A Movie Review of Moliere

A Movie Review of "Moliere" In 2007, a wonderful surprise "Moliere", enchanted the romantics and critics all over Europe. An historical love story, surrounded by affairs and intrigues, now retold in new colours, gained popularity amongst young and elderly, connecting those who prefer theatre, good humour and a little bit of sadness. It can be said that the play of the actors was one of the most successful challenges performed in front of the camera. They lived in the seventeenth century, talking and feeling everything as naturally as if they had been born around that time. The humour mostly gentle, sometimes cruel, described and criticised perfectly every aspect of the complicated society, the naïve King and the women who had secret love affairs. It

pupils can sometimes give the tutor a hard time. Only the tough ones survive. I reckon it all comes down to the circumstance whether the teacher loves her job or does she do it just for the salary. If she only does it for money, the children will not take her seriously. She should also have a vast knowledge of her subject. Otherwise, it is really difficult for the attentive and eager pupils to get answers to their questions.Another important quality is humour. I believe that helps to make picking up knowledge much easier and more fun. Children always prefer teachers with a good sense of humour. However, tutors should be a litte strict otherwise the class will not behave. Furthermore, the relationship between a student and a tutor should be formal but friendly. That is why co-operation is very significant and necessary. Dealing with misbehaving and troubled children can often be gruelling. For me, theseare the qualities that matter the most

Chinatown review

Screenplay, Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Motion Picture, four Golden Globes and many more.2 Chinatown is a layered film, which takes place in Los Angeles in the 1930s. It narrates a story of a private detective J.J.Gittes, who investigates the murder of head of the city's water and power board Mulwray with help from his wife Evelyn Mulwray. From the beggining, the movie develops an interesting and enthralling plot, which is enriched with sarcastic humour and complex human relations. The plot is very unpredictable so when the final result appears, it is very unexpected and well-hidden.3 Each incident pulls the audience deeper into the story and makes them to think and wonder but when the conclusion reveals, everything is logical and simple. This shows the wonderful work of the director. The different leves are combined very smoothly but it doesn't get boring, because of it's enthrilling action scenes, rudeness and drama.4

Book opinion To Kill A Mockingbird

I read the book “To Kill A Mockingbird” written by Harper Lee, published in 1960. The books events take place in 1880’s Alabama. I really liked the book and I understand why it’s important for people- especially young people like high-schoolers to read this book. The book gives good insight on why we still have problems with racism around us and how much worse it was back in the 19th and 20th century. It has a good mixture of educational and historical topics and humour. Although many things are told the reader through metaphors, the meaning of the metaphor is often explained, as the book is told through a kid’s point of view. I would recommend this book to high schoolers, as it explains important topics that are still an issue to this day and it may be an eye- opening book to some people.

"To like and dislike the same things, that is indeed true friendship" Friendship is based on many things. You have to have trust, respect, humour and many other things with the person so he or she could become a good friend. But maybe one of the most important things is to have something in common. When I think about my best friends then I can really see how much we have in common. We very often think the same about life, things and people. We share very many viewpoints and agree on so many things. There is always something to talk about and fun never ends. It's sometimes great to have somebody who shares your ideas

I hope that You had a great time in Australia. I have never been in Australia, so I want to ask some question from you. I hope you don't mind and you will have a time to respond to the letter. It seems a very interesting instrument. Australins have a strong sense of humour and I have read that they will tell anti-English jokes to the English, anti-lawyer jokes to the lawyers and anti- mother-in-law jokes to mothers-in-law. Is is true? Did Australians laugh about you? They are very easy-going by nature. They put a high value on their leisure time. I hope that when I go to Australia, I will see kangaroos and koalas. pain. As the monster sees Beowulf as a terrible being himself and doesn't give him really any human qualities, he is definitely a flat character. Already on the first reading of Gardner's text it strikes out that he has exchanged the metaphors in "Beowulf" for similes, or at least most of them. E.g. "His hand still closed like a dragons jaw on mine" instead of "That the frame of his body failed him now...the outlaw dire took mortal hurt". It seems to me that humour is created with the adds in the brackets and I also find the exclamations by Grendel slightly amusing.

