The English Language

So we can say that most world languages have contributed some words to English at some time, and the process is now being reversed. Purists of the languages are resisting the arrival of English in their vocabulary. The standard English oh today is known as BBC English. Few British people know much about grammar, since it is not usually taught in schools. Spelling and pronunciation seem to be the most difficult aspects of the English language for foreign students. English is very rich in synonyms. The huge vocabulary is due to the free admission of words from other languages and the easy creation of compounds and derivaties. English vocabulary numbers at least 750,000 words. Educated English speakers use approximately 5,000 words in speech and up to 10,000 in written communication. Shakespeare used a vocabulary of 33,000 words. Old English, had several inflections to show singular and plural, tense, person,

At the moment The Kingdom of Belgium holds in their possession with some other NATO countries the American type B-61 nuclear warheads. We think that by possessing nuclear weapons a country sends out a message not to attack them, as we can see in the example of Pakistan and India. In the future, we would love to see a world without nuclear bombs, but at the moment we just cannot allow us that, because of the conflicts, that are threatening world peace. III. Foreign Military Intervention in Internal Conflicts According to 2014 statistics, as presented by the Fragile State Index, one hundred and twenty-six countries are considered less than stable, with thirty-four countries being in an alert status. What would i change if i were minister of education.

If I were minister of education I would deffenetly prefere American educational system to Russian. Our children should do more practical exercises in school and develop creative thinking. In addition to that I would give more money to our schools and raise also teatchers salary. This would boost up their motivation to give quality education to our children. Also i would invite more exchange students into our schools and send our children more often to learn in foreign countrys. The last thing I would change is the amount of the final exams. I would change all school exams into national exams. I hope that the new generation make necessary changes and my children get more modern and complete education.

These take two principal forms: A loanword is a word in one language taken from another language (e.g. English chair, table, restaurant, gateau from French; note that the first two feel less foreign than the second two, primarily because they were borrowed much earlier and have adapted in various ways to the phonological patterns of English). Why languages essee

the world. Some of the languages are more widely spread than others like English, German and Mandarin language. It is important to learn languages because people travel a lot and then the communication is easier. In the world there are so many languages and it is impossible that we could speak them all. That's why there are some dominant languages. I think one of the most spoken languages is English, because so many people in the world can speak it. Some foreign languages are taught in very young age children. For example in Estonian children learn in school German, Russian and English. Main is English. Main reason why English is so widely spread is because many young people learn English. So when you travel, English is main language you should speak. And it´s good when there are some languages which most of the people can speak because the communication is wide on easy. But most of all I think that the most important is to know your mother tongue

What are the most needed professions in Estonia in the 21st Century

Most needed professions in Estonia in the 21st Century All people in our society have a role. All adults should have jobs. That means they need to choose a professions. In my opinion one the most needed professions is a doctor. When people get sick, they need doctors to check them, put diagnose and treat them. In my opinion there are few specialists in Estonia because lot of them go to foreign country, mostly because of the low salary in Estonia. Another job needed is teachers. If you want to study a specialty or aquire a high school you need teachers who will guide and teach. The third most needed profession is builders. The cities grow and new building`s are being razed and in turn, the economy is growing. Some old houses are being restored like they used to be in the past. I think that all three professions are needed in Estonia and that employees in

Why travel?

Young people choose their destination to somewhere warm and also by the cost, because what is the point of ,,windbathing" in Europe or somewhere like that. Meeting new people, partying till the dawn and comparing each other tans is really fun and relaxing. I find these vacations very memorable because they are so different from the Estonian summers. But travelling is not only for party people, it is also for those who love to discover the foreign world, take pictures of exciting sightseeings while also enjoying it. People who like this kind of travelling are usually adults and elders who want something educational instead of fun. Meeting new countries give them the opportunity to understand different cultures better. It does not matter if you are more like the jet-setter or the culture hobbyist, the main thing is to spend your trip carefree without having any worries. Take

Choices after secondary school

occupations. On the other hand, it is better not to let years between studies. Researches have shown that students, who have worked for few years after secondary school, can't concentrate on their lessons as much as those whose first choice was university. Thirdly, novadays students more often are facing financial problems. Lots of them are thinking that it is useful to work abroad in order to pay fees at university. Also, working in foreign countries is an advantage to improve your language skills. Last but not least, I think eightteen-year-old students aren't ready to start their career. Futhermore, they are usually working at low-paid occupations. It's because they don't have any profession after graduating and their working experience level is mainly zero. To sum up, I feel it would be better to go to university after graduation because after working student won't be able to focus on studies.

If i were the minister of Estonia

If I were minister of education I would deffenetly prefere American educational system to Russian. Because our new generation of children use English a lot more than Russian. In addition I would give more money to renovate our schools and raise also teatchers salary and students scholarship. This would boost up their motivation to give quality education to our children. Also i would invite more exchange students into our schools and send our children more often to learn in foreign countrys. Finally, as far as I know from year to year decrease in the number of high school graduates. And this is a great loss for our education. Because we need more and more people to teach at the University of engineers and IT professionals. In conclusion, educational needs of our increasingly well-educated people. This is our future. High School education should be more valued. But most students are going to learn a vocational school. But all this can be changed.

Supported by multilateral financial institutions, Jamaica has, since the early 1980s, sought to implement structural reforms aimed at fostering private sector activity and increasing the role of market forces in resource allocation. Since 1991, the Government has followed a programme of economic liberalization and stabilization by removing exchange controls, floating the exchange rate, cutting tariffs, stabilising the Jamaican currency, reducing inflation

Most needed professions in Estonia in 21st century

Most needed professions in Estonia in 21st century All people in society have a role. All adults should have jobs. Some professions are more needed in society than others. In Estonia we need mostly newer professions, connected with computers. I think doctor is a most needed profession. We have so many illnesses and nobody knows what it is. We need people, who help us to cope with them. In Estonia doctors earn not much money, that's why a lot of them go to foreign country to work and to earn their living. The second most needed profession is connected with computers. More growing computer using and replacing jobs with robots and computer programs leaves some people without jobs. But companies need somebody to look after the computers and computer repairmen who know how to fix the computer problems. There are viruses computers and hackers who try brake in computers and all companies computers need to protected from those threats.

For and against Estonian troops on peace keeping missions

I am sure that nobody likes war. Nowadays peace-keeping missions are becoming very popular. Different countries for example Estonia send troops to keep peace in some country where at this instant the war is taking place. But is it necessary? Some point of view peace-keeping missions are important. For example counrty what needs help, can be very weak and needs reinforcement. Also then Estonian forces knows, that if Estonia have foreign policy problems, then this country might helps us too. Secondly if Estonian troops are on peace-keeping missions, then powerful countries might see that our troops are quite practical and this increases our relationships with world countries. Negative is that peace-keeping missions can be very dangerous. Like couple year ago, Estonian soldier died in Afganistan, but he hasn`t been the only one. Even now, estonians
