the topic of operations, there is this being beautiful, perfect and forever young mentality
Why’s everyone outside? Why is the rainbow so different?“ I asked him. My friend didn’t answer. Suddenly I heard something strange. The city gates opened and an army of monsters came in. They were all dressed in black. They had big teeth and they were carrying swords and gems. They had a very similar faces to humans, but something was different. They had tales. I couldn’t understand whether they were humans or animals. I was really scared. Suddenly they shot my friend. I was shocked and I couldn’t believe my eyes. People ran away screaming, some even fainted. I was upset and didn’t know what to do. I closed my eyes for a second. Tears fell down on my face and I asked myself: „Did I really just see, how my best friend died?“ I knew that I had to take myself together. I opened my eyes, stood up and took a guy which was laying in front of me. It was very wet because of the heavy rain. I tried to kill the monster that killed
Transcendentalism was represented in poetry by the work of Walt Whitman (1819- 92). The first of 9 editions of his collection of poems Leaves of Grass appeared in 1855 to little public recognition, although it did win the admiration of Whitman's mentor Ralph Waldo Emerson. In his poems Whitman celebrates America, its natural beauty, its people and its spirit of democracy. He also explores himself, his feelings, perceptions and intuitions. Many contemporary readers were shocked by his celebration of the body and the theme of love between man and man which led to rumours about his homosexuality. Whitman was a highly experimental poet who believed that poetry should not be bound by rules and restrictions. He tended to avoid the use of metaphors or similes and his poetry is often strongly declarative and non-figurative. The poetry of Whitman's contemporary, Emily Dickinson (1830-1886), was even more strikingly original
" "But I can't! Our parents passed away when Elisa was still a baby and uncle, who's been raising us can't even cook! I mustn't leave my little sister alone!" The doctor thought for a moment and then said, "I know! I have a little cottage in Mellow, a village by the river Ray. Maybe it's possible to take Elisa with me! I'm going there myself with Theresa tomorrow. She could really use some fresh air at the moment. So what you think, lady Mary?" Both of the girls were staring at him, both being shocked by the man's words. The doctor smiled and Mary jumped to him to give him a hug. "Oh, thank you, dear Doctor! Thank you so much!" she screamed. The man seemed happy and said," Well, go then and pack her things! I'll be waiting here, with this young miss." Mary ran happily off and told Elisa she'll be going with dr. Winchester to his cottage for a couple of weeks. Elisa didn't understand what was so wonderful in that. "But Mary," she said, "Why must I go? I can live here on my own as well!"

Bella notices that Edward is measuring her reactions, clearly hoping to find her afraid or disgusted by what she sees. But instead of being afraid, Bella reaches out and runs her fingers through Jacob's fur. She is surprised by how it is both rough and soft. Suddenly Jacob licks her across her entire face, laughing and jumping out of the way when she yells and smacks at him playfully in response. Both vampires and werewolves, and especially Edward, are all shocked and bewildered by the encounter. The wolves leave, but Jacob stays behind. Jacob speaks to Edward through his mind, eventually turning back into his human form to openly discuss Bella's safety during the newborn battle. Edward is reluctant to involve Jacob initially, but is pleasantly surprised by the ideas Jacob presents. They agree to work together, making a plan to mask the scent of Bella's trail with Jacob's. They decide to place Seth Clearwater with Bella in hiding, using
control it any more. Then he crashed. As a result the crates, where the chickens were held, went to pieces and chickens broke free. At the moment there is a real chaos in the middle on Mellowtown, chickens everywhere and pieces of the crates also. And what's worst, as there is worldwide bird flu epidemic, people are frightened maybe some of the chickens are diseased and that they could catch the infection. All the citizens look shocked. I asked local police officer Arthur Brown to comment what had happened. He said it is early to answer. He is still investigating, but he added that it seems that the farmer had been careless, because the load wasn't secured properly. Officer Brown said that the main priority at the moment is to clean up the mess and to catch all the chickens before they make more damage. I caught a witness, a photographer Jane Lens, who was at the scene when it all happened

Both the kings and popes wanted more power and authority. First big quarrel was between William Rufus and Anselm. Finally they agreed on that only church has the power to make bishops. The crisis came when Henry II's friend Thomas Becket was made the Archbishop of Canterbury. Henry hoped that he will help him bring the church more under his control but Thomas didn't agree to it. He was murdered by Henry's knights on altar steps in the cathedral. All Christian Europe was shocked and Becket became the saint of Church. The Beginnings of Parliament King John has signed the Magna Carta unwillingly and it was pretty clear he wasn't going to keep to the agreement. His Son Henry III was only 16 when John died and during the first 16 year of being king he was under the control of the nobles and tied to Magna Carta. When he became 25, he spent his time with his foreign friends and became involved in expensive wars supporting Sicily. That upset the nobles

toward her, forgives him, and displays a mild and forbearing temperament even toward her evil sisters, Goneril and Regan. Despite her obvious virtues, Cordelia’s reticence makes her motivations difficult to read, as in her refusal to declare her love for her father at the beginning of the play. Goneril - Lear’s ruthless oldest daughter and the wife of the duke of Albany. Goneril is jealous, treacherous, and amoral. Shakespeare’s audience would have been particularly shocked at Goneril’s aggressiveness, a quality that it would not have expected in a female character. She challenges Lear’s authority, boldly initiates an affair with Edmund, and wrests military power away from her husband. Regan - Lear’s middle daughter and the wife of the duke of Cornwall. Regan is as ruthless as Goneril and as aggressive in all the same ways. In fact, it is difficult to think of any quality that distinguishes her from her sister
POETRY IN THE PURITAN AGE - John Donne (1572-1631), born in London, intoa a Roman Catholic family. Throughout this period Donne was tormented by the question of his religion, in 1593 decided to convert to the Protestant faith. In 1601 he was elected Member of Parliament. He wrote essays and pamphlets condemning the Church of Rome. Donne wrote poetry exclusively for personal pleasure. His use, for example, of religious imagery in love poems and images of physical love in religious poetry shocked his contemporaries, and his work was not widely appreciated in the 18th and 19th c. His reputation grew at the beginning of the 20th c, when his passionate, dramatic poetry became popular again, and it is only since then that he has been widely recognised as one of the great poets of the English language. JOHN MILTON (1608-1674) born in London, wealthy family, smart. Political views : supporter of Cromwell and Parliament. He eventually went totally blind

