Deloitte is the  brand  under which tens of thousands of 
dedicated professionals in independent  firms  throughout 
the world col aborate to  provide   audit , consulting, financial 
advisory, risk  management , and tax  services  to selected 
clients. These firms are  members  of Deloitte  Touche  
Tohmatsu Limited, each  member   firm  provides services in 
particular  geographic area and is  subject  to the  laws  and 
professional regulations of the particular  country  in which it 
operates.
Deloitte with  approximately  193,000 people worldwide, is 
one of the Big  Four  professional services firms  along  with 
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, and KPMG. 
Deloitte history
 In 1845 Wil iam Welch Deloitte opened his own 
accountancy office  in London.
 In 1849 Deloitte becomes the  first  person ever appointed 
as an independent auditor.
  During  the 1850s and 1860s, he develops the system for 
keeping  railway and  hotel  accounts, subsequently 
adopted as the industry standard, that protected 
investors from mismanagement of funds. 
 In 1880 First overseas Deloitte office opens in New  York
 In 2002 Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's global  revenues
