What if there isn't enough work to go round? What if the employers decide to introduce new working practices? And what happens if the two sides can't agree? What would happen then if state benefits were cut completely? If this also makes Britain more attractive for overseas visitors, so well and good. School and studying isn’t very hard but sometimes it’s abnormal how much teacher give you a homework. The school
The business-stealing externality: · Because other firms lose customers and profits from the entry of a new competitor, entry of a new firm imposes a negative externality on existing firms. Advertising When firms sell differentiated products and charge prices above marginal cost, each firm has an incentive to advertise in order to attract more buyers to its particular product. · Critics of advertising argue that firms advertise in order to manipulate people's tastes. They also argue that it impedes competition by implying that products are more different than they truly are. · Defenders argue that advertising provides information to consumers They also argue that advertising increases competition by offering a greater variety of products and prices. · The willingness of a firm to spend advertising dollars can be a signal to consumers about the quality of the product being offered

the school has been moved to another building, which doubles the distance between my home and school. I like that Võru is such a small and quiet town, which makes it nice and secure to live in. Do you get any pocket money? I don't get any certain amount of pocket money. When I need to buy something or just want money, I ask my parents. Of course, I have money that I have earned myself, or I have received for my birthdays, I use that for buying electronics or more expensive things. What do you argue about with your parents most? Sometimes I argue with them, usually it is related to my laziness not wanting to put dishes to the dishwasher, or not wanting to go to bed. How is school life for you? I like school because there I can communicate and talk to my friends. Studying and tests have never been a difficulty for me, but this year physics and math are getting hard. I don't like math, never have. What are the biggest pressures for teens in you city?
impact and if it does, the impact is insignificant and can be easily defended. File sharers rationalize their actions based on the argument that they "would not have purchased the content anyway." In addition, it is argued that freely obtaining a digital copy of something does not have any impact because a tangible, physical item is not being stolen. Thus, it is a seemingly victimless crime. Last, file sharers argue that the content that they are freely stealing is not worth the price. Perhaps they consider a certain piece of software, for example, to be poorly written. Supporters profess that software companies should be penalized for distributing low quality software with what they consider high price tags. Another closely related line of reasoning is the idea that they are merely "testing" the product before they purchase it; in essence, they are exercising their own "try before you buy" policy.
industry, particularly the rock music segment, experienced an explosion in sales that has continued to this day. In subsequent years, unmarried couples no longer felt persecuted for living together. Frankness regarding sexual matters was common. Religious and cultural diversity gained greater acceptance. Even fashion was impacted as the popularity of the necktie and other business apparel declined and was replaced by more casual dress standards. Some changes were not as positive though. Some argue that the movement ushered in more liberal press and movies which has led to a degradation of our cultural values and ethics. Youth fashions became more and more bizarre , and sexual, in an attempt to rebel against the mainstream values. Some argue that the embrace of spontaneity and worship of the “primitive” have turned us towards mindlessness and violence. Hippies in 1960’s used different drugs etc to expand their counsciousness; today’s (not

