Is it better to live in a city or is the countryside? (0)

An essay
Nowadays most people live in a city. However , there are also people living in the countryside . They are two entirely different ways of life - each with their own advantages and disadvantages .
Most of the younger generation lives in the city because there is much more to do than in the countryside. You can go to the cinema , to a theatre, shopping , clubbing, to a gym etc. You will never run out of activities to do. While that may be true, there are some things that you can only do in the countryside for example going fishing , camping or playing outside with your pets . A calm rural lifestyle is for people who enjoy peace and quiet .
In addition to that there is fresh air, which is good for your health. You are also more likely to be more active and walk in the nature . Having said that, in the city there are hospitals and drugstores nearby, so if you get sick or injured, you will have drugs and helpful doctors right around the corner .
From my point of view, living in a city is easier and better because I can have pretty much everything I want, at any time day or night . Public transportation saves the need for a car. All my friends are nearby and I can stay socially active.
In conclusion, I believe living in a city has more advantages but everyone is different and can decide on their own where to live.

HOUSE AND HOME tööleht

HOMES Almost 63% of British people own their own homes. There are about 25 million homes in the UK, of which seven out of 10 are owner-occupied. Most live in terraced houses and tower blocks located mainly in town centres, semidetached houses in districts nearer to town centres, or detached houses which usually lie in expensive suburbs, closer to the countryside than the centre. Many people live in rented accommodation, including council flats and houses built and owned by the local government. Modern council housing estates may be a mixture of different buildings, providing a variety of facilities for their inhabitants, such as play areas for children, a community centre, etc. Since the 1980s, council tenants have been allowed to buy their own homes very cheap if they have lived in them for more than two years. Since the early 1990s, building new houses and flats has been very slow

I put on my dressing-gown, go into bathroom and turn on the bath taps. Good health is better than wealth, so I do my morning exercises. I get breakfast at seven-thirty and listen to the news over the radio. I like to begin the day well, so my breakfast is always a good one. For breakfast I usually have hard-boiled eggs or an omelette, bread and butter, tea or coffee; I read my newspaper with my last cup of coffee before I leave home. Then, I say "Good-bye" to my mother, take my school-bag and go to school. I don't live far from my school, so it doesn't take me long to get there

Do live in the countryside or in the city? essay

Essay Do live in the countryside or in the city? At the time I am living with my mother in the countryside. I am eighteen years old and when I finish school I want to be independent and live on my own. People say that when you live in the countryside you are living the easy life. I agree but physically it is very exhausting. You have to work hard to keep the house and yard clean. When you have a farm there is no lack of work and you always have your hands in the soil. At least there is always some action. Although living in the countryside has few bad sides, I am sure rural life stays always in my heart. To me country life has more pros than cons. If you are a maverick which I am

Living in the countryside – a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship?

Living in the countryside a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship? Living in the countryside might be challenging for a modern human being, but it definitely has benefits for both mind and body. Countryside living spaces are usually less polluted, the pace of life is slower and people are more in touch with nature. Still, there is less entertainment than in cities, distances are longer and it can take much more time to get medical help if needed. Moving from city to country has been the traditional path for those in their 30s and 40s, particularly if children are involved. Nowadays flat rates in cities can be more expensive than living in a house in the countryside. Therefore, living in the countryside can be more affordable. In addition, the countryside is generally quiet and peaceful without the toxic polluted water and air. Some people prefer to live in the country for ecological reasons. For example, eating home-
