that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. For example, children aged 13 may be employed part time in Great Britain. Age 15 is legally a "young person" not a "child". Age 16 is a school leaving age. They can leave home, drive a moped, marry with "parents' consent" buy beer. Age 17 can drive a car. Age 18 can vote, get married, drink in pubs. Education is a very important part in the life of British youth. One can't become an independent person without it. When time comes to enter a college a young Englishman chooses one far away from home. It is a necessary part of becoming adult. During the last 30 years there were a lot of different trends in youth movements. All of them were characterized by their own philosophy, way of life, style of dressing. Each tendency was born by the influence of economic and political changes in the society.

Pay-for performance: necessary or unsuitable way to increase efficiency in the public sector

! Tallinn 2015 ! ! ! ! ! Pay-for performance: necessary or unsuitable way to increase efficiency in the public sector Through history civil service has meant and cited many different forms of serving a country. Raadschelders and Rutgers (1996) have brought out five phases in their article “Evolution of Civil Service systems” that describes how civil service has evolved and become one of the most important part of governing. In different times civil service has supported monarchs, kings, presidents and governments in their work reigning, ruling and leading people. Role of civil service has increased by every age- becoming more and more wider in tasks, obligations and responsibilities, so have the cost that it all brings. Considering this, governments nowadays have a task to evaluate the work of their civil service, to make it more productive and cost-effective. For this, different methods have

Each part has a special job, and all the parts work together to keep you alive and healthy. Good health is one of the most important things in life. There are certain things we can do to stay healthy. We should eat a balanced diet that includes the right kinds of food and drink plenty of clean, fresh water. We should exercise regularly, strengthening our muscles and keeping us in shape. Exercise helps the blood circulate around our bodies, cleaning out waste and supplying plenty of oxygen. It is also important what we get enough sleep. The number of hours we sleep we need depend on our age. Young babies sleep

and the slice-of-life effect makes them look a lot believable than they should be. So how should mass media be used with youth? Mass media, effective as it is, can be used on the youth to drive home pressing concerns in the country. Child obesity, the dangers of alcohol and preteen sexual relations, importance of exercise and fitness etc. If these things can be done, the mass media will be able to influence the youth for the better and send better messages for the development of the youth than what it is sending today. Mass Media Influence on Adults Like children and youth, mass media influences adults too, although perhaps not on the same scale. Most adults with a platonic view of things will resist the temptation of being buoyed up by what the mass media has to offer. While men usually find it difficult to hold them selves back in the face of the allure of sexuality. Other subjects

Photography is a pretty expensive hobby and starting with it was quite difficult in the beginning. I had to take photographs with really poor cameras and more than once I heard how somebody was laughing over me because of my uncompetitive equipment. Still I remained selfconfident and full of determination. Time passed and I had enough money to buy a bit better camera and from this point, things started to go uphills. By the present moment I have achieved good results in different competitions and I am working as a photographer for two youth magazines. I have managed to buy myselt contemporary equipment what professional photographers would be very proud. At the moment photography has compensated itself fully. The best thing about it is that I am really good at something and people respect me because of that. I am proud that I had enough determination in the past that I did not give up my hobby.

Vehicles generally have been considered to be more a men's subject. Although over the years more women have started to use a car, but the change between male and female car users have still persisted. Females have started to make working-career by themselves and the need for transportation has increased; one of the comfortable ways to get to a work would definitely be a car. Housewives can also use car to do the grocery shopping or to take children to school. (http://academic.mintel.com A) Since 1998 more and more households are owing 2 cars. I think that teachers should be creative to blend so-called digital learning/teaching with old-fashioned learning/teaching. · Sir Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity? Sir Ken Robinson claims in the clip that " creativity in education is as important as literacy, we should treat it with the same status." I totally agree with all what he said. We have very strict education systems that don't allow a room for mistakes and they categorize people based on their achievements in exams. There is nothing like potentials, creativeness, possibilities or even 2nd chances. Families put high expectations on academic achievements and they always compare their kids with other's kids. • A reduction in construction time is evident only when the building models are openly shared; • Intelligent models help to find clashes and reduce re-work; • Models increase accuracy during fabrication and construction; • Shop-drawing review is sped up; • Steel design takes place in a more concurrent fashion; • 3D illustrations help to explain erection sequencing; • Building models provide rigging information for erection crews. The results of this thesis illustrate the benefit that 3D and BIM offer for complex steel construction projects and demonstrate an overall trend in the construction industry. The primary purpose of 3D and BIM is to be able to build the structure in virtual space before actual construction starts, so that the majority of the potential challenges can be successfully identified and addressed during the preconstruction phase. Technology has dramatically changed leisure and hobbies