Aaaa, for example, I want to watch the Matrix, beautiful film, but my woman could decide to rewatch all seasons of American Idol. After such situations we usually begin to argue and fight. She doesn’t even want to listen to me! Dr. McLovin : Hmmm. Now I can predict primary treatment. U need to try to find compromises. So balance will appear in your life.
we need to understand one another. What is more, we do not need to be so similar. Speaking some other language makes us more intriguing. Foreign languages are like crayons, all in different colours. Imagine if all the crayons would be in the same colour. If we paint a picture, we need a variety of colours to make the picture interesting. That is why we need to learn not only English, but many others languages too. Of course, there are people who argue that studying English is the only foreign language worth learning. Because it would unite us and make the communicating easier. But things do not have to be easy in life. All in all, I think learning other foreign languages, in addition to English, is important and necessary.
These drugs are often called "illegal drugs" but generally what is illegal is their unlicensed production, distribution, and possession. These drugs are also called "controlled substances". Even for simple possession, legal punishment can be quite severe. Laws vary across countries, and even within them, and have fluctuated widely throughout history. Despite drug legislation large, organized criminal drug cartels operate world-wide. Advocates of decriminalization argue that drug prohibition makes drug dealing a lucrative business, leading to much of the associated criminal activity.
The way I see it, is that peole themselves cause the greatest harm to society, not cars. Cars are not all dangerous if they're driven with care and attention. Another major reason is that cars give us more personal freedom. We can decide where and when we want to travel without having to rely on anyone else. Furthermore, cars are very small and comfortable, that we can easily drive close to different buildings. People argue that cities would be less polluted if cars were banned. They are on opinion that our health is at risk as well as the envinronment and they suggest to use public transport instead of using cars. In conclusinon, in my view, cars are great in many ways and they should certainly not be banned. They have become very necessary for people, who are able to drive their cars with care and attention and who appreciate comfort.
Should parents be obliged to immunize their children against childhood diseases? Or do individuals have the right to choose not to immunize their children? Some people argue that the state has the right to make parents immunize their children. It seems to me that immunisation is necessary because it stops spreading diseases all over the world. Preventive medicine is a very useful way to eradicate illnesses because by applying it we do not need to cure diseases or treat their symptoms, we just prevent them. Every year thousand of children’s lives are saved thanks to timely vaccination.
developing. First of all, there aren’t too many people who do sports, i’d say too less. Most people I know enjoy staying indoors. I think everyone should take part in sports in order to have healthy body and a healthy mind. Secondly, playing computer games is rather good than bad. Games help people relax and they can teach us a lot about history or geography as well. Opponents say that people are wasting time on games and sports. Firstly, they argue that sports can be injurious. For example, you broke your leg while playing football. They also say that computer games are addictive and make people aggressive. However, in my opinion, sports and games is very good way to spend your free time. In conclusion, games and sports are not as bad and dangerous as some people say, it is all about the person’s setup and mentality. Although they can be addictive, I believe they are rather good than bad because they help us relax and spend our free
McGregor, Chris Cooper, Abigail Breslin. Beverly Weston hires Johnna as a housekeeper, she is young beautiful American woman. Beverly’s wife Violet is strong-willed and addiction to narcotics. Then arrives Barbara with her husband and their fourteen-year- old daughter, Jean, Ivy and Violet’s sister Mattie with her husband. Family finds Beverly dead in the bedroom, he kills himself. After few days takes place funeral and dinner. In the dining room, they argue about their family issues. My favourite scene is that when Ivy tell her mother about her love for Little Charles. Violet says that Litlle Charles is Beverly’s son and she has known that by years. And then Barbara gets nervous and attacks her mum. I recommend that film for everyone because everyone have a family and when you see that film, then maybe you realized, that your family is quite good and not the worstest. In every family have some problems and you have to get over the problems.
Pros and Cons of the Capital Punishment. The death penalty is a controversial issue in most countries, but it is completely abolished in our country. Arguments for and against it are based on moral, practical, religious and emotional groups. On the one hand, there are advocates of the death penalty, who argue that it deters crime, improves community by making them sure, that convicted criminals would never find their way out onto the streets to offend again and it is cheaper than keeping convicted criminals in high security prison for the rest of their natural lives. On the other hand, there are opponents of the death penalty claim that `capital punishment cheapens human's life and government on the same low moral level as criminals who have taken life.` personally, I strongly support this idea
We wrote down our opinion on the 6th of september 2012 in our english class. We had 12 students who gave an opinion about the Estonian educational system. Corporal punishment is illegal in British and Estonian schools. 62% of British childrens think that it would be needful but only 31% Estonian childrens have the same opinion. Actually it could be not banned, because if they used controlled corporal punishment it is not likely to be harmful. I would argue that there were actually fewer discipline problems back in the old days when corporal punishment was more common. Most school in England require children to wear school uniform. Estonian children no longer wear uniforms but few decades ago they wore uniforms. 74% British students and 39% Estonian students believes that school uniforms should be compulsory for all students at all grade levels. I don`t think they should wear school uniforms because it deprises kinds and teens of expressing
child that junk food. That's bad example for future grown- ups. And people think why they can't cook or they gain weight. In their food there is much trans fats. All noodles and other fast food you can find there is about 12% of fat. And people know that. But no it tastes good so it's okey. And after a while they have eaten it. in the end they don't know where it went wrong because fast food makes people addicted to their food and people will buy it. I wont argue that food isn't taste. It is but it's bad and people just tont knowledge that to themselvs and thats why many people in world is addicted to it.
argument, because in a couple who wants to get married they should love each other, without love in my opion there is no sense to marry. A wedding is something that happend with every person in our world. People need to understand this and take it as seriously as possible. I understand that there are many religions and cultures, but the points should be the same. In conclusion want to say, that everyone makes his choice. Anyway i welcome the choice of each person and with this impossible to argue. Some people say that everyone should use public transport instead of cars. Do you agree? The topic im going to speak about public transport. There is an opinion that some people say that everyone should use public transport instead of cars. I don’t agree with that argument, because riding on public transport is not always comfortable and convenient. Firstly I would like to say that you have to adjust the time and you cant go where you need at any time. For

