December 23, 1918 was the coordinator and soul of these efforts. By January 5, 1919 14,000 additional men had been mobilized. Estonian forces could now set to counterattack and on the first birthday of the Estonian Republic (February 24, 1919) General Laidoner could report to the Parliament that the enemy had successfully been driven out of Estonian territory. Though the Red Army was continuously supplemented it could not stop the Estonian armed forces. On counterattack the Estonian army took 6,000 prisoners of war and more than 40 cannons. The successful offensive also greatly helped Estonia's neighbors Latvia and Lithuania. On May 12, 1919 the Estonian army went on a decisive offensive and conquered Pskov on May 25. The ostentatious attack of the Red Army towards the West had failed and Soviet Russia was forced into defensive warfare. Estonia was not alone in the War of Independence. Great Britain was the first to answer
There are advantages as well as disadvantages of getting international aid. International aid could help in improving the country's position in the world. International aid can contribute to fighting global poverty, hunger and help get access to medical care. It can also provide to solve problems like terrorism, rehabilitation and many other problems. However, receiving countries could misuse international aid. Money could use to fund illegal activities and the strengthening of armed forces. International aid should be used very wisely and judiciously, only then can we eliminate poverty and hunger and other problems in the world. Students tend to drop out because their expectations of college--academically, socially, or both--don't match up with the reality once they get there. They also suffer from lack of motivation, inadequate preparation, and poor study skills. Students who are well prepared for college coursework are more likely to stay in school
of the war, since unemployed men were often prioritised by employers. But when men went to war, then women took over their jobs. The war also caused a split in the British suffragette movement, calling a 'ceasefire' in their campaign for the duration of the war. In contrast, more radical suffragettes, like the Women's Suffrage Federation, continued their (at times violent) struggle. Women were also allowed to join the armed forces in a non-combatant role and by the end of the War 80,000 women had joined the armed forces in auxiliary roles such as nursing and cooking. Great Britain was victorious in the war, but suffered heavy losses: Britain had the greatest empire in the world before the war broke out. As a result of the war, the world's financial centre shifted from England to the United States, from London to New York. Also, countries started wanting independence from the British

Some people are into dancing, but some people are into war games and military things. For those, who like the last ones, there is a special organisation, that raises love to our home country in young people. Estonian Defence League even protects our country in case of a war or emergency. It has and always will be free and open to all of those, who are even a little bit interested in it. The Estonian Defence League was preceded in 1918 by Estonia's first armed home defence organisation: The Citizens' Defence Organisation (Omakaitse) against the public disorder accompanying the Russian Revolution. On 11 November in 1918 the Citizens' Defence Organisation was renamed the Estonian Defence League which performed the tasks of a national guard in the War of Independence. In October of 1925 was founded the Estonian Defence League magazine "Defend Your Home!" (''Defend your home''). To

Most traditional lunch restaurants serve pea soup and pancakes with lingonberry sauce or any kind of jam (sylt) on Thursdays. Crazy for crawfish
