RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER
Rudolph: Hi! I am Rudolph.
Yes, that is my name.
Please , look at my face .
Oh, what a shame!
So. What can you see?
Are you sure it’s a rose ?
No. I am so sorry
but it is my nose.
Reindeer 1: Look at his nose!
Reindeer 2: This reindeer is nonsense !
Reindeer 3: If he is a reindeer
then I am a princess.
Oh, where is my crown ?
Reindeer 4: He looks like a clown!
D1: Apple-pie!
D2: Simple Simon!
D3: Silly-Billy!
D4: Handkerchief!
D1: Humpty Dumpty!
D2: Plum-tree!
D3: A bumble-bee!
D4: Cat in a hat!
D1: Wee Willie Winkie
D2: Spooky old bat!
D3: The weirdest rat!
Rudolph: Don’t talk to me like that!
What have I done to you?
D1, 2, 3, 4: Sorry! Oh, we are so sorry!
D2: Well, come and play with us.
Let’s play the “Sleighs and the Bus”!
D3: It’s easy to play. Really , don’t worry !
(D1, 2, 3, 4 all bump into Rudolph at the same time from different directions. Rudolph falls down.)
R: Hey, deer! It’s not fair !
Why did you bump into me?
My horns can be broken
and I cannot see.
D1: It is only a game. So please don’t pout.
D2: Otherwise we will simply leave you out.
D3: How can we play hide -and- seek with you?
D4: Your nose glows too much, there ’s nothing we can do.
D1, 2, 3, 4: Wherever you hide – we’ll just come and find you!
(3 elves come in.)
Elf 1: Hey, deer, the day has gone at last.
Elf 2: We start at midnight and we must be fast.
Elf 3: Santa will come to you
and he will say
E 1, 2, 3: who has he chosen
to be the lead of the sleigh.
Deer 1, 2, 3, 4: Oh, I hope , that is me!
D1: May-be that’s me!
D2: Perhaps he chose me!
D3: If he leaves me out, oh, I will get sick.
D4: I want to help and I’m totally quick .
Rudolph (whispering): I’d like to go too
but I’m too shy to say
and they don’t want me anyway.
(starts to cry, goes behind bushes, hiding, crying)
(Santa comes .)
Santa: So. The names
of the team of my sleigh.
Dasher! (1: Oh, yeah!)
Dancer ! (2: That’s me!)
Prancer! (3: Hurray!)
Vixen! (4: Oh, yeah, cool!)
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen!
D1,2: Look! The weather is not the best .
D3,4: It’s the thickest fog I have seen .
E1: We have been put to the test
or you call me just Mr Bean .
D1: It’s quite all right
if we find a light .
D2: But it must be strong
and it must last long.
(Rudolph: comes out of the bushes.)
R: I can be the saver.
So, I must be braver.
At least I could tell them
that I’m able to help them.
(Goes to the others )
Rudolph: I’m sorry, my nose
is more like a rose
but it prettily glows
and nobody knows
if it could show the way
to Santa’s valuable sleigh.
Deer 1, 2, 3, 4, Elves, Santa: Oh, Rudolph, you saved our Christmas tonight
Deer 1, 2, 3, 4: We’ve been so mean and we weren’t right.
Elves: But you are the best. Yes, you are the hero .
Deer 1, 2, 3, 4: We others are worth even less than a zero .
Santa: The fog is so thick, we could say only “sorry!”
Elves: And then you appeared and whispered, “Don’t worry!”
D1: We have our lantern, our magnificant light
D2: that helps us manage so well. It’s all right!
D3: We’ll try to be better in all we were wrong.
D4: Please be our friend and let’s now sing this song :
You know Dasher and Dancer
And Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid
And Donner and Blitzen.
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Play in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say,
“Rudolph with your nose so bright
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”
Then all the reindeer loved him
And they shouted out with glee,
“Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
You’ll go down in history!”

Näidend, mis sobib esitamiseks jõulude ajal. Baseerub laulule "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". Olen ise korduvalt seda õpilastega lavastanud ja neile on alati meeldinud. Minu kogemus on, et sobib u 4. - 5. klassis esitamiseks. Sõltub muidugi tasemest.

Sylvia Day Bared to You Sylvia Day Bared to You The first book in the Crossfire series, 2012 This one is for Dr. David Allen Goodwin. My love and gratitude are boundless. Thank you, Dave. You saved my life. Acknowledgments My deepest gratitude to my editor, Hilary Sares, who really dug into this story and made me work for it. Basically, she kicked my ass. By not pulling her punches or letting me shortchange the details, she made me work harder and because of that, this story is a much, much better book. BARED TO YOU wouldn't be what it is without you, Hilary. Thank you so much! To Martha Trachtenberg, copy editor extraordinaire. This book is an important one for me and she treated it that way. Thank you, Martha! To Victoria Colotta, for all her hard work on the i

Yes, so it is, but, I do have a certain reason. Do you remember Sir Thom of the Minquettes'? That fine young man with fascinating blue eyes... Oh, my sweet Mary, you will never guess what happened yesterday! It was about seven o'clock in the evening when Lillian called me out for a walk you know I can't say `no' to my little sis. Anyway we went to the forest near the Swan Lake and, believe it or not, got lost! Awful! I was so scared... We walked and walked, not even knowing the direction we were heading to, until we reached a huge mansion. And the garden around it was so extraordinary... That is something you just must see! But neither the trees nor flowers could be as wonderful as the owner himself! Sir Thom treated us tea and sandwiches, not forgetting to show us way back to the village. He was so kind, don't you think?