He satired of British aristocratic snobbery Dickens is famed for many things--his depiction of the hardships of the working class, his intricate plots, his sense of humour. But he is perhaps most famed for the characters he created. His novels were heralded early in his career for their ability to capture the everyday man on paper and thus create a memorable character to whom readers could relate, and envision as a real person. BLEAK HOUSE (1853) belongs to Dickens's greatest works of social criticism. The novel is built around a lawsuit, the classic case of Jarndyce, which affects all who come into contact with it.

The Catcher in the Rye - kokkuvõte

The Catcher in the Rye Despite being written in the beginning of the 1950s, for me “The Catcher in the Rye” is a novel that many youngsters to this day can relate to. The book tells the story of a troubled teenager Holden Caulfield, who sets off on a short trip to New York, after being expelled from yet another private school, to avoid facing his parents. His dark and at times depressive thoughts and emotions have been mixed with humour and brutal reality, making this book stirring to read. The novel is a fantastic example of the coming of age genre, thanks to its various themes of rebellion, emotional and mental growth and indifferent, “I couldn’t care less” attitude. The themes are apparent throughout the novel, giving the reader a clear view of what it’s like to be a teenager, who has no idea what to do with their life. The rebellious tone of the novel and its

When Leeloo escapes from lab she falls basically to the back seat of Korbens taxi. And then begins the whole point of this story. It's a competition between the good side, the bad side (a group of aliens) and then this one guy (Zorg) who appears to be on the bad side, but wants to get benefit to himself. Everyone wants to get the 4 rocks which decide the whole destiny of life. The movie was brightened up with a lot of humorous scenes and characters. There was this usual Bruce Willis type of humour, also this young Leeloo who firstly didn't know anything and acted like a baby and also there was this really annoying character- DJ Ruby Rhod. It was quite unusual to combine real serious plot (destroying life) to comedy so it wasn't an usual science fiction. Lots of times I have caught myself thinking that I'd already felt something like this before... Lots of moments in this book were really similar to some periods of my life and many relatives seemed very similar to characters of this book. "The Catcher in the Rye" certainly wouldn't be everyone's "cup of tea book", however I find it an exciting and captivating reading, with a variety of brutal reality poured in along with some humour, contrasting with moments of depression. For me it's quite difficult to rate this book. On the one hand, it is very strange and depressive. While reading it I was thinking and assuming myself being the heros of this book. All my thoughts were so sad and denudative. I was even thinking about what I am and what I am living for and is there any point for it. Serious influence, isn't it? On the other hand, this book gave me a lot. It has put me thinking about significant things, as well as J.D

His acting career began in 1983 when he got a small roll in the James Bond movie 'Never Say Never Again'. Since then, he has gained further recognition with movies like Four Weddings and a Funeral; Johnny English or Mr Bean's Holiday. My personal favourite is Mr Bean's Holiday because it's filled with humour and ridiculous coincidences. During his career, he's won different awards. For instance, he has been announced the Best Actor in the European Movie Awards in 2003 FAMILY Atkinson has been married to Sunetra Sastry since 1990. "no flies on him" means a person is not easily deceived. "she has a tongue that would clip a hedge" - means a person who gossips. So is with "Life, The Universe and Everything". Having said that, it's a classic story, that brings before more hilarious adventures. It has an easy understanding words and style isn't so hard. It was sure, that the author wrote it for younger people too, so they could understand. One perfect example is "Harry Potter" books, that fits to young and olders. The theme of the book is not not only science fiction and action. It is also both of them, but it's also comedy and absurd humour. Although they are not connected with the plot, it's a great entertainment. That makes it better than serious science fiction. The cover of the book is also rather funny. Page 7 Page 8 More about the novel I would like to suggest reading the novel to all, who does has a sense of humour and like comedy. The genere is set to science fiction also, but only the setting is set on the Universe, that makes it a science fictional novel.