It is great, although it can also harm people. Technology is serious responsibility- if people do not use an invention carefully, then it would end up the wrong way. The word „Leisure“ meaning changes in every 10 to 20 years. 50 years ago spare time was usually considered as that part of a day when people took a nap or children played with each other. Nowadays technological tools are killing off leisure time, especially for younger workers and students, who are working longer hours, taking fewer and shorter vacations but still bringing their cell phones and laptops along. Constantly in health magazines are headlines like „Too much stress“ or „Stress is killing people“. It is like that because the boundaries between work and play are blurred. Computing and communications technologies are destroying the idea of privacy and leisure. Nowadays some youngsters can say that their hobby is playing computer games or reading iBooks

Education

After I've said what I think about each topic, readers may have a fair comprehension of my philosophy. First comes sensitivity. If a person be insensitive, be it from numbing cold, exhaustion, drugs, genetic makeup, or upbringing, then the process of education is bogged down, and results come only after great efforts. Sensitivity in my integrated meaning is broad, covering literally the senses, so that deaf and blind people are less sensitive, as well as people whose senses work perfectly, but whose receptivity or thought processes are blunted for whatever reason. A person can be insensitive in one way, such as blind, and extraordinarily sensitive in another way, such as in hearing. It is also possible to be so ultra-sensitive that the result is disadvantageous. I expect no argument in asserting that a normal sensitivity is a healthy, indispensable ingredient for optimal education. Sensitivity can be heightened or blunted by education

metaphorically implies a logic of production. As such, Uriely et al.’s (2002) reference to a backpacking biography presents an apt departure point in the backpacking literature for exploring how the episodic consumption of backpacking can be assembled into a meaningful and identifiable lifestyle. Lifestyle Consumption Although lifestyles can be used as a means of socially stratifying individuals, as one might do through social class, occupation, ethnicity or culture, it is important to locate lifestyles as products of the same post-industrial period they can be used to analyse (Binkley, 2004). Lifestyles are central to debates about consumer culture and are often ‘articulated in relation to shifts identified with post-Fordism and/or postmodernism’ (Bell & Hollows, 2006, p. 1). Historical shifts from mass to specialised production in the context of urbanisation saw western class distinctions begin to destabilise and a concurrent rise in niche consumption

Supply chains exist in both service and manufacturing organizations, although the complexity of the chain may vary greatly from industry to industry and firm to firm. Unlike commercial manufacturing supplies, services such as clinical supplies planning are very dynamic and can often have last minute changes. Availability of patient kit when patient arrives at investigator site is very important for clinical trial success. This results in overproduction of drug products to take care of last minute change in demand. R&D manufacturing is very expensive and overproduction of patient kits adds significant cost to the total cost of clinical trials. An integrated supply chain can reduce the overproduction of drug products by efficient demand management, planning, and inventory management. The everincreasing use of technology in our daily lives is not always a good thing Technology plays an increasingly important part in our daily lives. While many technological developments may be beneficial in the field of medicine, for instance there are many others whose effects are less positive. We may find examples of these in the world of work, in the area of information technology and in the home. In the world of work, technological advances have had various negative effects. The development of robotics has meant that in industries such as carmanufacturing robots are replacing people. They work faster and more accurately and they do not need breaks. As a result, industrial workers see job opportunities dwindling further and unemployment levels rising. Furthermore, rapid advances in information technology mean that fewer people are needed in fulltime employment. More and more people are working from

This percentage has grown over 130% from the year 2000. I bring my examples on North-America because there is the highest percentage of Internet users in population. Talking of it, what is internet? Statistics say that it is porn, but I believe that people mostly use it for communication. But can it be bad? Along with the use of the Internet, obesity also has grown dramatically. 1 out of 10 Americans is obese. Why, you ask? Of course the utmost important reason is that people choose to drive their cars instead of going on foot, but there is more. People don't physically visit each other anymore and why should they, when they can talk and have fun without even rising from their seats. Nowadays they can even order food and other domestic products online. Why leave the safety of your home, when everything is online? My second argument will be the psyche of the people overusing virtual communication

Some ideologies, such as libertarian capitalism, are often rebuked, because in such a system all property in a society would be privately owned, away from any state involvement or regulation. Libertarians counter that potential free riders within their system could face social ostracism, which may deter those who accept services without donating any payment for them. Libertarians stress that the need to healthily co- operate and interact with others in society would lessen the risk and likelihood of free riders. 3 The Example The free rider problem has deep roots in more general bargaining, and issues to do with incentive compatibility

Wiener and Vardi describe organisational commitment as behavioural intention or reaction, determined by the individual's perception of the normative pressure. Meyer and Allen discribes organisational commitment as a psychological state that characterises organisational members' relationship with the organisation and has implications for the decision to continue or discontinue membership in the organisation. Effects Organisational commitment can have either a negative or a positive effect on the organization. The negative effect implies that the level of organisational commitment is low. Employees with a low level of organisational commitment tend to be unproductive and some become loafers at work. In some cases the high rate of staff turnover and absenteeism are associated with the low level of organisational commitment. Sometimes, when organizational commitment is over-commitment it
