the issues and makes me appreciate what I have. The issues raised in the book were taken from life and most of them are part of travellers life, however the author went over the top and by that made situations worse than they could have been in real life. As example the main character Liz runs into her 2 nd grade friend and it makes her journey longer and it tears her apart from her friend Dave witch who they planned the journey together. Due to Liz departure Dave finds himself in the middle of India with nothing more than his backpack. It makes the storyline superior which is always better than following the easily predictable plot. “Are you experienced ” is not the best nor the worst read. It’s described as very funny but I think it’s more drama, than comedy. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in travel books and fiction.

As a rookie, Bryant earned himself a reputation as a high-flyer and a fan favorite by winning the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest. Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal led the Lakers to three consecutive NBA championships from2000 to 2002. A heated feud between the duo and a loss in the 2004 NBA Finals led to O'Neal's departure following the 200304 season. In 2003, Bryant was accused of sexual assault after having sex with a hotel employee in Edwards, Colorado. In September 2004, prosecutors dropped the case after his accuser refused to testify, and Bryant had to rebuild his image while becoming the cornerstone of the Lakers. He led the NBA in scoring during the 200506 and 200607 seasons, setting numerous scoring records in the process. In 2006, Bryant scored a career-high 81 points against

Soon, at an agricultural fair, a wealthy neighbor named Rodolphe, who is attracted by Emma's beauty, declares his love to her. He seduces her, and they begin having a passionate affair. Emma is often indiscreet, and the townspeople all gossip about her. Charles, however, suspects nothing. His adoration for his wife and his stupidity combine to blind him to her indiscretions. When she waked up, Mrs. Reed decided to send Jane to the Lowood School, Jane was also happy to leave. When Jane arrived to the school she found out that her life was better in her aunt house than in that school. Brocklehurst, a cruel, hypocritical, and abusive man. Brocklehurst preaches a doctrine of poverty and privation to his students while using the school’s funds to provide a wealthy and opulent lifestyle for his own family. At Lowood, Jane befriends a young girl named Helen Burns, whose strong, martyrlike attitude toward the school’s miseries is both helpful and displeasing to Jane. A massive typhus epidemic sweeps Lowood, and Helen dies of consumption. The epidemic also results in the departure of Mr. Brocklehurst by attracting attention to the insalubrious conditions at Lowood. After a group of more sympathetic gentlemen takes Brocklehurst’s place, Jane’s life improves dramatically. She spends eight more years at Lowood, six as a student and two as a teacher. Opened in 1898, this 5-star hotel has long been the home of the super-rich and super- famous from abroad when they visit Paris, includingErnest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, andElton John, plus Coco Chanel who lived there. It has 159 rooms, many of which are huge suites, and a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. In 1979 Mohamed Al-Fayed bought it, and spent a fortune renovating it into the luxury retreat it is today. The Hôtel Ritz is probably most famous these days for being the departure point for the fatal ride for Princess Diana, Dodi Al-Fayed, their inebriated driver Henri Paul, who was the hotel's head of security. It's still one of Paris's finest hotels, though Mohamed Al-Fayed is said to be trying to sell it. Scotland during the Roman Empire encompasses a period of time that is both part of genuine history and of protohistory. It is complicated by the fact that although the Roman Empire influenced every part of Scotland during the period from the arrival of the legions in c. adopt Elizabeth Lavenza, an orphan whose mother has just died (she is Victor's biological cousin in the first edition, but an adopted child with no blood relation in the 1831 edition). Victor has a possessive infatuation with Elizabeth. He has two younger brothers: Ernest and William. As a young boy, Victor is obsessed with studying outdated theories of science that focus on achieving natural wonders. He plans to attend the University of Ingolstadt in Germany. Weeks before his planned departure, his mother dies of scarlet fever. At university, he excels at chemistry and other sciences, and develops a secret technique to imbue inanimate bodies with life. The details of the monster's construction are left ambiguous, but Frankenstein finds himself forced to make the creature roughly eight feet tall because of the difficulty in replicating the minute parts of the human body. His creation, which he has hoped would be beautiful, is instead hideous, with dull yellow

Six months after Fanny installs herself as mistress at Norland, Mrs. Dashwood receives a letter from her cousin Sir John Middleton, inviting her and her daughters to reside at Barton Cottage on his property in Devonshire. Eager to distance herself from Fanny's rudeness and insensitivity, Mrs. Dashwood immediately accepts the invitation and sends three servants ahead to Barton to prepare the house for their arrival. She informs John and Fanny of their imminent departure and encourages Edward Ferrars to come visit them at Barton. Following Marianne's tearful goodbye to their home at Norland, the family sets out for Barton Cottage. Commentary The opening pages of Sense and Sensibility are concerned with the laws of inheritance and succession that govern the fate of the Dashwood family property. He also stated discontent with MTV and the censors, who, from the start of season two, increasingly gave notes regarding what the show could and could not depict. When the third season ended in 2002, MTV (who owns the rights to the name "Jackass") contemplated keeping the show going with a new cast (even running a teaser for the show's return during the 2002 VMA Awards Show). Because of problems with MTV's standards and practices department as well as the sudden departure of Margera and the CKY Crew halfway through season three, the Jackass crew did not attempt to create a finale to bring the show to a close. MTV released a DVD boxed set in December 2005. It included the three Jackass DVD volumes (which were not composed of all three entire seasons, but highlights of each season), a bonus disc that included the crew's trip to Gumball 3000, a "Where Are They Now" documentary, MTV Cribs Jackass Edition, TV spots, and a 48-page book of photos and inside stories.
north/northwesterly direction until he arrived at the junction of the Colorado River and Gila River. There the local natives, probably the CocoMaricopa (see Seymour 2007b), told him that Alarcón's sailors had buried supplies and left a note in a bottle. The supplies were retrieved and the note stated that Alarcón's men had rowed up the river as far as they could, searching in vain for the Coronado expedition. They had given up and decided to return to their departure point because worms were eating holes in their ships. Díaz named the river the "firebrand" river because the natives used fire brands to keep their body warm in the winter. Díaz died on the trip back to the camp in the valley of the Corazones. Don Garcia Lopez de Cardenas saw the Colorado River from the rim of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon while looking for a route that would connect them with Alarcón's fleet. (http://corpus.byu.edu/coha/) department store – The term was first brought to use in the 19th century. In 1877, George and Edward Butler founded a small wholesale mail-order company in Boston, which later became known as the Butler Bros. Their innovation of the “Five Cent Counter” started the epidemic of department stores all over the country. From the French department, which meant “group of people” and “departure”, English has borrowed the sense of “separate division”. Meanwhile, store originally meant “supplies or provisions for a household, camp, etc” and was related to warfare. The word as “a place where goods are kept for sale” was first recorded in 1721 in American English. Eskimo pie - Eskimo Pie was America's first chocolate covered ice cream bar and it was invented by Christian Kent Nelson in his home laboratory in 1920. Nelson got his inspiration for the
It wouldn't be surprising if it were hard to reproduce in other countries, because you couldn't reproduce it in most of the US either. What does it take to make a silicon valley even here? What it takes is the right people. If you could get the right ten thousand people to move from Silicon Valley to Buffalo, Buffalo would become Silicon Valley. That's a striking departure from the past. Up till a couple decades ago, geography was destiny for cities. All great cities were located on waterways, because cities made money by trade, and water was the only economical way to ship. Now you could make a great city anywhere, if you could get the right people to move there. So the question of how to make a silicon valley becomes: who are the right people, and how do you get them to move?