These channels show programmes of various kinds from documentaries, current events and sports to programmes American films and science fiction cartoons. Now this medium of communication allows people to see and speak with each other if they are separated by thousands of kilometres. TV bridges between Russia and the USA once were very popular. They showed that TV was a unifying force and that our planet in reality is a small world. Previously innovations were promoted on TV. TV shocked, surprised and stimulated. It brought ballet, opera, and theatre to big masses of people. It was even in the vanguard of new drama. Moreover, TV can keep children quiet. If they are noisy their mothers turn on the set. If people do not like TV they do not buy it or switch it off. At the same time there are a lot of arguments against TV. It is said that only three generations have grown up with television, but they managed to forget how to spend their free time without television
I was happy, I wanted to shout and scream. You were holding me so tight and I didn't fight. I wanted you to stay with me, I hoped that you will never leave. When you said that I “love You” it was like dream to coming true. I said “I Love You Too” and you were taking to my hand. Now were standing here again, I' asking you if, where and when I see you again. But your answer is that “ No, no more” did I here you right, I'm not sure. I can't beleave you said goodbye to me, I'm shocked and I can't breathe, you were only playing with me. I trusted you and I loved you, but it was all a lie and I, I want to die. she was our leader up until today..." One blond maiden said, "Well, we can handle the leader stuff, but the pianist is still missing..." "And what do want me to do?" asked Alice. "You are Alice Owen, surely you can play it, right?" "Well, my brother is a guitarist, yet dad teached us violin and piano in our childhood." "How old are you?" asked Sheila after a moment of silence. "I'll be 17 in June." "But you look older that's good! Hey, will you be instead of Alexa?" "What?" Alice stood shocked of such an offer, but the others seemed happy about the solution. "I think make-up will suit you perfectly!" "Wow, and look at this shiny blond hair!" "And your cat-yellow eyes are so attractive!" "Your figure has no complaining as well!" "So, shall we start?" Here in Ibiza it's impossible to forget that we still live in a devoutly religious, Catholic country. Visitors to the island at Easter can get a taste of the faith and pageantry of the Ibicencos in the religious processions which take place in the towns and villages. The main ones are in Santa Eulalia and Ibiza town and smaller versions take place in Santa Gertrudis, San Miguel, San Vicente and San Lorenzo. First timers are often shocked at the outfits worn by the 'cofradias' or brotherhoods of penitents whose pointed hats and flowing robes resemble those of the Klansmen of the USA. She already had a neighbor. In fact, all the tables were filled but one. Next to the center aisle, I recognized Edward Cullen by his unusual hair, sitting next to that single open seat. As I walked down the aisle to introduce myself to the teacher and get my slip signed, I was watching him surreptitiously. Just as I passed, he suddenly went rigid in his seat. He stared at me again, meeting my eyes with the strangest expression on his face -- it was hostile, furious. I looked away quickly, shocked, going red again. I stumbled over a book in the walkway and had to catch myself on the edge of a table. The girl sitting there giggled. I'd noticed that his eyes were black -- coal black. Mr. Banner signed my slip and handed me a book with no nonsense about introductions. I could tell we were going to get along. both vernacular and Church-Slavonic. The influence of Peter I and debates over the function and form of literature as it related to the Russian language in the first half of the 18th century set a stylistic precedent for the writers during the reign of Catherine the Great in the second half of the century. However, the themes and scopes of the works these writers produced were often more poignant, political and controversial. Alexander Nikolayevich Radishchev, for example, shocked the Russian public with his depictions of the socio-economic condition of the serfs. Empress Catherine II condemned this portrayal, forcing Radishchev into exile in Siberia. Others, however, picked topics less offensive to the autocrat. Nikolay Karamzin, 17661826, for example, is known for his advocacy of Russian writers adopting traits in the poetry and prose like a heightened sense of emotion and physical vanity, considered to be feminine at the

Süüria chemical weapons doctrine is one of the strongest doctrine ever, respected by almost everyone, that's why people are so shocked about the events there. It's a grave violation of PIL. If there's enough evidence that chemical weapons were used, then war is basically a legal method, but not fully, because it isn't one of the reasons that allows war as a method to resolve conflict. imaginary dialogue, still angrily accusing and asserting her position. My curiosity aroused, I decided to follow her as long as she was walking in the same general direction I had to go in. Although engrossed in her imaginary dialogue, she seemed to know where she was going. Soon we were within sight of the imposing structure of Senate House, a 1930’s high-rise, the university’s central administrative building and library. I was shocked. Was it possible that we were going to the same place? Yes, that’s’ where she was heading. Was she a teacher, student, an office worker, a librarian? Maybe she was some psychologist’s research project. I never knew the answer. I walked twenty steps behind her, and by the time I entered the building (which ironically was the location of the headquarters of the “Mind Police” in the film version of George Orwell’s novel, 1984), she had already been swallowed up by one of the elevators
