ENGLISH TOPICS - palju teemasid inglise keele riigieksami kordamiseks

In London you'll also find Indonesian, Mexican, Greek... Cynics will say that this is because English have no "cuisine" themselves, but this is not quite the true. Vocabulary: to criticize - tasteless overcooked - ingredient - to invent - sauces - to disguise - spice herb - delicious - disappointing - to lend cuisine British Youth (2) Most 18 and 19 year-olds in Britain are quite independent people. English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. For example, children aged 13 may be employed part time in Great Britain. Age 15 is legally a "young person" not a "child". Age 16 is a school leaving age. They can leave home, drive a moped, marry with "parents' consent" buy beer. Age 17 can drive a car. Age 18 can vote, get married, drink in pubs.

Stress in the life of young people

Stress in the life of young people We should acknowledge from the start that we all have stress in our lives and it's completely normal. The problem is that the age of people suffering from the stress is getting younger every year. We are all a little different and and also respond differently to situations that make us feel stressed. It is clear that there are many things that cause stress, especially when one is a teenager still trying to find his place in the world and finding out what to do with his life. The reasons may be upcoming exams, homework, new school, taking on a new responsibility school is a huge part of teenager's life and studying may often cause stress. Another thing that causes a lot of stress in the life of young is having bad relations. Being left out of the group, being harrased or having troubles with parents.

Each part has a special job, and all the parts work together to keep you alive and healthy. Good health is one of the most important things in life. There are certain things we can do to stay healthy. We should eat a balanced diet that includes the right kinds of food and drink plenty of clean, fresh water. We should exercise regularly, strengthening our muscles and keeping us in shape. Exercise helps the blood circulate around our bodies, cleaning out waste and supplying plenty of oxygen. It is also important what we get enough sleep. The number of hours we sleep we need depend on our age. Young babies sleep

Dear listeners, most of us here today are soon going to make the biggest and most important step of our lives so far. We are going to start a completely new and different life after graduation. The emphasis therefore should be on the word "life". The real thing, it's coming, it's going to hit us and it's going to hit us hard. Nothing is going to be the same. Life will never ever be as simple, carefree and easygoing again. To me, the expression "life is hard" has never meant anything. I have always been more of a "life is beautiful"-type. I have never really thought that it actually is hard. Mostly because I have never thought what the real life is like. Ofcourse I have seen it, it's all around me, but only seeing and seeing plus thinking through what you see are two really different things.

brothers. Marriage has also, at times, been recognized as a union between two men (as in ancient Rome, where marriages between aristocratic males were recognized by law), or as a union between two siblings (as in medieval Europe, when valuable property was at stake); or as a union between two children (again in Europe, when parents wanted to protect their property); or as a union between two unborn (ditto); or as a union between two people of the same social class (once more in Europe, where medieval peasants were forbidden by law to marry their betters, in order to keep social divisions clean). In China, the definition of marriage once included a sacred union between a living woman and a dead man. It was called a ghost marriage. A young girl of high rank would be married off to a dead man from a good family in order to seal the bonds of unity between two clans. Thankfully, no sex was involved. Some Chinese
