Peace and keeping What is peace? It is a state of harmony and the absence of hostility and wars. It sounds simple and easy, but for some reason, throughout the history, it has been very difficult to actually keep peace. Why then is it so important? Firstly, when there is peace, people are happy. Friendly relations with neighbours and different countries give people an oppurtunity to live normal lives. However, for example, when there are some tensions between two countries, the people of those countries would live in constant fear and threat. Secondly, violence is not acceptable in any form or situation. I think that when there are disagreements between some countries, they should try to solve them verbally. Visiting the country for the first time can be difficult because everything is new and unfamiliar.
