Public International Law is a system of law

There can be specific cases of PIL, e.g. nations fighting for their independence. These can be considered to be subjects of PIL. Also, some exceptions: International Committee of Red Cross, formerly it wasn't covered by PIL, but due to its unique status (covered by Geneva conventions etc), then it is a subject of PIL. PIL directly regulates private persons, e.g. punishment of international crimes (crimes against peace=crime of aggression, genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes). This is if specific countries do not want to punish the criminals, specific international tribunals etc are created to do the job for them. Humanitarian doctrine if a certain country violates human rights very severely and if other attempts have failed to prevent and stop this, then war can be used as a method to stop this stuff. Süüria chemical weapons doctrine is one of the strongest doctrine ever, respected by almost

Essey: How does the United States influence Estonia

amount of influence from other countries, whether it is the language, eating habits or lifestyle. But how has United States influenced Estonia after we gained our independence? Estonia is not economically dependent on the United States as they are not one of our most important trading partners, but as the economics of the United States has a great influence on the world economy, they can still indirectly have an influence on Estonian economy. In Estonian politics the influence of the United States can be seen the most in relations with NATO. Estonian national security is built up on being a member of NATO and depending on it's system of collective defense. The United States with it's second biggest army in the world is the most influential member of NATO and therefore we can say that in the sense of national security we depend on them. For this reason Estonian politics are very much interested in having good political

If you have created something, then try to be open minded

Teacher: O'Mahony V.PG 11A 09.03.2009 This written essay here is talking about my thoughts and facts of life, what is around us. First I thought that why is always easier to create something but to destroy is much harder. Exactly there have been so many wars in history. Everybody wanted to own a lot of countries and others had to fight for their created country. Also they started to teach young people to kill and protect their country with killing enemies. Also government tried to keep a low profile, if there were some wars in state. These are my thoughts of creating and keeping something. In the old times were many wars. Some states predominated over other weaker countries or states. Weaker countries had created their own and loved country and they wanted to live like that for a long time. But also stronger countries wanted to broaden their boards and become bigger than other strong states. I think that little countries scared. I

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

India. The main reason for these defeats was that the Indian prince, Haidar Ali's army included a corps of rocket throwers. They used very large bamboo rockets which had a range of hundreds of metres. The British were determined to learn from their mistakes and a British officer, William Congrieve, began work on developing even bigger and better rockets. Within a few years Congrieve had developed 14 kg iron rockets that could be fired over 3200 m. These rockets were successfully used against Napoleon in the battle of Waterloo and during the US War of Independence. By the 1889s other applications for rockets were being developed. They were used for signalling, for whaling, and even for rescuing people from sinking ships. If a boat got into trouble near to the shore, a rocket with a thin rope tied to it would be fired out over the boat; survivors in lifeboats could use the ropes to pull themselves ashore

Freedom of speech

way some teachers are just waitening it. As well as people can not speak along with state public topics and express their opinion. Therefore freedom of speech is debateable. Already from the old times Estonians have been fighting for their own freedom, because they do not like to allow to another country or state, foreign public and foreign language. Estonian public have been fighting with German, Russian and a lot of other states. Estonians has strongly tried to keep alive their own nationality, independent that Estonia is a very small state in comparison with other states. Thanks to the Tartu peace treaty, liberty war, finally public achieved to their state a freedom. Republic gives to people feeling that they are free inside and outside to express their own opinion on many subjects. Anyway if I live in Republic I should have to be a chance to express my opinion. There is still a place, where I can not do this

To what extent does the media influence foreign policy?

behavior. (Michael Tomz, 2017) Mass communication can create a public opinion of politicians and their views in a negative or positive prospect. I as a citizen have a liability to go and vote in elections every year, I can say that I am really affected by the media and how they show different candidates. I as an elector feel the pressure to make the right decision and give my power to the right persons, who can formulate foreign policy to keep good state-related relationships. Decisions that policymakers do depend on their views and values, why it is important to select the right person with the appropriate conception. A good example of media impact on policy is from England when The British government decided to join the European common market in 1961 but failed to do so due to a lack of public support. Political parties and interest groups gradually steered British public opinion in favour of joining the common market by 1967