He has a short beard and is quite skinny and scruffy looking. Some people have even said that he looks effeminate and homeless. His style is quite hard to describe. Sometimes the man looks very decent and formal wearing suits, ties and even a top hat. On other times he dresses up completely crazily. For example he has been spotted wearing a pirate costume, pajamas, bloody t-shirt, cowboy hat, underwear and even womens dresses. Some would say he is completely insane, but other argue that he is just so brilliant he acts crazy. This man is Russell Brand
themselves which in my opinion leads to competing. For example, human behaviour in functionalism is shown as being shaped by the social system but in spite of most people being socialised into traditional gender norms, people develop other identities and keep up the levels of criminality, even though they are taught to obey the law. All in all, both theories have their ups and downs and I believe people could argue about which is right forever. As well as people are different, they also develop different views of society and it is hard to prove some theory completely right.

distracted as she goes from guest to guest to guest with Edward glued to her side. When he did leave her side, it left Bella suspicious. Bella follows him to find that Alice has seen something and no one is telling Bella about it. At the same time, Jacob and a few others from La Push have arrived, much to Alice and Edward displeasure. Surprised that Jacob would come after she hit him, Bella asks him why he came. He says that he has a gift for her one that he didn't get at the store. They argue a moment, but Bella takes the gift. It's a silver bracelet with a tiny wooden wolf charm made by Jacob. Bella thanks him for the gift and lets Jacob put it on her wrist. Jacob asks why she is distracted and tries to get her to explain what's going on. He pulls Embry and Quill over to hear the details just as Alice steps in. A fight nearly breaks out when Jacob blocks Alice from moving and Jasper immediately comes to her side, but Bella stops them
In this movie is clearly set out that children in schools want to deal with different things. They want to be connected with their friend, but at the same time they have to listen what teacher is telling in front of the class. The results in education has fallen and that’s because students aren’t well prepared. Technology is updating very quickly and all we can do is learn how to use it. I think that if it came in our lives, then it’s important too. We can argue about different things that it has taken from us, for example we aren’t sending letters anymore, maybe we don’t show up our feelings as they are, we don’t meet people in real life, we are just texting to them. But actually it is each person choice how deep they let the technology in their lives. There are so many games, where people can meet each other and discuss important work things, they save money from flights, but they aren’t meet in real life. A big conferences
He also had a scheme for diverting the flow of the Arno River in order to flood Pisa. Within Leonardo's own lifetime his fame was such that the King of France carried him away like a trophy, and was claimed to have supported him in his old age and held him in his arms as he died. The interest in Leonardo's genius has continued unabated; experts study and translate his writings, analyse his paintings using scientific techniques, argue over attributions and search for works which have been recorded but never found.
new and interesting just because we're humans. We like to feel big and important, it's just our nature and we can't help it. For example, many people believe in God. They believe God is always watching over them, so they have to behave, because noone wants to be on the bad side in the eyes of God. And ofcourse everyone wants to go to heaven, so you can't really get on God's nerves, or he'll just send you to hell. The way I see it, God makes all the rules and you can't really argue with him, because he's God. He can do what he wants, that's just the way it is. In my opinion humans want to feel as powerful as God. It makes us feel better about ourselves, if we can make our own rules from time to time. Let's say, that a musician is writing a song. He makes something out of nothing and he can't help it, he loves the idea of being almighty. Because let's face it, to that song, the writer is God. It is completely up to to the writer to say what's wrong and what's right

actions on the will of the Gods. Through the characters of Antigone and Creon, Sophocles is able to express his ideas about the balance between the artificial man- made world in comparison to the natural laws and traditions. The conflict between man and nature presented in Antigone has deepened my understanding of the customs and traditions of the ancient Greek era and influenced my perception of our current world. The conflict is still relevant today, when we argue about the issues of abortion and gay rights, which are both religiously frowned upon, and try to find the balance between beliefs and traditions from the past, while accustoming them to our world today. There are several theories and explanations for why social order persists and emerges. Hechter and Horne in the reader Theories of Social Order present several widely-acknowledged explanations for social order. In this essay, the explanations regarding a shared meaning, norms and values and power and authority are explained. Furthermore, the extents to which these explanations can be convincing are assessed. Meaning Hechter and Horne argue, that "shared concepts and beliefs are a perquisite for successful communication" (Hechter and Horne, 2003:44), thus bringing together the ideas of many sociologists in explaining the importance of meaning when explaining social order. Meaning, which can be defined as a sum of common concepts and beliefs that enable cooperation, has been defined yet so differently by various sociologists. Emile Durkheim (Durkheim, 1912)

