Summary - IT in motorsport

Summary I made my presentation about infotechnology usage in motorsport. I chose this topic because I am an infotechnology student and also I have been rally driver since 2009. I believed this could be interesting topic for others to hear because you can’t really find much information about the technologies used in different motorsport disciplines from the Internet but you can learn about them usually when somebody tells you about those technologies. Because I’m a rally driver and I know most about rallying I focused on rally and in addition

Report on the students` exercise preference

Date: 3rd April 2017 Introduction The aim of this report is to describe the changes in the students' exercise preferences, speculate on the reasons for the shifts and make recommendations for the sports centre on which facilities and training opportunities to include in the future. Female students Yoga and Pilates have remained the most popular exercise routines among the young women, who are acquiring education. From 2010 to 2015, the percentage of female students, who chose one of these two training programs, stayed at 45%. The reason for the lack of shift might be that the interests of the young women, who are acquiring education and practicing yoga or Pilates, have not changed. Male students Weightlifting has remained the most popular exercise routine among the young men, who are acquiring education. From 2010 to 2015, the percentage of male students, who chose this training program, stayed at 45%. The reason for the lack of shift might

Some people say that popular British-American traditions are destroying Estonian culture

Some people say that popular British-American traditions are destroying Estonian culture Always people have been interested about different cultures and I think, it's normal and good because it shows people want to know new things, improve their skills and widen their horizon. I chose this topic because I mostly agree with this. First either way is Estonian culture a mix of different cultures. Different countries like Germany and Russia have influenced our cultur e. For example Seto people have polyphonic folk music because of Russia, rest of Estonia don't have it. Secondly I think nowadays it's normal that people take over some things in different cultures because we have globalization. For example people increasingly celebrate Halloween in Estonia. I believe because of things like that people say that British-American traditions are destroying. Finally I believe that British-American traditions are destroying w...

Sheep senses and social cognition

They cannot see immediately in front of their noses. Some vertical vision may also have been sacrificed in order to have a wider field of vision. For example, it is doubtful that a sheep would be able to see something in a tree. There was a research about sheep recognising faces and genders. Pictures of sheep and humans were shown. Sheep was supposed to choose between face images in order to gain access to the real individuaal whose face-picture had been seen. The sheep chose sheep faces over human ones and familiar sheep faces over unfamiliar ones. For the studies was used only female sheep. So when they were sexually interested they chose male faces every time. Color perception Contrary to previous thought, sheep and other livestock perceive colors, though their color vision is not as well-developed as it is in humans. Sheep will react with fear to new colors. Hearing Sheep have excellent hearing. They can direct their ears in the direction of a sound. Sound

Letter of Complaint

I believe your advertisement was misleading in a number of ways. Firstly, it was said to be delivered within ten days but when I received the package, three weeks had already passed. Also, my friend's birthday had passed, it was supposed to be a gift for him. I had to buy a new gift for him and now I do not have anything to do with this figure. Secondly, the figure was cracked and it did not look like the one on the advertisement. The engraved message I chose was also wrong and misspelled. The plaque surface where the message was engraved was scratched and silver but it should have been golden, like it was written in the advertisement. Thirdly, it was mentioned that each figure comes on a wooden stand but mine was on a plastic stand and I noticed some trace of glue, this seemed quite careless. Furthermore, it was wrapped up very carelessly and there were many little pieces in the box. They were very dangerous for children

Sisters

But Denis never thought so; he still cared about his little sisters, as they were babies in his mind. A sudden voice broke the silence Creasha had almost fallen asleep in. Suzan opened her eyes as well and whispered," I've heard this sound before, it's dad's car." In a couple of minutes the twins got dressed. Suzan, who had short, red hair and big, deep blue eyes just like Creasha, put on a white knee-length dress, while black-haired sister chose a black dress and a shiny golden bracelet. "Why that?" Suzan asked her, yet the twin only smiled. They were similar, but thought very differently especially Creasha, who considered herself a mighty bounty hunter as well, just as Denis was is the eyes of the society. "Let's check that noise out," said Creasha and jumped from the open window to the slippery rooftop. "Are you crazy? You'll get killed there!" "Come and help me then!" "You idiot!" But Creasha only smiled as an answer.

dying by one third by only taking a two minute break every hour to go for a walk. It doesn’t have to be outside or anything, you can do it even at your office. I think, that this survey is of much help to a lot of people who have to work sitting down. It is stated, that by walking only for two minutes in every hour you can live a lot healthier than by sitting down the entire day. I’m sure that every person who works seated should read this article in order to live a healthier life. I chose this article because I found it interesting. Now I know, that by taking as little as two minutes every hour to go for a walk I have a healthier life-style than the ones who choose to sit down for long periods of time every day.

