How do you spend your free time?
I’m pretty busy. Every day, I have music school, choir , or basketball training.
I have been going to music school for seven years , and I’m going to graduate this spring . I have been going to basketball training for two years. I unfortunately can’t go there very often because of music studies. When I’m home, I usually spend my free time on the computer or playing the guitar.
What do you like / dislike about living in Võru?
I can’t tell anything which I particularly do not like. This year I don’t like that the school has been moved to another building , which doubles the distance between my home and school. I like that Võru is such a small and quiet town, which makes it nice and secure to live in.
Do you get any pocket money ?
I don’t get any certain amount of pocket money. When I need to buy something or just want money, I ask my parents . Of course , I have money that I have earned myself, or I have received for my birthdays, I use that for buying electronics or more expensive things.
What do you argue about with your parents most?
Sometimes I argue with them , usually it is related to my laziness not wanting to put dishes to the dishwasher, or not wanting to go to bed.
How is school life for you?
I like school because there I can communicate and talk to my friends . Studying and tests have never been a difficulty for me, but this year physics and math are getting hard . I don’t like math, never have.
What are the biggest pressures for teens in you city?
Võru doesn’t have pressure for teens because it is a small and a peaceful city, at least I can’t feel any.
Is there a difference in Estonia between the north and the south ?
No, there isn’t a big difference, but when I went there and talked to some of my friends living in Tallinn, then I noticed that they don’t recognize some of the words we use every day in Võru.
Have you visited any other countries?
Yes, I have visited many different countries. When I was little , our family traveled a lot. We lived in the USA for one year but unfortunately, I can’t remember too much. We visited America another time too, when I was in the second grade. That was very cool and we visited many places . I have also been to Paris , with my choir. We went the Eiffel tower too. A few years ago, our friends who live in Norway, invited us to visit them. We agreed and went there in winter and spent Christmas and New Year there. That was one amazing vacation to remember too. When I was very young, my parents took me to Sweden many times , but I can’t remember that at all.
Lately we haven’t taken a trip to a foreign country , but I am looking forward to our field trip to London in October.
What is your ambition for the future?
I haven’t thought of that too much. Right now I’m not sure yet, but it could be related to music and technology - the two things I love the most.

British Cuisine Some people criticize English food. They say it's unimaginable, boring, tasteless, it's chips with everything and totally overcooked vegetables. The basic ingredients, when fresh, are so full of flavour that British haven't had to invent sauces to disguise their natural taste. What can compare with fresh pees or new potatoes just boiled and served with butter? Why drown spring lamb in wine or cream and spices, when with just one or two herbs it is absolutely delicious? If you ask foreigners to name some typically English dishes, they will probably say "Fish and chips" then stop. It is disappointing, but true that, there is no tradition in England of eating in restaurants, because the food doesn't lend itself to such preparation. English cooking is found at home. So it is difficult to a good English restaurant with a reasonable prices. In most cities in Britain you'll find Indian, Chinese, French and Italian restaurants. In London you'll also find Indonesian,

About myself

About Myself From the very start I should say that it is not an easy thing to speak about myself as it is hard to have a look at yourself from aside, but at the same time who knows you better than you yourself do? I am a girl of sixteen. When I look at myself in the mirror I see a blond girl with short straight hair, dark eyes and slander figure. As to my appearance I'm rather tall and slim. I have never thought I'm a beauty I whish I were more beautiful. I think that I'm even tempered, rather reserved, calm and modest. But sometimes I can lose my tempo and become either angry or sad. I like staying alone and sometimes I retire into my shell. But at the same time I like my friends, I like to laugh and joke. I have got a sense of humour. It means I understand humour and appreciate it. There are many things in our life I like and some I dislike. I like when everything is OK. Being happy is one way of being wise. I like to study because knowledge is us