we should look in the person's character deeper. I think that she has excellently achieved her purpose. The book is really well-written, the writing is effective and beautiful. She writes with great clarity and precision, and fills the dialogues with irony, making many characters reveal their foolishness to the reader through their ridiculous comments. Generally the characters are vivid and believable. The book is both humorous and deeply serious. Humour can be found everywhere in the book, in it's character descriptions, imagery, but mostly in it's conversations between characters. The strengths of the book are the descriptions of the personalities, dialogues and nature, which give a really good overview. The book also shows that while men and women often think too highly of themselves, deceive or flatter others, and act stupidly, they are also capable of love, kindness, and moral growth. Three generations of Joad's family are depicted in the book, Steinberg does not idealize them. They are illiterate, very suspicious, ignorat, quick tempered and crude- unsophistaicaded. However there are good qualities too, family comes first with them, there is wisdom, generosity, courage and persistance. Steinberg paints the portraits with ove and humour. The first generation we have Grandpa and Grandma. The founders of the family, they die at the end of the journey, their death is symbolical. Grandpa is lusty and indescent. And grandma is very religious and bios and sufferind all the time. Pa, Ma-father and mother, Pa is the official head of the family, has worked hard all his life to support his large family, but he hasn't been very succesful at it. anything what I am really interested in. I listen to the radio quite often desplite the music they are playing there, I can find a lot of information there because there are news every hour. I hate the big amount of adverts. I watch TV quite often some people say that it's tiring but I use it as relaxation. I lie and sometime I sleep. I love sitcoms but I hate soap operas because I find it very boring and about nothing, they are often same. I like good comedies with crazy or black humour and I can't stand romantic films and action films although I used to love them when I was smaller. I thing the internet is the best way of communication. there are most information there and you can also watch TV through Internet or listen to radio and you can read newspaper or magazines too. But as I said it's very expensive so I don't have it at home but I am going to have it when I am older, if people won't invent anything better. it has a big audience má hodn posluchac

Expect a bare minimum of small talk, if any, before getting into the business discussion. Send an agenda before the meeting as well as the biographies of your team. Meetings begin and end on time. Avoid hype, exaggerated claims, or bells and whistles in your presentation. Finns seldom ask questions. The presenter is expected to make his/her case with sufficient detail that their Finnish colleagues do not need to ask questions. There is no taboo on humour in the business environment. Dress Etiquette Business attire is stylish and conservative. Men should wear dark coloured, conservative business suits. Women should wear conservative business suits, trouser suits, or dresses. Socializing Finnish universities create organizations and associations for just about every subject and interest, i.e. French Club, Hockey Club. Each club has welcome parties, drinking parties, movie nights and dinners, making it

criminals people living in the West. In The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876), he paints a realistic picture of the life of two young boys growing up in the Mississippi area. The themes of childhood and nature recur in his masterpiece The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885). In both these works Mark Twain shows his deep distrust of `respectable' society and his sympathy for social outcasts and the common man. He uses humour to criticise the practice of slavery and the hypocrisy and prejudices of his times. In his characterisations he displays a penetrating insight into human psychology. Mark Twain's use of language is also strikingly original. The stories of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are told from the point of view of the young protagonists and contain slang, regional dialect and illogical sentence constructions that make the dialogue come to life

Now you know what to expect from me. Henry Tilney My name is Henry Tilney. I am actually not sure what to tell you about myself, because I am just an ordinary man and I think of myself as a rather boring person. I definitely do not want to sound self-centered, but I must say that I am always rather gentle and caring. I pay attention to others' feelings and never want to hurt anybody. I often display a humorous arrogance and ironic humour towards women. I especially like to do that to Catherine because she is just so naïve. Do not get me wrong, I love and respect women very much, but sometimes I just cannot hold back a good joke. I usually say the opposite of what I mean, in order to seem funny. Isn't that rather clever? I have to admit that I am a perceptive person because I understand people quite well. I have read many books and I work as a clergyman, I think that this explains why am I good at understanding people.

This holiday originated in France. An April fool's joke can only be played between midnight and noon; otherwise the prankster himself is the April fool. Typical pranks are putting salt in the sugar bowl, saying to friend ,,oh my. You have four big holes in your coat... buttonholes, setting the clocks back an hour and so on. In Great Britain and the United States today, April fool's jokes are played mostly by children, who enjoy the holiday immensely. On this day of national good humour, the television service joins in the fun. One famous commentator introduced a documentary about spaghetti. In these film Italian farm workers picking long strands of spaghetti off trees. Many people were fooled. 9) THE GREATEST POET OF SCOTLAND Robert burns is loved and admired by all Scotsmen as their greatest poet. He was born on January 25, 1759 in a clay-built cottage.