How to find work you love, Ted talks

I think that's the main reason why people don't make the right choices. I and Scott Dinsmore think the same way- that the environment and peole around you matter. When I was choosing my specialty, I did exactly what he refers to. I figured myself out and realized that right now and for the rest of my life I want to work with multimedia and that doesn't mean I can't accomplish other dreams too, like study medicine, design, art, music and so on. I'm absolutely sure, that I chose the right path. His advice is that you shouldn't do something because everyone says your supposed to. You should accomplish your own impossibilities and surround yourself with passionate people.

“What does success come from?”

make us easily be confused when too many new things need figuring out. Of course, in business, sometimes we can not predict what will happen and that there is some thing out of plan is inevitable. But with well planning that mentions all the possible situations, we can quickly back on our feet, or even turn mistakes into advantages as well. However, the issue is still debated, maybe other people have their own reasons to chose taking risks or chances but in my opinion, with such clear and stable reasons above, I ensure that careful planning results in success.

Its name is Jannsen and it was named after the Estonian journalist Johann Voldemar Jannsen. I actually have quite many supermarkets around me but I chose this one because I feel like it has more of a story than the others. When you get to the building and have a look at it, you would definitely think that it needs renovation and it is definitely quite old and is from the Soviet times. It is actually really colourful, compared to most supermarkets, therefore it attracts all kinds of children from the area. It has a huge variety of materials in the shop, starting from fruit and vegetables and ending with toys, clothes and even cooking meals

What methods should parents and governments use to tackle obesity in schoolchildren?

By changing living habits and stepping up as good role models parents should adapt food that is beneficial and doing sports into normal everyday life. If this is what kids are used to doing in a young age the more likely they will use the same technique when raising their own children in the future. An alternative approach that is definitely not less important- providing schoolkids many interesting and unusual workouts such as archery and rowing so every child can chose his/ her passion, something that keeps them exited and as a big bonus- fit. Maintaining unique trainings can be expensive and troublesome for schools. There can be no doubt that this is a place where the government should take action and channel more money into children after school activities. In conclusion, giving schoolkids more challenging and fun opportunities to do sports would surely change their life for the better. But changing eating habits is more efficient

Teater NO99

Theatre NO99 I chose to write about this theatre because I like it the most. It is the most modern theatre I think and the plays are also most startling and astonishing, compare to other theatres in Estonia. It began to operate in February 2005, so it is one of the youngest theatres in Estonia. Probably that's why it is very different from the others and its repertoire is more contemporary then classical. Their first play what "Sometimes you feel that life will end and there hasn't been any love". The

The Black Pyramid

About the pyramid § When construction of the pyramid was nearly complete, the architects of Amenemhat III became aware of structural problems. The pyramid was being crushed under its own weight walls and ceilings were being pushed down and doorframes began to buckle. § The substructure of the pyramid contained a large complex array of chambers and corridors which weakened the pyramid core. About the pyramid § Amenemhat III chose the site of Hawara, south of Cairo in the Fayum region, as the location of his new pyramid and the Black Pyramid was abandoned. § Today, the Black Pyramid is in a restricted military zone and has been closed to tourists due to its collapsed condition. Why did I choose university education over vocational training?

towards future career, it might not be the best way. Why? Because we have reached the stage where we have more people with higher education than we have jobs that require that kind of educational degree. To fix the issue, numerous studies have been carried out and many of them recommend choosing vocational training over universities or going to the university only if you have plans for your future career. Relying on the last point before mentioned I have to say that I chose university education over vocational education because I have had a dream of becoming a real estate developer and broker since my early childhood and there was no specialty available that would support my dream job. Also, in Estonia the ones who are not the sharpest pencils in the drawer and just want to learn some specialty often choose vocational schools as, then they have less struggles when finding a job in the future.

Ralph Lauren

stylish in his expensive threads -- and he has succeeded at looking cool in his attire since the age of 12. Lauren studied business at City College in Manhattan, and dropped out short of receiving his business degree. While working at A. Rivetz & Co., Lauren began designing wide ties, which spawned his first entrepreneurial career. With his tie designs and a $50,000 loan, Lauren founded the company Polo Fashions in 1968. Along with his older brother, he chose the name Polo because of the power, style and intrigue that the brand has always been associated with. The Polo brand known today as the preppy English-tweed look it conveys did not get to be a million dollar empire because Lauren was lucky, nor because Lauren had an immaculate sense of style. Lauren not only had an innovative mind, but he also knew that packaging and presentation were of utmost importance -- something he didn't need to learn while studying for his business degree.
