All the 3 original steam engines as well as most of the original arrangement of space and late Jugendstil interior of the officers' rooms are preserved. by many Estonians as a symbol of oppression that the Estonian authorities scheduled the cathedral for demolition in 1924, but the decision was never implemented due to lack of funds and the building's massive construction. It crowns the hill of Toompea where the Estonian folk hero Kalevipoeg is said to have been buried according to a legend.  The Tallinn Song Stage was built in 1959 for the Estonian Song Festival. In the northern side of the song stage there is the 42m high fire tower, which is used during the Song Festivals. Estonians gathered here at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds to sing patriotic hymns in what became known as the Singing Revolution that overthrew the Soviet rule.

It was situated by Peter I in 1718 and named it in the honor of hiswife ?Ekatherine?. Palace was projected by italian architect Nikkolo Miketti, but the first brick in the base of the structure the tsar himself has put. -The Kadriorg Park- is the most knowned hand made park in Estonia.