I'm talking about national institutions, centres of culture which represent the best of Britain's historical and artistic treasures. That isn't the point. I'm talking about soft drinks, and few Spanish bars will serve you with "horchata", their own traditional soft drink. I'm talking about desktop PCs Are you saying that foreign-based multi-nationals decide who is going to be British Prime Minister. Well you might as well argue that the government should subsidize all shops. I'm saying that it's the British tax-payer who pays the bill. What I'm saying is that we are too interdependent. Perhaps our populations are too big. That's why I'm advocating self-sufficiency as a goal. What I'm saying is that older people have been there before. They've had the problems and found the solutions. What are you trying to say? To come to the point, there are so many different motives for marriage that it's

increase in population would stimulate technologists to increase food production. It followed that a rise in population will increase demand for food and therefore act as an incentive to modify technology to produce more food. In other words, “Necessity is the mother of invention” . As population increases agriculture moves into higher stages of intensity with new methods. An OPTIMISTIC approach Followers of Boserup argue that food production is much more optimistic than that of a Malthusian, as she claims that food supplies will stay ahead of population growth. Innovations such as the ‘Green Revolution’ introduced HYVs to LEDCs who witnessed increased yields from these processes allowing more people to be fed. Limitations of Boserups theory Based on closed communities, which apart from the globe, is not the case as migration occurs.
There were a bank manager, who was waiting for his coffee, Philip Scott, a waiter Francois Rimbaud and Mavis Biggles, who is a waitress in that cafe. They told me that first some crates on the top fell down and then truck driver hit brakes and made an accident. Philip Scott added that chickens might be diseased and that people could catch the infection, but Mavis Biggles did not agree with that idea, because truck driver was on the way to market to sell all his birds. I left these two there to argue and found another witness Lee Post, a letter carrier, was really in shock and he told me only impolite words about truck driver, so as I understood, he thought also that it was truck drivers fault. I needed to find someone who could comment what happened and then I found perfect eyewitnesses, a couple on vacation, Tyrone and Shaniqua Silver who told me that they saw everything - truck driver were driving too fast and as load wasn't secured properly, crates on top fell
"" (p. 403) We see here how bad the Count really does feel and that we're all human in the end and you can't hurt people forever until you start to feel bad. The Count of Monte Cristo is a great story that helps you to realize how far the reaches of vengeance can really go. When the Count is going around ruining people it seems like he is more of a machine than a person. It seems like he has no emotions and can't forgive the people who hurt him. Although some people might argue that the people who wronged the Count truly had what was coming to them, some of the Count's actions could be seen as unnecessary. In the end everyone will be punished or rewarded by God and you shouldn't be worried about what other people do or say as much as you are worried about yourself.
Schools kill creativity Kristiina Moosel N-14 Ken Robinson had a greate speech in TedX 2006. He was discussing about creativity and how we help ourselves and others to develope it. Mostly I agreed with him but still there were some points, where I could argue with him. Ken Robinson says noone knows how’ll the future be like. The future where our kid’s are going to have to live in. Still our education system wants us to prepare them for that. Prepare them for the mystery, for something we have no idea about how it’s going to be. If I had no younger relatives, I’d have to dissagree with him - I mean, when I was in secondary school I had to study mostly only those subjects I’d really need in the future. But I have some
successful in Cape Town but not elsewhere authoritarian features. Patronage, special deals, etc. probably reflecting distinctive political issues No real territorial parties. Co-opted groups were functional (labour, there/distinct political trajectory peasants, etc), not regional or territorial. Regional social movements Eg map on next page which Sara showed in emerged to argue for rights or interests. Zapatistas land, justice in lecture shows swing towards/away from ANC south. Human rights groups around disappearances, murders in north. Only area that went towards ANC was kwaZulu Migration and organised crime (drugs, etc) have given north a set of natal influence of Zuma as presidential interests distinct from the south. But the response has been federal:
and Ali were the products. They could pull crowds and make vast sums of money. Well, maybe they do, but they've got to learn to live together. I'm against all forms of segregation. You may be right about sport and politics, but it can work both ways. 7.4 Countering using "well" both to cast doubt and for antithesis Think of all the money that's spent in the souvenir shops of these galleries and museums. Well you might as well argue that the government should subsidize all shops. But under the patients' charter, hospitals are meant to treat you within a certain time. Well, you know how they get round that one. They make you wait for months before they put you on the waiting list. Nobody has to suffer. Everybody is free to choose between right and wrong. Well, that depends on whether we really have free will. 7.5 Countering using "after all" "at least" "even so" both for concession
to discover their true interests. Im sure that many young high school graduates who start study in university are at first not very passionate about their speciality because they dont know what to expect and if their choice is right. There is no quarantee and this is where university comes in play – objective is not only to educate students about their chosen subject but to expand one’s horizon and to develop logical thinking. One could argue that there are too many graduates in some specialities but there can’t never be too much critically thinking people. Thats exactly what I have learned so far in university – I feel I am smarter citizen now and belong to a society which I comprehend better than after high school. It all comes down to this: university are one huge step in young people life and it should not focus so much only on producing experts on various professions but rather helping students to find their way and
