August: Osage County review
August: Osage County is a 2013 American drama film written by Tracy Letts and based on his Pulitzer Prize– winning play of the same name, and directed by John Wells . It is produced by George Clooney, Jean Doumanian, Grant Heslov, Steve Traxler, and Bob and Harvey Weinstein. The film stars an ensemble cast consisting of Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts , Ewan McGregor , Chris Cooper , Abigail Breslin.
Beverly Weston hires Johnna as a housekeeper, she is young beautiful American woman. Beverly’s wife Violet is strong -willed and addiction to narcotics. Then arrives Barbara with her husband and their fourteen- year -old daughter , Jean, Ivy and Violet’s sister Mattie with her husband. Family finds Beverly dead in the bedroom, he kills himself . After few days takes place funeral and dinner . In the dining room, they argue about their family issues.
My favourite scene is that when Ivy tell her mother about her love for Little Charles. Violet says that Litlle Charles is Beverly’s son and she has known that by years . And then Barbara gets nervous and attacks her mum.
I recommend that film for everyone because everyone have a family and when you see that film, then maybe you realized, that your family is quite good and not the worstest. In every family have some problems and you have to get over the problems.
